6. Branch(1/2)
Professor McGonagall left, and the atmosphere in the cabin became a little dull.
The little wizards who had just stepped into the mysterious world were nervous about the upcoming branch ceremony, fearing that they would not pass the Hogwarts exam.
How embarrassing it would be if you were dropped out of school!
Klein looked at the tense little faces with interest and felt very happy. Thinking of his stupid appearance when he was enrolled in school in his last life, he unconsciously raised the corners of his mouth.
"ah!"
Suddenly, a girl's scream suddenly came from the crowd.
At some point, a group of translucent ghosts appeared in the room!
"Ke...Klein?"
The timid Neville subconsciously went to find a friend he had just met, but happened to see Klein greeting a chubby ghost monk. He was so scared that he choked his throat and coughed violently.
"Your companion seems a little timid."
The ghost monk smiled and was not surprised by his reaction to Neville. Every year, there are new students who are scared very much. After all, they are only a few who are as calm as Klein.
"He is just afraid of life."
Klein shrugged, leaving no trace of the topic.
"Officials outside say there are many secrets hidden in this castle. How about it? Are you interested in telling me?"
The ghost monk was slightly stunned and shook his head with a smile.
"Young people, some things have to be explored by themselves to be more interesting."
"Okay~"
Without any useful information, Klein was not disappointed and was still happily chatting with the ghost monk.
After a while, Professor McGonagall returned, and the ghost monk waved goodbye to him and drilled back into the wall like other ghosts.
"The branch ceremony is ready, now, follow me."
In a clean and neat manner, Professor McGonagall took the lead and led Klein and others into a luxurious restaurant.
Candlelight covers the sun, and it is magnificent!
There are four long dining tables in the dining room, with shining golden plates and crystal goblets on the dining table. The dining table is full of people, and senior students are curiously looking at their juniors.
Countless candles hang in the air, reflecting the endless starry sky - it was a very clever fantasy, almost no different from the real sky.
There was a seat for the professors on the platform. Professor McGonagall brought everyone under the platform and stood facing the dining table.
Suddenly, countless eyes focused on these newborns.
"Um."
Neville swallowed nervously and spitted, the invisible pressure caused his stomach to spasm. Klein, who was beside him, smiled and said nothing.
After the team stood up, Professor McGonagall nodded to the platform, then gently placed a four-legged stool in front of the first-year freshmen, took out a dirty and old wizard hat and placed it on the stool.
The hat was wrinkled, as if it had a human face. What was even more interesting was that when everyone's eyes were focused on the hat, it actually started singing.
"You may think I'm not pretty,
But don't judge people by their appearance.
If you can find a wiser hat than me,
I can eat myself.
You can make your bowler hats black and shiny,
Make your high-top silk hat smooth and crisp,
I'm a test hat for Hogwarts.
Of course, it is superior to your hat.
Any thoughts hidden in your mind,
Even the golden eyes of the demon hat cannot escape the magic eyes,
Put it on and try it, I will tell you,
Which college should you be assigned to?
You may belong to Gryffindor,
There is the courage buried in the heart,
Their courage, courage and magnanimity,
Make Gryffindor stand out;
You may belong to Hufflepuff,
The people there are honest and loyal,
Hufflepuff students are stoic and honest,
Not afraid of hard labor;
If you are smart,
Perhaps the wisdom of old Lavenclaw,
Those wise and knowledgeable people,
I always meet their fellow men there;
Maybe you'll go to Slytherin,
Maybe you make sincere friends here,
But those cunning and insidious people will do whatever they want,
Go to achieve their goals.
Come and wear me! Don't be afraid!
Never panic!
In my hands
You're absolutely safe
Because I am a magic hat that can be thoughtful!"
His voice was hoarse and seriously out of tune, but Klein still applauded with face. Not only him, but everyone was applauding.
A smiling face appeared on the branch hat, and seemed very satisfied.
"Now whoever I call my name will put on my hat and sit on a chair."
After the applause subsided, Professor McGonagall cleared his throat, announced the beginning of the branch ceremony, and shouted out the first name on the parchment in her hand.
"Abbo Hannah."
Hearing the name, two little girls with golden braids stumbled out of the crowd and quickly sat on the chair and put on their hats.
After a moment, the Sorting Hat gave its answer.
"Hufflepuff!"
As he fell, the far right of the restaurant began to applaud and cheer, and she was welcomed to sit at the dining table belonging to the Badgeryard.
"Susan Pence"
Professor McGonagall spoke again.
"Hufflepuff"
The decision to make the school hat this time is faster than last time.
The branch ceremony was proceeding in an orderly manner...
Neville Longbottom, Draco Malfoy, Andy Thomas, Pansy Parkinson, Hermione Granger, those who had more or less communicated with Klein completed the branch office and joined their dining table.
When Harry Potter sat in the chair, the atmosphere in the restaurant climaxed.
After a while of waiting, the boy who survived the disaster joined Gryffindor and won thunderous applause.
More and more people are leaving the freshman team, and Klein is not in a hurry and is quietly waiting for the name.
Time passed little by little, and in the end, he was the only one left under the platform.
He is the last one!
"Klein Grindelwald."
After scanning the list, Professor McGonagall shouted out the last name and couldn't help but be slightly stunned.
Grindelwald?
This surname is not common.
"Tap, tap, tap."
To be continued...
