Chapter Fourteen: Han Fei, Li Si

Although Sanghai City is not the capital of Qi, its reputation among the seven kingdoms is no less than that of Linzi, and it is built in this area, a small sage village.

Confucianism is known for its academic research, and the small sage village is the residence of Confucianism. The academic atmosphere is so strong that it can be regarded as the best among the seven countries.

Ling Chen and Xue Nu came to Sanghai City, but did not intend to visit Confucianism. They came to Sanghai, just to see the sea close up. The two found an inn in the city, and then walked to the beach hand in hand.

The handsome man and beautiful woman attracted a lot of attention along the way, but neither of them cared about it and came to the beach talking and laughing.

"Is this the sea? It's really vast and boundless." Standing on a cliff, looking down at the sea below, the snow girl saw the sea for the first time, and a hint of surprise appeared in her eyes.

Before you reach the beach, you can't feel the feeling of the sky and the sea. Standing in front of the boundless sea, everyone can feel their own insignificance.

"I don't know, where the end of the sea will be. I'm afraid only the legendary immortal god knows it." Looking at the blue ocean, the snow girl murmured.

According to legend, the end of the sea is also called the end of the sky. It is where gods live, free and free, and lasts forever.

Standing on the cliff, listening to the snow girl's whisper in her ears, looking at the surging sea in front of her, Ling Chen suddenly remembered a sentence in his heart and read it softly.

"The sea reaches the boundless sky to be the shore, and the mountain reaches the top and I am the peak."

"Taking the sky as the shore and me as the peak, my brother has such a great spirit." A voice sounded behind the two of them.

Ling Chen and Xue Nu turned around and saw two young men coming side by side, one dressed in gorgeous clothes and handsome appearance, with a cynical smile on their faces, and the other was wearing a Confucian robe, with an eagle-like eyes, and a sharp look on their bodies.

"Confucian people?" Ling Chen's eyes swept across the waists of the two, and two wooden signs with the word Confucian were shaking constantly as they walked.

"Oh, I forgot to take it off when I came out." The gorgeously dressed young man slapped his head and seemed a little annoyed when he heard this.

"It's really troublesome. If I hadn't been allowed to live, I would have thrown it away."

The young man muttered, then bowed to Ling Chen seriously.

"I'll introduce myself. Here I will be a Legalist, Han Fei, this is my junior brother, Li Si."

When talking, Han Fei was very serious about the word "Fa" and seemed to be afraid that others would not hear it.

"Han Fei? You are the Han Fei who is possessed by five trash? The little sage village hasn't driven you out yet." The snow girl looked at Han Fei strangely.

As soon as this said, the smile on Han Fei's face froze. Seeing this, Ling Chen and Li Si couldn't help but chuckled.

The Five Worms are a Legal classic written by Han Fei. In it, he severely rebuked the five types of borers that endanger the country, including Confucianism.

Among the five worms, he criticized Confucianism, straitors and Mohism as nothing, claiming that the rulers should crack down on these three academic sects so that they will be conducive to the long-term stability of the country.

The key to the problem is that the one who cultivated Han Fei was the Confucianism that he denounced as a "borer". His teacher was Xunzi, the contemporary leader of Confucianism.

As soon as the five worms appeared, Confucianism suddenly became a laughing stock among all schools of thought. The students they trained themselves actually criticized the academics of this sect, which was a big deal of the world.

Even the snow girl in Yan State had heard of this.

In Xue Nu's opinion, Han Fei, who did such a "big rebellious" thing, should have been driven out by Confucianism for a long time. How could it be?

Han Fei was not driven out because of Xunzi and Ling Chen knew some reasons.

Xunzi was the head of Confucianism, but unlike Confucius and Mencius, he believed that human nature was evil and advocated the use of severe punishments to avoid and punish crimes rather than moral education.

Many of his works reflect a strong Legalist thought. In later generations, people more recognized Xunzi's contribution to the construction of the rule of law and classified him as the predecessors of Legalism.

Even later Confucians will often selectively forget this Confucian sage.

It is not surprising that Han Fei and Li Si became the descendants of the Legalists by such a person.

Now, Xunzi is the head of Confucianism. If he doesn’t speak, who dares to expel Han Fei?

"Doctor, Ling Chen, I have met two of you. These are the inner men, Snow Girl." Ling Chen bowed to the two of you.

"Doctor?" Han Fei and Li Si looked at Ling Chen in surprise. The person who could say those shocking words was actually the descendant of the doctor?

This is not consistent with the image of a doctor.

"Snow Girl... This name is a bit familiar. Oh, are you the number one dancer in the Seven Kingdoms?" Han Fei was suddenly stunned and said in surprise at the Snow Girl.

Looking at Ling Chen nodding, Han Fei looked at him with a strange look, and was very curious about why Ling Chen could take down the first dancer of the Seven Kingdoms.

"Han Fei, you are very interesting, we will see you again." Ling Chen looked at Han Fei and said lightly.

Then, regardless of Han Fei's confused eyes, he hugged the snow girl and left.

"It's inexplicable, it's such a weird guy." Han Fei stared at Ling Chen's back for a while, and said with a shaking head.

"Senior brother, if we part today, we will meet again in the future, and we may be enemies." At this time, Li Si, who had not spoken, finally spoke.

He looked at Han Fei with sharp eyes, and there seemed to be a slight fire in his eyes.

"Not possible, it's certain. As long as the Qin Dynasty's intention to come out from the east is not dead, Qin and Han will be destined to be enemies." Looking at Li Si, Han Fei also became serious and said in a calm tone.

"Yes, at that time, I hope my senior brother can show all his skills, and Si will not hold back." Li Si said.

"It should be so. Although you and I have different positions, their ideas are the same. The laws of heaven and earth are implemented without laziness. Today, I don't make grass to give you a good trip. I wish you a smooth journey." Han Fei pulled out a grass from the ground and handed it to Li Si.

"Thank you, senior brother." Li Si took the grass and said solemnly.

"Look for a while. After today, it will be not easy to watch the sea again." Han Fei sighed, carrying his right hand on his back, looking into the distance, as if he wanted to imprint the world in front of him in his heart.

Li Si didn't say anything, stood side by side with Han Fei, looking at this familiar and unfamiliar sea.

"Senior brother, I've said goodbye." After a long time, Li Si bowed to Han Fei, then turned around, and walked down the mountain with a firm expression.

"Strong Qin, weak Han, haha." Han Fei chuckled, with a touch of toughness between his eyebrows and eyes, and his body was like a green pine, standing upright on the top of the mountain.

...

"You seem to be very familiar with Han Fei?" Xue Nv asked in confusion.

"That's right, this young master of Korea is an interesting person." Ling Chen chuckled and said.

"Oh." Seeing that Ling Chen didn't want to say more, Xue Nu did not delve into it.
