002 The Prophet

"You shouldn't be angry at a child like that, especially with that little guy."

When Orwell passed by another stone house, a blond young man holding a half-man's tall long bow leaned lazily on the wooden door and whispered.

In the entire Dor village, even the village chief’s family lives in wooden houses. There are only four stone houses in total. Obviously, none of them can live in them are ordinary people.

"What do you mean?" Intermediate warrior Orwell stopped and frowned at the blonde archer. "Eddie, my old friend, we have fought side by side. Do you think what I said is wrong?"

"Of course I remember how brave you were in the battle... But if you remember correctly, there are so many warriors in the guild, and many people don't mind assembling an extra shield." Eddie shrugged, "After all, not every warrior advocates courage like you."

"Observation is the best defense!" Orwell snorted, "In the face of the enemy's attack, instead of hiding behind the shield and praying that it can block the enemy, it is better to stab the enemy with a fierce sword. Even if you suffer some injuries... aren't there any priests and other guys hiding in the back to heal?"

The burly warrior said, glanced at another stone house not far away.

Sure enough, there was a white-haired old man wearing a white cloak standing there.

Junior pastor – William.

"I think you ignored a little, Orwell." The old man with a white haired smiled bitterly at this time, "The shield is not necessarily used to protect yourself, it can also protect others..."

"That child is called Daren Bull~" Archer Eddie also kindly reminded.

"Of course I know his name is Daren Boole... Wait, his surname is Boole?" Orwell said, suddenly widening his eyes, "Can it be that Boole..."

—————

"Dalen! Wait!"

Accompanied by the crisp shouts, a boy with short red hair ran at the end of the path.

When Daren heard this, he stopped, a smile appeared on the corner of his mouth, and turned to look at the only chasing person - indeed, it was his good friend, Gene!

Just as Daren has always hoped to be a great adventurer warrior, Gene is also a man who vowed to be a powerful adventurer archer since childhood.

"You're leaving so fast!" Gene panted and caught up. "Are you still unhappy about Lord Orwell's words? Hey, don't take it seriously! You think, I am an apprentice who uses bows and arrows, and even the intermediate archer Lord Eddie has not criticized me. He, a warrior, actually came to find out my fault, which shows that he must be an arrogant and arrogant guy!"

"But he is indeed an intermediate warrior who awakened the "Sign of Light". What he said must be reasonable." Deren shrugged, "But you don't have to worry. I'm not that fragile. I won't give up the shield."

"I know!" Gene laughed and hugged Daren's shoulder. "We have agreed long ago that when we grow up, I will go out to take risks. I will be responsible for shooting cold arrows in the back, and you will be responsible for blocking all monsters in front! We are yellow! gold! Shooting!!"

"Go to your golden partner...you're looking for a free mercenary." Daren rolled his eyes and opened Gene's arm in an instant.

“Hey hey…”

"Oh by the way, Daren, I heard that Hans was showing off a Viking helmet he got. Let's not go and see?"

The tone was asking, but the red-haired boy shook his eyebrows and pulled Daren away without saying anything.

A moment later, next to the blacksmith shop to the west of Door village.

A group of children are surrounding the tree stump.

"Mr. Orwell did say that the big axe was not suitable for me, but don't forget that I'm still growing!" Hans, a strong and tall boy, stood on the tree stump, posing to show his strength to a circle of peers around him. "Look, you are not as strong as me now, I will grow stronger in the future, stronger than my grandfather! Then the axe will be less heavier than me, and I can still use it!"

"And you, you guys without talent, will never be able to use such a big and heavy weapon!"

"The giant axe is prepared for the real warriors. I am the real warrior! You are not all!"

Hans's shout made a circle of boys look at each other and lower their heads.

The movement here even attracted the curious eyes of girls from several villagers' homes in the distance.

When Daren was dragged by Gene to come here, he happened to see the above scene.

"Ha! Hans must have felt that he was criticized by Lord Orwell in the training ground in the afternoon and lost face. Now he is in a hurry to find his power as a "Young King". "Gen winked and laughed, "Go away, Daren, let's go and make trouble for him!"

Daren smiled bitterly - his good brother has always been very inconsistent with Hans, and he can't explain why.

In the village of Dore, Hans has many younger brothers, but obviously neither Delen nor Gene are among them.

Hans over there was still roaring.

"Look, this is a broken Viking helmet I found from the dark valley to the north!" Hans raised a heavy metal helmet with two sharp horns. "It used to be severely damaged, but I have repaired it with my superb blacksmith's skills. Now it is my equipment! Like the giant axe, this is also a powerful and mysterious thing that you cannot control..."

"Yo! Not bad!"

Hans' voice was suddenly interrupted by a sarcastic laughter.

"It seems that our little Hans doesn't have enough confidence in the hardness of his head... When the giant axe swung our Hans to hit the monster, there was such a helmet, well, it was much safer..."

This sentence made the audience silent for a moment.

Immediately afterwards, even though most of the people present were Hans's followers, a depressing laughter still erupted!

The rest of the people who didn't laugh obviously endured it very hard, and their shoulders kept shaking.

"Ji—Ye—!!!"

Hans' eyes were about to get angry, and he jumped off the stump, put his Viking helmet on his head, and rushed angrily towards the red-haired boy who was laughing!

That way, it really looked like an angry calf.

The boys scattered one after another, giving up a straight path, and the end of the path was Gene and Dellen!

"You guy..." Daren patted his companion helplessly, first whispered something, and then, like countless times before, raised his shield and greeted him.

Thumb! Thumb! Thumb!

"Calf" Hans stepped on the ground with heavy steps, but not to speed up... He actually stopped for three steps.

"You... get out of the way!" Hans stared at the brunette boy who was not weak in front of him, but was obviously much thinner than him, but showed a kind of fear and hesitation that he shouldn't have appeared.

At this moment, Daren's face had become very serious. He raised his shield slightly with his left arm, blocked half of his face, stood firmly with his waist and legs spreading, staring at his opponent with his eyes hard, and a buzzing voice came from behind the shield: "As long as I'm still standing, you don't think about going over."

The faces of the onlookers suddenly became exciting - it was a kind of expression that contained expectations and curiosity, like a big show about to watch.

"You forced me!" Perhaps because of the anger overwhelmed fear, Hans accelerated again, shouted and rushed over with all his attention.

A moment later, when he tried to hold Daren and used his weight advantage to crush him to the ground, Hans finally stopped bluffing and a look of glee and joy flashed in his eyes!

"Dalen, I see what other tricks you can do this time..."

Bang!

Before he could enjoy the joy of victory, the heavy metal helmet above Hans' head suddenly trembled.

The onlookers suddenly became silent.

Hans looked up slowly in shock and saw everyone looking at him with their mouths wide open.

Gene reacted first and clapped his hands and laughed!

"Ha ha ha ha……"

"What a Viking helmet, mysterious and powerful equipment!"

"What a repaired person by your superb blacksmith's skills!"

"So the so-called superb blacksmith skill is to use gum to glue the buffalo horns to the most ordinary guard helmet?"

It turned out that just now, Gene took advantage of the two of them being hugged and rolled to the ground. He remembered Daren's previous advice and decisively pulled the bow and shot an arrow, and shot an arrow on one of Hans's helmet!
