Chapter 117 Adventurer

Uriel felt a cool breeze swept behind him, and a statue horse raised its front hooves. He immediately rolled in with Memi in his arms, and his veritable iron hooves smashed into the stone bricks. A long halberd pierced over, and the apprentice almost lowered his head to avoid it. The vibration made him unsteadily stand, so he had to dodge under the long hooves of the horse.

A fence fell into the water, and the broken moon carved on it and the dense layers of ash leaves fell into pieces as if they were hitting the mud. Olola's body was broken. The water flow gathered by the lake, and the fairy's face became more transparent and seemed to have been hurt.

But she looked stubborn. "That was the treasure given to the Sarah people by Alanwo, enough to carry the magic of the nameless-"

In the past, the word "Nameless" always touched the apprentice's heart, but now Uriel has no time to care about her words. There are more and more statues and armor. He feels that he is facing a whole raft of raiders, and the dense stabs made Uriel sweat.

"Be careful!" When a spear that could not dodge fell, Memi jumped on his face and knocked the apprentice away. The sharp blade rubbed the scalp of the two guys into the rock.

York turned into a light spot under a knight's sword, and when it reappeared, it was not far from the shore of the lake. The Kamaria goblin immediately floated backwards without letting the mercenaries catch him.

"Stop!" He had no choice but to draw out his sword.

"The Broken Moon is awakening Kamaria." Aolola turned a deaf ear to his threat. "The magic can no longer stop, and ancient history is returning to its position."

She raised her head, "We're going to succeed."

The charge knight forced the adventurer to retreat to the side. The fairy took the opportunity to break into a splash of water and flashed to the edge of the stone bridge. Uriel tried to throw the little wolf onto the stone bridge, and immediately changed direction. They staggered to avoid the pursuit of an armor. The apprentice used a short sword to open a thin sword that came from nowhere, but the fairy was waiting for him in the way, and the water flowed down like a horse.

Uriel instinctively rushed forward, avoiding the magic piercing. The soft lake water smashed the empty shell of a Knight's armor into two pieces, and then exploded with stone shatters on the ground. Meimi was so scared that her hair stood up. Seeing the power of magic, the apprentice couldn't help but sink. He knew that he might not have such good luck next time.

Tatta...

Kamaria saved him again, the shock made it difficult for the goblin to control the direction of the magic. She was forced to stop on the stone bridge.

Suddenly, a huge, continuous roar sounded on this holy white land, as if a storm was striking. This was a sound that reminded the white snow waves of rolling and flying, and a sound of freedom. When it rushes through the space and blocks the bee pupa, it can actually make people feel the lightness and beauty of the violent.

The daytime broke and the red clouds began to fade. The deep night was coming. It was not until this time that Uriel suddenly recalled the tunnel they entered at night. The daytime in the Moon Capital almost made him forget this fact.

In the darkness, the top of the pillar of light revealed the hazy silver outline of the broken moon. After the magic sky flashed through the last thunder of existence, it was swallowed by the stars and darkness. Just witnessing this scene, Uriel felt trembling all over. The ancient city of elfs regained the light of the sky, and the indescribable mystery poured out of the sky. He used all his strength to make himself hold the short knife in his hand. He didn't know what it was to hold it tightly.

York was entangled by a group of knights' armor and almost fell into the lake.

"The tide of the black moon is too long." He heard Aolla's voice, and the tiny words were torn to pieces by the wind when they passed by his body.

"It's finally here..." Her blue eyes stared at the apprentice, or the little werewolf Memi in his hand. "Leave the believers of Broken Moon to me, Uriel. The new story is interesting, I promise not to hurt you."

Her target was Memi. "You exchange my story with a guarantee, Ms. Olola, the agreement between us is not like this." Uriel reluctantly stood firm, and he replied loudly. "I gave you the story. What we got is the treasure and your friendship, not the promise of deception."

"Then, I swear to Otto this time that I will never hurt you." said the goblin, "You are an astrologer, and you should know that Knox has no more reliable oath than the oath of fate. The Moon Capital is collapsing, and I can even ask Timire to protect you. As long as you hand the wolf to me-"

"Impossible!" the little werewolf screamed. "You will kill me! The elves will kill me! Uriel knows everything, so he won't do this!"

His voice suddenly roared, and he was even more confident than his apprentice himself.

Slowly, Uriel picked up Memi's collar and the little gray wolf looked at him with a blank expression. The apprentice saw fear gradually appearing in the pair of golden pupils, and his voice became smaller. He held back and didn't laugh.

Now you should be honest. "In fact, I have no need for your protection and commitment. And I swear to Gaia more to my faith than Otto." Uriel told her, "We deserve a share of Memi in the treasure."

The apprentice jumped back and avoided the goblin's water cannon. When the bricks and stones were shattered, the werewolf Memi was still shouting angrily in his hand. "Don't scare me!" He clamped the stupid wolf under his arm and let it avoid the sharp stone pieces in a dirt.

"I have to hide you quickly." Uriel complained, "You have known for a long time that this is the Moon Capital, and Aolla is the demon, the nameless accomplice?"

"Not that clear. But I don't think she likes me."

"Maybe she likes you so much. Why can't I see what you are for?"

"I'm not a fairy!" Meimi himself didn't know. A water-flowing cannonball brushed his forehead, and the little gray wolf quickly buried the tip of his nose into his claws, and never dared to show his head again.

Ms. Olola no longer negotiated. A dense circle of water appeared behind her, and magic arrows shot out quickly covered the sky and the sun.

"The goddess is above." Uriel didn't think about it and pulled open the parchment roll in his arms. The brilliant shelter spread out, and the powerful water cannons hitting the wooden shield like iron arrows, with a dull sound.

"Twist him away!" The adventurer turned into light and rushed towards the goblin, and she immediately turned into water and disappeared. The two elemental lives were entangled in the gravel rain.

The rise of magic power was accompanied by the invasion of sadness, and Uriel couldn't help but take a breath. He immediately canceled the magic technique and used a short knife to swing a sharp blade. But this time the steel rock did not break freely. After all, the short knife was just ordinary iron.

The knights and sculptures came like waves. Uriel could not help but feel desperate about the number of enemies. Even if he held a long sword in his hand, he could not deal with so many enemies. He first cut off a helmet of armor and let it overturn weakly. Then the apprentice stuffed Memi into the empty shell and stabbed a thin sword again.

The cold and scorching brought vitality from one after another, and Uriel couldn't help but scream. The statue of the stone horse riding behind him drew out a spear, but the knight on the side had no time to withdraw his sword. The apprentice gritted his teeth and held the slender round blade that penetrated his shoulders, turned sideways and knocked away its helmet head with his elbow.

But such a counterattack was too powerless. Uriel was not afraid of the single Knight armor, but no one gave him a chance to fight alone. Memi screamed in the iron shell, and he staggered to lift it up to block a charge from the Knight statue.

A shock of metal impact—

The irresistible weight crushed his defense. Uriel and Memi's armor hit a stone step, only a short distance from Black Moon Lake. The apprentice got up with difficulty, and the knight and the statue finally stayed away from them. But before he could be glad, the lake suddenly ripples appeared.

“!!”

"Every drop of water is a fairy"

"Gaia!" Uriel almost rolled his eyes. He didn't know what to do for a moment.

"What's wrong?" Meimi couldn't see outside, and her claws were scratching the steel rock.

"Not a big problem..." Perhaps the little fairy in Black Moon Lake is not as powerful as Aolla, and he tried to imagine the possible luck situation for himself. But soon, the water in the entire lake flew and turned into flashing silver belts in the air. "...but I can't solve it."

"Do I have time to leave my last words?" the werewolf asked crying.

"If you know how to write, maybe it's possible. I believe no one can help you deliver the message now." In the face of death, Uriel was not as calm as he thought. He even regretted it a little. The apprentice felt that his palms were very wet, and he didn't know that his face had lost its blood.

I finally understood what Memi felt before. If I promised Olola, Memi would be killed. It was equivalent to killing him with my own hands. The loss of blood made him dizzy, but it would not make him lose his mind. I did right.

Magic falls like a rain curtain—

The familiar coldness came to his face, but the scroll did not respond anymore. Ulier knew that he had lost the will to fight death, so the scroll of vows refused to respond to him. I would die in adventure, like a mercenary, like a real adventurer.

Uriel had such gratitude for the first time. Long before he came to Knox, he wanted to become an adventurer: put his crazy thoughts into practice, traveling through the mountains and valleys, and spending his hard-earned savings. He would record his experiences after the deadly journey, write them into stories and even books, and leave them to later people to read.

Maybe in the book he would beautify himself a little and make victory sweeter, although Uriel didn't know whether this could fool others. But in his own situation, the writing skills of those adventurers' seniors were enough to do this.

The apprentice stared at the night sky. He suddenly realized that he never wanted to be an ordinary person, nor did he want to spend an ordinary life. Before he died, he realized that it was not Joey who awakened his desire to survive, but that he had longed for an extraordinary life.

The first water bullet penetrated his left arm, and the pain was the only feeling that would not flow out with blood. The lake water was cold and Uriel felt numb. Next, the second one would pass through the ribs, and the third one would penetrate the chest. Unless the goddess showed his spirit for him, the arrow would not stop. He knelt down halfway in the pain, hoping to suffer less torture before going to bed...

...A crystal clear curtain of ice and snow stood in front of him.
