Chapter 91 The End of the Tunnel

"An excuse. Chloita had an allies with the Glorious Council." Arabella replied, "We will not provoke the battle on our own initiative. The White Envoy may be angry at the actions of the Necromancer, or even vent his anger on the Council, but as long as there is no suitable excuse, he cannot go crazy everywhere, no matter how white represents Chloita."

The goddess' tone when she described the messenger was filled with a kind of contempt that she was forced to calm down. The holy light seemed to disappear from her for a moment. Will she know that she was afraid of him? Danlfin was surprised that she could smell the smell of fear.

But this was not her unique feeling, and the Paladin and Bishop Edger also noticed it. The former turned his eyes to the latter, and the bishop spoke.

"In the light of Lucia, we do not need to endure any unreasonable invasion. White body is the mysterious person in the empty realm, thus representing the tower of the sky. But each of us receives the favor of the God of Light, and each of us represents our faith."

"The flames burn the heart, and justice will last forever." Arabella lowered her head.

"We are bathed in the light, and everything is given." said the believers of the Glorious Council.

Danlfin watched coldly. She was of course curious about how these mysterious creatures maintained their self-belief even though they knew that the gods were dead, but after Gavin left, she had always carefully explored the questions that had no answers.

"Let you make a joke, my lady." Arabella stood up meticulously. "We can continue the topic."

"You have just answered me, Priest Arabella. Please don't care about my questions next. I shouldn't have participated in your mission discussion, it's not easy to block the Morris. I think there will always be people who won't care about the Count's orders."

"That part is our responsibility," Lemons assured.

Is this a matter of responsibility? Danlfin thought to himself, I don't care about the conflict between the Glory Council and Chloita, but it's better not to be in the ice land. I only care about myself, and the damn Lancost family. She understands that now she only has her own territory to rely on.

I must try my best to play the role of the Count of Iceland. Danlfin's eyes flashed through the sunset outside the window, warning himself not to trust anyone. The attitude of the bishop and the goddess to look at me was no different from Salichris's sweet words.

"Bonfire Town has become like this," she pointed out. If you can keep your promise, drive away this lovely sunshine. See who dares to do so.

"The Elf Golden Cup was taken away by the White Envoy. The abnormality of the town should be related to the Golden Cup."

"To be honest, I don't think there is anything wrong with this."

However, the Knightmaster turned a blind eye to her tactful persuasion. "There are very few good things, and most of the mysterious places are full of dangers, even if their dangers are not revealed for the time being."

"What's in the mountains"

The Knight was silent.

Bishop Edge signaled the goddess to sit down, and he rubbed the starlight peridot on the ivory brooch with his index finger again. Danlfin became alert.

But he was just thinking about it, and soon chose to let go. "Please forgive me, Miss, we have to hide the facts from people because spreading the news will only cause riots and fights. This land should not be sprinkled with blood again."

"As the Lord of the Iceland, I have the power to know everything that is happening under my feet. This is the power recognized by the Queen and Chloita, and the White Messenger is in Veneuver. He may have come to fulfill his past agreement."

Can Danlfin feel that Bishop Edge is considering the words, and neither the Paladin nor the White-robed goddess has any intention of objection. Can the Cardinal's decisions completely represent them?

Finally, when new questions arise, she gets the answers from the past.

"The Morris Mountains collapsed on a large scale in the Moon of Flowers. The Kingdom should not forget this matter very quickly," said the Bishop.

"The cause was the construction of the Angma Tunnel. The negligence of the geological bureau led to the collapse of the cave. Is this related to the mystery?"

"It's not certain yet. It's very likely that the underground vacant area was dug during construction."

"Underground Vacancy"

"A wonderful geological phenomenon is literally." The conversation was Arabella. "But it shouldn't be under the Morris. It was a heavy mountain range of mountains, rocks, soil and ice, not foam on the water. The underground space is a joke. Do you know what it means?"

Could it be that the current aristocratic tutors also include courses on geology and environment? Danlfin had to answer, "I don't understand."

"Meaning a mysterious place. The source of the mysterious phenomenon in Bonfire Town is in the Morris Mountains, under the Angma Tunnel."

The orange-faced man seemed to be as sure as he saw the ending of the matter.

"You have to know, York, sometimes I don't think anything in the world that people can't explain clearly should be pushed to mystery." The stones at Uriel's feet sounded, and he crossed a crossbar. "The Angma Tunnel project started sixty years ago. It should be this time. In short, the time span is so large. The Geological Bureau must know the situation of the mountains better than us. You will never feel that you are better than professionals."

"Don't rush to answer." Just as the Light Element was about to refute, Uriel said first, "There is no reason for the Kingdom to discover the mysterious place. Even Quillen and his wheel gang can find treasures. Is there such a hasty treasure land? The adventurers of the Kingdom will not mention it for now. What are their names for the mysterious creatures affiliated with the royal family?"

"Court magician."

"It's them." In fact, it was the first time Ulier heard of the title. "You have to admit that adventurers are not as good as them in certain aspects. For example, nonsense and shirk responsibility, of course, the most important thing is the ability to observe the terrain."

"Who wants to compare with those lackeys" York muttered. "Should they please."

"I think there must be some reason that caused changes in the Morris Mountains. The problem lies in the Green Rose City and the Black Moon River. Most of their ruins have formed mysterious places, but not necessarily in the Angma Tunnel."

"I think you just don't want to leave." York glanced at him.

Of course not, how could it be? Ulier may be comforting himself, "This is just a speculation. If we can't expect too much, we will be mentally prepared for possible accidents."

He knew that this was actually delaying time and waiting for his magic to recover so as to ensure the use of foreseeable magic. But this could not be said clearly, and the apprentice was also very eager to explore the treasure of the elf.

The closer he got to the depth, the more anxious he felt. While he was hesitating whether to use the last magic to predict good or bad luck, he was worried that it would be not very cost-effective to consume insurance now.

"Relax, it's very closed here, don't let the environment affect you." York saw his uneasiness. "You humans often feel uncomfortable if you stay for a long time. The long tunnels, the boundless ocean, and the endless sky. In fact, their fear is because of their own insignificance."

Who is not small in front of the world? Uriel kicked away a stone. The light on York's body is both stable and gentle.

But he had a premonition that in the darkness in front of him, in the bottomless corridors and the world of sand, soil and rocks, there was a strange and new fate looking forward to them. It was a wonderful feeling, blurred and transparent, overlapping, endless unknown ripples, and birds galloping through the sky. Everything was like crossing the water, only the eternal stars shining in the night.

Suddenly, the mercenary spoke, scaring Uriel. "I remembered it."

""

"The incident in Bonfire Town is related to the Elf Golden Cup, which was discovered by hunters on the mountain a few days ago. Does this mean that the change has only begun recently?"

"You actually thought of it, too."

"If you don't add the word "Ji" I'd be very grateful."

"Here." Uriel pretended not to hear. They stopped in front of the wall of rocks and collapsed wood. "No matter when it started, it was useless anyway. I think things might be what we speculated, and this place is still dead."

He realized he was relieved.

The gray tunnel stopped in front of a sloping rock and earth slope. There were traces of being washed away by an intercepted brick and stone wall, and a standing wall stuck at the top.

The two of them stood at the slope and could imagine how the torrent of mud and sand and stones poured into this narrow path, and how they slowly stopped and solidified, squeezed their bodies into the workers' mouths and trachea, surrounded and wrapped, and finally digested their bodies.

Gaia was on top, and Uriel was shocked to realize his wish had come true.

York didn't feel that way. He rushed up and punched and kicked, and his frustration made him forget his sword. The sound of hard soil and gravel fell from the darkness came from the shadows, and the vibration was like a whisper, echoing in the shadows.

"You can't get in," said the apprentice.

The mercenary stared at him. "How could this be possible?" disappointment seemed to be able to infect the strong walls on both sides. "Lucia is on, there should be a road here."

"Maybe we can only follow the Black Moon River to enter the treasure." Ulier couldn't help but analyze. After finding that hesitation had been finalized, I felt lost. "The mysterious place cannot be guessed, and the way to enter each place is different."

However, York denied that he "can't take a boat to the end. I felt that my mystery was getting lower and lower. If I really kept paddling to the source, I had no doubt that something terrible would happen."

The most likely one is that the mysterious boatman is easily disarmed by the mysterious boatman because of the suppression of mystery. He will cut open our throats and throw the body into the Black Moon River with the powerful arms he has been trained from years of paddling. Along the river we will reach the Broken Moon, where there are treasures and gold everywhere for burial. Ulier can imagine that if one day later generations find another way, our coffin will be part of the treasure he has obtained.

Uriel was sitting on the railroad tracks, and he hadn't forgotten to wait for the magic to recover. "So my speculation is correct, before, and now it's the same. We've been walking for a long time, let's take a break."

"What should I do if the Wheel Gang finds the treasure first?"

"Don't worry, York. You also know that their leader can only give up the disadvantage in front of your sword, and don't overestimate the professionalism of those people. You must know that the knowledge of the geology bureau is stronger than you, and adventurers will never be worse than gangsters."

"But they may have treasure maps."

Uriel was so amused that "I guess they would find that their treasure maps are no different from children's graffiti. The terrain of the Morris Mountains is not constant, especially since there were large-scale collapses before. How useful can the ancient treasure maps be?"
