It will be on the shelves around 12 noon today. Huo Feng would like to have a few words with everyone.

It’s been a long time since I’ve written a review for the launch, but I still have a lot to say.

Readers of this book should also feel that Huo Feng is not a newcomer to writing, and this is indeed the case.

I have been writing for a long time. I first entered the industry at Qidian, and achieved some small results, but then I moved to other stations.

As for the writing style of this book, there were some changes in the middle, mainly because after returning to the original style, I gradually adapted to the starting point style, adjusted in practice, and found the tone and feeling.

Let’s talk about this book now.

When Huo Feng first conceived of this book, he just planned to go back to the starting point and had no idea what subject to write about.

At that time, I was in a transitional period in my writing. It seemed that there were many choices at once, but they were all difficult.

In order to find inspiration, I looked for some classic theoretical books that I had read, such as McGee's "Story", such as Stephen King's autobiography, etc... and according to my habit, I wrote several story outlines every day. Some felt average, some felt

Some of them have highlights, but they are not suitable for me. Some stories are very explosive at the beginning. If you write them down, you will definitely get good results in the early stage, but you can’t imagine how you will write them later...

I wrote like this for a week, and wrote dozens of story outlines, and suddenly I was struck by inspiration (or rather struck by inspiration).

Suddenly it occurred to me, how about writing a story in which the protagonist is a corpse hunter?

Inexplicably, I felt very strongly about this idea, so I started writing it.

A lot of content is slowly conceived and adjusted during the writing process. For example, the protagonist is a corpse hunter, so what should be the background? Martial arts? It seems inappropriate. Pure fantasy world? It doesn’t seem to be good. What about Gao Wu? This

It seems possible.

Now that he has a background, he should have a sect behind him, right? The existence of a sect must have a basis for survival, right? This also requires a large social environment. How do they live and obtain resources? Are they charged for exorcising corpses in the world?

Interacting with Jianghu people? It seems good, let’s start...

In this way, the worldview is enriched little by little, and I gradually have better ideas. From the relatively few worldview ideas at the beginning, I have outlined a large world framework in my mind, a world that can be self-consistent and self-operating.

By now, Huo Feng has gradually become clearer about the story and has a complete grasp of the worldview setting. This world will be broader and deeper than what is currently shown, but he will not rush to reveal it all at once, but will slowly peel off the cocoons and follow the clues.

Uncover all kinds of secrets and mysteries.

This is the reason for writing this book.

When publishing the book, Huo Feng talked with the editor. The editor said that it would probably be relatively niche, but he might be more willing to write it. Huo Feng actually thought of it and accepted it.

In fact, Huo Feng's results at the foreign site are pretty good. The three books have an average price of 6,700, and the average price of one is 7,200. The best book has an average price of more than 9,700, which is close to 10,000 orders.

In fact, I made a lot of money, but I wasn’t very happy writing.

To a certain extent, Huo Feng knows how to write more profitably, and he also knows some effective techniques, but when he writes, he feels like he is really just a writing machine, which is too commercial.

This is not to criticize commercialization. After all, this is what professional writers have to learn, and it is understandable.

It's just that it's too commercialized, which can make people feel conflicted, and it can also cause a loss of professional enthusiasm.

Going back to the starting point, I also want to rediscover the passion for writing. This does not mean that I want to write a book that is very personal, but I want to find a balance between self-expression and making money to support myself.

Huo Feng is also slowly exploring, and there will definitely be some iterations and adjustments during the process, but after finding this balance point, the writing may be more comfortable and smooth, and the readers will also find it smoother and more comfortable.

Finally, let’s talk about the launch.

From the time the book was opened, anyone who pays close attention can tell that Huo Feng has never asked for votes or other data.

It’s not that I don’t want it, but I have some other opinions.

In fact, no matter which website it is on, Huo Feng doesn't ask for votes or data. Of course, he still wants it, but he has a belief that he believes in.

That is, when everyone reads a book, it is definitely not because the author failed miserably and cried and begged to subscribe, reward and vote, but because they think the story is very good and attractive, and are moved by something, or have a deeper understanding of the world view and plot.

I have expectations, I like the characters in a certain book... I will subscribe because of one or more of these reasons.

Is it useful for the author to beg to subscribe?

it works.

But if the book is not good-looking, you will lose what you asked for, and it will be a waste of readers and friends’ time and money.

Of course Huo Feng doesn’t want to block the way out, and I will ask for votes if I really need them, but usually I try to weaken my existence as an author and let readers make their own choices. If you think the book is good, just subscribe, and don’t force anything.

In fact, the market is always smarter than me, the author. If no one subscribes, it means my writing is not good. I will make adjustments myself. It is boring to blame others.

It doesn’t matter if you don’t want to order it for the time being. It may be because the book is not long enough, the world view has not been expanded, and it is not fat enough to kill you. Then wait until the book is longer. If you see it again on the starting point recommendation, if you are still interested, then

Click to open, you are always welcome.

The number of updates after it is put on the shelves will increase, about 6,000-8,000 words per day, mainly depending on physical condition. Currently, there are only zero manuscripts saved, and I will try my best to save more while maintaining updates.

The update time will also be advanced, with one update from 7 to 9 o'clock every day, one update at noon, and if there is still status, there will be one update from 17.00 to 19.00 in the evening.

Due to some factors, most of the chapters are 2,000 words long. After being put on the shelves, the chapters will be larger to fully accommodate some content and to be more suitable for stretching some emotions.

What I want to express is probably the above.

The last thing I want to say is to write a book for Huo Feng, but how far this book can go depends on everyone’s support.

Huo Feng will do his best and leave the rest to everyone.
