Chapter Forty-Nine Endless Corridor

Richard immediately heard an indescribable huge heartbeat. His three hearts were pulsating at the same rhythm as the sound, making him feel indescribable.

Suddenly there was a violent shock in the corridor. Tiramisu jumped out of the passage. The ogre lord waved his heavy hammer and smashed all the little demons that were about to pounce on Richard into meat sauce. Then he said, "Boss, why are you in a daze?"

"Didn't you hear your heartbeat?"

Hearing Richard's question, Tiramisu was confused on both faces: "There is no heartbeat, it's these little demons that are making noise here."

"You didn't hear it." Richard asked again, and immediately fell into deep thought after receiving a confirmed reply from both heads.

The construction knights, followers and frost warriors kept rushing into the corridor from the passage, and they quickly built a line of defense to block the tide-like little demons outside.

The wide corridor allows Tiramisu to fight comfortably, but strangely, behind Richard, the end of the corridor cannot be seen, and the little demons are constantly gushing out from the front, with more and more numbers, and in a blink of an eye it is thousands of.

Although their individual strength is not strong, they are too numerous to attack. Even the front-line knights could not resist and slowly retreated.

The ground of the corridor was soon covered with the corpses of the little demons, and the new little demon stepped on the corpses of his companions and launched a condescending attack. For a moment, Richard, a powerful army that was enough to sweep Faro, was unstable and forced to retreat step by step.

At this time, Asiris came to Richard and said anxiously: "Your Highness, this is the endless corridor of the abyss. It is actually connected to a certain layer of abyss, so in a sense we are now fighting the demons of the entire abyss."

Richard did not rush to make a decision to reinforce or retreat, but observed carefully.

In this way, his real vision immediately penetrated the fog and noticed the abnormal movement. The demon reliefs on the walls of the corridor were actually moving at this moment. Once the space appeared in the endless corridor, a group of little demons would jump out and fill the space. On the walls of the corridor, whenever the little demon jumped out, Richard would feel the rich fluctuations in space.

It seems Assiris is right that the Endless Promenade is indeed connected to the Abyss in some way.

Richard's face froze and asked, "Will there be a big demon or even a demon lord appear?"

"That won't be. The Endless Corridor is not a plane teleportation channel. It is a means used by the abyss to connect certain secret realms or specific spaces. At most one or two big demons appear occasionally. This Endless Corridor is located in a plane of the level of Farrow. Even big demons will not appear. At most, they are intermediate demons."

"How to get through that."

Asiris pointed to the direction where the little demon came and said, "That's our direction. As long as you walk along the corridor and pass through enough distance, you will naturally reach the exit at the end."

Richard looked behind him and frowned, "What about behind us."

"That direction is endless, it will only be further and further away from the real exit."

At this moment, Richard's entire army was pushed back slowly by the little demons. The construction knights and the frost warriors had no casualties. They fought alternately, guarding the entire defense line tightly, and the followers stood behind the defense line, waiting to kill the demons who had missed the net.

This is the style of Richard's army. He paid special attention to preventing unnecessary casualties. But now the front is retreating, and the little demons seem to be endless. No matter how many killings there are, they will be filled with the same number. It has to be said that this situation will hit the morale the most, and the battle that cannot be seen at the end will numb the strongest warriors.

Clark completed the spell at this time. With his shout, a black light suddenly appeared above the little demons' heads. Among the black light, Clark's shout was amplified thousands of times. Hundreds of little demons within a range of more than ten meters were unable to stand firmly, and their souls were actually shaken out of their bodies and then shattered.

This is the divine magic version of the law of death, which is extremely powerful, and it eliminates more than 300 small demons in an instant, but more small demons come, and in a blink of an eye it fills the blank that finally appears.

Clark's face looked ugly and he did not use the law to die again. This is a level nine magic technique. With his current ability, he can only use it three times. However, the priest was not a magician after all, so he used all his divine power to save people.

Richard stopped his eager followers and walked towards the direction where the little demons came. After constructing the front line of knights, he took off the Book of Destruction and was about to turn to the page of Bloody Arbitration.

On such a narrow front that is only a few dozen meters wide, an ordinary blood-colored arbitration is enough to maintain the entire battlefield. If you summon it in turn, you can maintain the front line from retreating.

The Book of Destruction absorbed the magic power input by Richard. The pages quickly flipped, and the images flashed on them. Richard suddenly caught a glimpse of the strange tetrahedron. For some reason, a chill broke out in his heart again.

After a little hesitation, Richard turned the Book of Destruction back to the page where the tetrahedron was stored, and then entered magic.

Even Richard himself didn't know why he summoned it, nor did he know what kind of reaction he would have when summoned. He just vaguely felt that this time's experience was different from the last time.

It was also the intuition of fate, Richard was not sure.

Four dots of light flew out from the Book of Destruction and floated above the passage, then they were connected in two lines. After the light shone, the mysterious luminous tetrahedron appeared again.

In the dark, Richard suddenly felt a ray of thought coming from this mysterious tetrahedron, as if asking for an order.

Richard glanced at the endless little demons and responded: "Kill them all."

This is an almost impossible order, and even Richard himself is not sure whether it can be done. Theoretically, there are always limits on the small demons in an area in the abyss, but no one can tell how many of them are.

After receiving Richard's order, the tetrahedron began to shine, and a continuous stream of hot light was emitted from each of the four apexes.

The four hot rays of light have unimaginable high temperatures. When they shine on the walls of the passage, a deep cut will be immediately drawn. When they pass by the little demons, they will silently cut the little demons into half like a hot dinner knife cutting cream.

The four lights swung irregularly, but turned all the places they passed into a slaughterhouse. Whenever a ray of light passed by the group of small demons, dozens of small demons would be cut open immediately without blood and flesh. The cut wounds were neat and smooth mirrors, but this was not the end, but just the beginning of destruction.

The tetrahedron suddenly began to rotate.

Its rolling is completely irregular, and the swing of the four destruction beams is also irregular. When the spiral and rapid swing are combined, in the eyes of everyone, the four destruction beams are woven into a net, and within dozens of meters around the tetrahedron, there are no dead corners, all of which are destructive kingdoms.

The spiraling tetrahedron transformed into a huge ball of light, and began to move with a buzzing sound, then flew towards the depths of the endless corridor, flying faster and faster, and in a blink of an eye, it passed the corner and disappeared into the depths of the corridor.

The endless corridor suddenly became quiet, a bit terrible. The noise and clamor that the little demons could make people crazy disappeared, and disappeared completely.

The knights in the construction were still fighting with a shield and holding a sword, but all the enemies in front of the sword were gone. They looked ahead in shock, almost unable to believe their eyes.

A thick layer of small demons was laid on the ground of the endless corridor. To be precise, they were fragments of the small demons. The four rapidly dancing destruction beams were like the four sharpest cutters, cutting each small demon in the passage into dozens of pieces.

The four walls of the corridor were also covered with dense deep marks, which made people tremble. At this time, the walls of the corridor began to wriggle, constantly secreting dark juice, repairing the damage to the wall.

When each wound is closed, it will make a whimpering sound, as if something is crying in pain. At least now, it will never dare to release the little demon again.

As a result, Richard himself was shocked, but he was the first to come back to his senses, pointed to the depths of the corridor, and said, "Let's go forward."

The thick corpses could not be cleaned one by one. The knights of the construction simply used heavy shields as shovels to push the corpses of the little demon to both sides of the passage, and then they cleared a road.

As he gradually deepened, the corpses of the little demons in the passage began to become sparse and finally disappeared. However, Richard probably had tens of thousands of corpses just seen.

The mysterious tetrahedron disappeared at some point.

Richard opened the Book of Destruction again and saw a tetrahedron appearing on the page. This time it was much lighter, just a phantom. Richard tried to input the power of the real name of destruction into it, and the tetrahedron in the page became clearer again and rotated itself again.

Its power is so great that Richard is not sure if he can control it, and until now, Richard has no idea what it is.

But now is not the time to dig into this matter. Richard put away the Book of Destruction, speeded up and ran towards the depths of the endless corridor.

Perhaps it was hurt by the destruction beam of the tetrahedron. This time, the Endless Corridor was surprisingly honest. No little demons appeared again, and even quietly shortened the distance. Richard only walked less than one-third of the expected journey and stood in front of the ancient bronze gate.

Several knights of the structure stepped forward, worked together, and pushed open the heavy door with great force, revealing the extremely magnificent hall behind the door.

When Richard stepped in, a thunderous roar of anger sounded from the hall: "Who is so bold that he dares to disturb me, the peace of the great Lord of the Abyss,"

Richard was not scared by the loud voice at all. He walked straight to the center of the hall, waved his hand, and followed the followers and the knights in a row, forming a battle formation around Richard.

The last person to enter the hall was Tiramisu. The ogre lord raised his big feet and kicked off the two bronze giant doors in a row. The meaning was very obvious, just to prevent someone from breaking the way out.
