One hundred and forty-six: Dispute

After a hurry to meet Xu Yingqiu, Li Chan left the old imperial city. The Yuan Dynasty ceremony had ended, and it was still lively outside the palace city. Li Chan found Du Jinyou in front of the horse-drawn monument, passed through the streets and returned to the horse in Xuandu Post. He ate a bowl of mutton soup in the restaurant near Xuandu Post, and said goodbye to Du Jinyou. When he returned to Luming Mountain, it was already dark.

There were still lights in the school camps, and there were many scholars who were studying at night. Not only students, but also the lecturers in the academy were also reading scriptures, and Cui Hanzhen was also among them. Cui Shun was stubborn. When he was in the school, if he was willing to retreat to the second best, it would not be difficult to worship a certain remote temple. However, he would rather go back to Xuanming Temple and come to Luming Academy to study scriptures while teaching. He still refused to give up his thoughts of worshiping in Qianyuan Academy.

Half of the lamp oil was burned, Cui Hanzhen's eyes began to become astringent. At this time, there happened to be a scripture that made him vaguely remember a certain allusion, but he couldn't remember which one it was. So he put down the scriptures, turned off the oil lamp, set up the lanterns, went out to the east, and prepared to go to the bookstore to read the bamboo slips.

As soon as he left the academy gate, Cui Hanzhen saw a figure of a lantern walking on the stone brick road in the west wall of Xuanming Temple. The person who brought the lantern was obviously from the old school in the west. Cui Hanzhen saw the face reflected by the lights, and the name "Li Dan" appeared in his heart.

At noon, Cui Hanzhen went to Qingxin West Courtyard and lost everything. He did not see Li Dan. At dusk, he called Liu Jian again. After confirming that the student was no longer shaken, he threw this matter behind his mind for the time being, and did not expect to go to Qingxin Courtyard to go to Qingxin Courtyard for another time.

At this time, I met on the road, but Cui Hanzhen didn't mind talking to this person. He turned around and walked towards the old school. When he saw the lantern in front step on the gate of Qingxinyuan, Cui Hanzhen further confirmed the identity of this person and called out: "Is the one in front Li Dan?"

Li Chan turned around in front of the steps and saw a long-bearded middle-aged man wearing a black robe, which was the usual clothing for Lu Ming Academy to speak. He hesitated and said, "It's me, who is this gentleman?"

In Qingxin East Courtyard, Liu Jianzheng lifted the head of the water tank and scooped out a gourd. He heard two sounds outside the courtyard, one in front and one behind, and was stunned for a moment. The gourd fell into the tank, causing the wood lotus on the water to sway left and right.

Liu Jian came to his senses and another sound came from outside.

"Cui Hanzhen."

"It turns out that it's Cui Shu."

"What's the matter with Cui Shanshu looking for me? The road outside is dark, why not come in and sit down?"

"It's not important, so I won't bother you anymore. I just have a saying to remind you."

At the stairs, Cui Hanzhen had a face, and he saw that the person who came was not good. Li Chan frowned slightly. The way this lecture was like a provoking a criminal, it really made people feel bad about him. But just frowned, Li Chan said, "It's okay to talk."

At this time, Liu Jian hurried out of the yard and saw the two people confronting each other in front of the steps.

"You're here just in time." Cui Hanzhen did not intend to make Liu Jian embarrassed, but since all three of them were present, he would no longer care about this floor and said bluntly: "Liu Jian, what has this hospital taught you, please tell me again."

Not far away, several scholars living in the old school heard the movement and went out to watch with lanterns. When they saw it was Cui Hanzhen, the scholars knew that there was a good show. Cui Shu was as straight as a ruler. If anyone was disliked, they would have to argue with each other. Even the viewer Sun Jingran had a few times quarreled with him in public. Li Dan, who was in Qingxin West Courtyard, had only been here for less than a month, and always came alone and had little social interaction. I don’t know why he offended Cui Jiezhi because of something.

Liu Jian had already owed Li Chan the kindness of guidance, but it caused Li Chan a lot of shame. At the moment, the straightforward Cui Xueshe was on the fire, and he couldn't help but blush with an anxious face. But he didn't know how to explain it for a moment, and just squeezed out a sentence from his throat: "Two, I have a misunderstanding... a misunderstanding..."

Seeing this scene, Li Chan knew Cui Han's intention to come. He originally saw that Liu Jian was enthusiastic and had a good personality, so he helped Liu Jian, but he didn't expect that this would cause trouble. No need to think that Cui Jian was here to blame him for interfering in the affairs. He smiled and said, "So Cui Jian came to thank me, but I also saw that no one in the academy solved his boxing problem for Liu Jian, so he helped him. How could he do it casually? How could Cui Jian come here to come and go in person?"

Most of the scholars in the old school respect Cui Hanzhen from the bottom of their hearts, but this scholars were usually too strict in their lectures. When they heard someone sarcastic sarcasm in person, they felt inexplicably happy.

Cui Hanzhen's expression was stagnant when he heard Li Chan's words. Although he blamed Li Chan for misleading his children, Li Chan taught Liu Jian to correct the method of practicing Qi and allowed Liu Jian to unblock the Qi veins, which was a foregone conclusion. He snorted coldly: "Let's not mention this matter, I'm here to ask you, are you teaching people to delete and modify scriptures?"

As soon as Cui Hanzhen said this, the old school shouted softly. The scholars were the same as Liu Jian a few days ago, and they all felt that deleting and revising scriptures was disrespectful.

Li Chan said: "Cui's words are serious. He just simplifies the complexity when reading it. He doesn't really want to change the scriptures to pass on the world."

"I'm not arrogant!" Cui Hanzhen said sternly, "The Taoist scriptures have a subtle meaning. Every word needs to be repeatedly pondered. When we read the scriptures, we must be trembling and walking on thin ice. How dare we simplify the complexity? Besides, if you go astray by reading the scriptures yourself, it's fine, how dare you teach others with the left-handed Taoism? If you destroy the heart of others and cut off the path of others' Taoism, how can you afford it?"

Li Chan smiled, "I was wrong in reading the scriptures. Did Cui read the book correctly? How can I prove it? You can't just rely on Cui's eloquence to be able to dominate the black and white."

As a lecturer, Cui Hanzhen only has only students who listen to him. When he is rarely refuted, he immediately becomes a little angry and said in a deep voice: "Who is there anyone in the world who disrespects the scriptures?"

Li Chan knew that there would be no result if he continued to debate with Cui Hanzhen. Perhaps because Li Chan was a visitor from outside the realm, in his eyes, the Taoist sages were smart people among practitioners, just as Shi Jun said. But no matter how smart a smart person was, he was still a human being, not a clay sculpture in the temple, with a heavenly constitution in his mouth and a law that followed. In the Dayong Kingdom, most Taoists wanted to worship Taoist sages as clay sculptures to worship. The predecessors imitated the heaven and earth, passed down scriptures, and later generations learned scriptures and imitated clay sculptures in the temple. Although the threshold for learning Taoism was low, it was easy to deviate from their original intentions.

Although Li Chan thought so, he knew that it was useless to say more. The idea that the people of Dayong people were influenced by them since childhood was not something he could turn around, so he said, "Cui Shu was too biased to say this. What is respect and what is disrespectful? It is not difficult to explain it clearly. But if you talk about it again, you may not be able to make it clear all night. The so-called willows are everywhere and can beat the horses, and every family has a way to Xuandu. I can't control how Cui Shu reads the scriptures. How I read the scriptures has nothing to do with Cui Shu."

Cui Hanzhen shook his head and said, "This is a bad word! Although all things are united, life is short. If you go astray, when you wake up, you will often be in a hurry. Only by following the right path can you seek progress steadily, and even the name of Ji Shangqing is clear and your body is falling!"

When he said this, Cui Hanzhen raised his voice. He had already discovered that there were students from the old school around him and took this opportunity to explain the truth clearly and look at the hearing.

Although Cui Jieshu was so powerful that he did not think about it, he decided to die of the word "right way". Li Chan shook his head and smiled, knowing that if he continued to talk, there would be no result. "Cuie Jieshu's words are reasonable. Let's stop here for the conversation tonight. I'll go back to my room to rest first."

Cui Hanzhen said: "Talking people with the right way is to mislead people's children. I hope that they will not do this again."

"I dare not, I dare not."
