Chapter 1174 Retreat turns out to be forward
Maitreya Buddha was slightly stunned and faintly discovered that the Buddhist intention seemed to be clear about his own practice, and he couldn't help but feel very happy.
You should know that the principles of all things in the universe are constantly developing and advancing. Even Buddhism and Taoism are constantly pursuing the ultimate truth of enlightenment. Even those who are as great as Maitreya Buddha and who have fully realized must constantly understand the truth.
Now the enlightenment of the Buddhas in Lingshan is still in the "very profound Prajna, one-step samadhi, who is chanting the Buddha's name" about how to spread the Dharma.
It was necessary to obtain Xuanzang's Buddhist scriptures, and after going through twists and turns, but ascend to the front of the palace, the Buddhas gradually realized the truth that "no form is the body, no dwelling is the foundation, and no thought is the sect."
At this time, Changtingzi seemed to believe it or not, and asked, "How can he be considered as without Buddha? How do you know the method of Zen practice?"
Chen Zhao laughed and said, "I have no Buddha or Dharma here. Tathagata is an old man, the tenth stage Bodhisattva is a man carrying man, the second enlightenment of the wonderful and wonderful ordinary people breaking the precepts, Bodhi Nirvana is a donkey siege, and the twelve parts of the teachings are ghost books."
Changtingzi was slightly surprised, "Why is Your Majesty so rude to me Buddha?"
Although he said this, he did not have much blame in his tone. He seemed to have some understanding of Chen Zhao's words, but it was not very clear.
Chen Zhao continued: "Shaka was born, and he pointed to the sky with one hand and the earth with the other hand. He walked seven steps around and looked at the clouds in all directions. I am the only one in the world. If I saw him at that time, he would kill him with a stick and eat him with a dog, and he would be able to achieve peace in the world."
Changtingzi's body shook, and his face showed a feeling of joy and distress. He seemed to understand Chen Zhao's words, but he always seemed to be a little short of that.
Seeing this, Chen Zhao sighed: "Anything that has appearances is false!"
He said this, and the monk opposite suddenly felt distressed and happy, he gently patted his belly, laughed loudly, and wrote a verse: "A big belly can accommodate things that are difficult to tolerate in the world; laugh at the ridiculous people in the world."
Chen Zhao laughed loudly and held hands slightly at Changtingzi: "Congratulations to the Buddha for going further."
Changtingzi smiled with his face, bare chest and abdomen, sitting cross-legged with a cushion, smiling with a smile, ignoring Chen Zhao, and chanting a poem: "I want to cross the emperor to enter the Buddha's fate, but I look up but see the sky on the top of the tower. I scolded the Buddha and scolded the ancestor to achieve enlightenment. I retreated and turned forward."
After reading this limerick, I laughed and clapped my hands, and said with a smile: "Yes! That's it! Go and have a break! Go and have a break!"
He did not return the gift, but Chen Zhao replied, "You are polite to Buddha!"
After saying that, Chen Zhao turned around and left the tower.
On the second day, Changtingzi left Jinghuang Temple, clapped his hands and sang, and headed west, missing.
At this time, the Ming Dynasty was the same as the Sui and Tang Dynasties. Although Zen Buddhism emerged, it was still very different from the later Chinese Zen studies.
For China, until after the Sixth Patriarch Huineng, the Buddhists scolded the Buddha and cursed the ancestors, pursuing the true nature of their nature, so that their body and mind are free from great constraints, understand their minds and nature, and become enlightened and liberated.
Although the Buddhas on Lingshan are profound in Buddhism, they are still in a state of diligent practice when preaching the Dharma and enlightening the Tao. What Chen Zhao said to Maitreya Buddha's mortal body were two famous crazy words in the later Crazy Zen case. These are not crazy words of a madman, but the "unspecified" aphorism of the Buddhist Heart Sect to remove inherent prejudices.
Remind the world: Anyone with appearance is false. Even if it is a classic Buddha statue, a saint or a wise man, it will all be born and destroyed, and it is not a normal way of truth.
After Maitreya Buddha realized his enlightenment, he immediately understood that Chen Zhao's Buddhist principles were profound and not the demon that destroyed the Buddha. However, his Buddhist principles could establish sects in Buddhism and become a ancestral sect. Just one sentence would be enough to be the right Buddha.
At this point, he has already been side by side with the great saints of the Immortal World who were hidden in Xiniu Hezhou, Zhen Yuanzi and other ones. It is better to see him outside the Buddha to express my true meaning.
After the holy monk Changtingzi left, Jinghuang Temple seemed to have lost everyone's protection.
Especially this temple, which is decorated with golden Buddha and consumes money. There is only the magnificence of the Buddhist temple in its eyes, but it lacks the compassion of the Buddha. It only worships Buddha, does not seek himself, and goes through evil paths without knowing it. It is forgotten that the fundamental reason for practicing Buddha is to escape the sea of suffering and enter into nirvana. This external thing is worse than nothing.
As soon as Changtingzi left, the great fortune that enveloped Jinghuang Temple suddenly dissipated. Although many monks in Jingfo Temple made friends with the powerful and even several old monks often chatted and laughed with the Supreme King, it was not difficult for Chen Zhao to deal with it at all.
Chen Zhao returned to the palace and gave an order. He had already been a bit stalemate and there was no resistance to the land of the Buddhist temple.
In the name of "a Buddhist disciple, who is compassionate and requires great disaster victims, urgently needing support from all over the country", Chen Zhao took out as much as 90% of the kuyin in the temple for ten years to serve as military funds.
The powerful and powerful people in the Ming Dynasty immediately understood the emperor's meaning. Who is really good to Buddhism and can't even hide at this time.
Therefore, governments at all levels dispatched everywhere to investigate the property of the temple under their rule, and the Ming Dynasty treasury made a fierce decision.
After dealing with all the temples in the Ming Dynasty, ninety percent of monks returned to secular life, and implementing the law that all religious places must pay taxes according to law, a year has passed.
At this time, the wedding team of Princess Huainan escorted by Li Daozong, the King of Jiangxia of the Tang Dynasty, arrived in Zhuzicheng. Chen Zhao received Li Daozong and his party with the most solemn etiquette, and then married Princess Huainan Li Chengxia according to the Tang Dynasty and named him the Empress of the Jinsheng Palace.
It turns out that after King Xiniu Hezhou, they were all called the Zhenggong, the East Palace, and the West Palace. In the Ming Dynasty, the Zhenggong was called the Jinsheng Palace, the East Palace was called the Jadesheng Palace, and the West Palace was called the Yinsheng Palace.
Today, Jinsheng Palace is the eldest princess of Huainan of the Tang Dynasty, and Yinsheng Palace and Yusheng Palace are all daughters of the nobles of their own country.
Li Chengxia, the Jinsheng Palace, was born with a noble birth, beautiful and generous, and virtuous. In the Ming Dynasty, she was almost as good as her sister-in-law, Empress Changsun. Although Chen Zhao married her because of a political marriage, she became more and more obedient to him after a long time of fighting.
Time passed slowly. On this day, the Guanyin Temple in Putuo Mountain, South China Sea. On this day, I don’t know whether the dragon girl was negligent or the guardian was dizzy. She actually threw a fairy pill in front of Guanyin’s mount, the golden-haired wand...
It has to be said that compared with the Ming Dynasty, which relied solely on military unity, the civilization of the Tang Dynasty in the Middle Land Kingdom was more advanced and prosperous.
This time, Princess Huainan entered the Ming Dynasty to marry and brought an extremely rich "doll". In addition to various treasures and gold and jade ornaments, there were also 36,000 volumes of various classics, 3,000 kinds of creation and technical works, 500 kinds of prescriptions for curing diseases, ten medical treatises, fifteen kinds of diagnostic methods, and ten kinds of medical devices. In addition, they also brought a large amount of seeds of various crops.
But these only account for a small part of it.
In order to completely sinicize the Ming Dynasty so that he can be famous for all ages, Li Shimin also delayed Chen Zhao's hands and feet, so that he could calmly launch an attack on the Northern Silk Road, and arranged the population of the Ming Dynasty in the name of dowry, which can be said to have made a huge sum of money.
There were 10,000 agricultural technicians of all kinds, 10,000 craftsmen of all kinds, and 5,000 scribes of all kinds, and 5,000 officials. In addition, there were 40,000 soldiers, maids and related family members who served the Princess of Huainan.
With these talents and equipment, they brought advanced production technology to the Ming Dynasty and promoted the development and progress of the economic and cultural development of the Ming Dynasty. Agricultural technicians sowed the grain seeds brought from the Tang Dynasty on the fertile soil of the plateau, and then carefully irrigated, fertilized, and weeded, which brought about a bumper harvest and high yield, which made the Ming Dynasty's agricultural production technology make great progress.
Especially after passing the technique of planting mulberry silkworms to the residents of the Ming Dynasty, the Ming Dynasty gradually developed homemade silk fabrics, with fine luster and rich colors. The Tang Dynasty's milling, textile, pottery, papermaking, winemaking and other processes were successively passed to the Ming Dynasty, greatly improving the lives of the Tubo people.
The scholars of the Tang Dynasty helped organize relevant documents from the Ming Dynasty and taught ministers and nobles to learn advanced Han culture.
After Chen Zhao showed great determination to become sinic and took the lead in wearing silk and silk, the nobles and people at all levels of the Ming Dynasty began to accept and absorb the culture of the Tang Dynasty.
In order to better sinicize the Ming Dynasty, Chen Zhao sent nearly 10,000 noble children, and carefully selected 30,000 children of ordinary people to help them study the Tang Dynasty's Chinese studies in Chang'an at public expense.
The poems, agricultural books, Buddhist scriptures, historical books, medical scriptures, calendars and other classics brought by Princess Huainan promoted the development of Tubo's economy and culture.
Because of the interaction between Chen Zhao and Li Shimin, the Tang and Ming dynasties had never started war for more than 200 years, and envoys and merchants frequently exchanged, and the relationship between the Central Plains and the Ming Dynasty was extremely friendly.
More than a hundred years later, although the Ming Dynasty and the Tang Dynasty belonged to two countries, their culture and bloodline were no different. The Ming people even regarded themselves as China and regarded other countries in Xiniu Hezhou as barbarians. A folk envoy among the Ming people created beautiful and moving poems based on folk legends to praise the outstanding contributions made by the Huainan Princess to the development of the Ming Dynasty:
Princess Huainan from the Central Plains,
It brought 3,800 kinds of food,
It laid a solid foundation for the Daming Grain Depot,
Princess Huainan from the Central Plains,
5,500 craftsmen who brought various craftsmen,
It opened the door to development for the Ming craftsmanship,
Princess Huainan from the Central Plains,
Bringed 5,500 literary and artistic classics,
Taking the poems and melodies of the Ming Dynasty to a higher level.
...
Of course, this is a later story.
It is said that the eldest princess of Huainan married for three years, and the Ming Dynasty's economy has reached several steps in a row, and the Ming Dynasty has also become the richest and most powerful country in Xiniu Hezhou.
Of course, Buddhism in this country is not prosperous.
On this Dragon Boat Festival, Chen Zhao and several concubines took their concubines to remove rice dumplings and wormwood under the sea pudding pavilion in the Imperial Garden, drank calamus realgar wine, and watched dragon boat fighting.
Suddenly, a gust of black wind blew and the entire palace suddenly became dark.
"What's going on? Why is it dark?" Li Chengxia, a little stunned by the Jinsheng Palace, couldn't help but say.
"Maybe the weather changes, it will probably pass in a while." Chen Zhao didn't care.
"This sudden change in the sky in broad daylight, no monsters will appear, right?" The Queen of Silver Holy Palace said in panic.
"Sister is ridiculous in speaking. Your Majesty is extremely brave and powerful. There are monsters there who dare to cause trouble?" Yu Shenggong smiled pursed.
