12, Chapter Twelve(1/2)

Another heavy snow has just stopped.

Morning light enters the window.

The cold water in the basin reflects the face.

After putting down the knife that was scraping his chin, Fu Ting touched the neck. The wound was hard and had scabbed.

He lowered his head, tidied up his military uniform, and sat down at the desk.

Someone walked in outside the door and he looked over.

It was not Qi Chi who came to change his medicine, but just a servant who came in to deliver breakfast food.

He looked outside the door again and it had already lighted up for a while. He had already left the mansion and entered the camp at this time.

Today, I am still sitting here.

The corner of his mouth moved and he felt funny.

Even when I came back from the day when I saw her coming to apply medicine and change the medicine every day, could I still develop the habit?

Thinking of this, he immediately got up and went to get the whip.

Walking out of the backyard, I ran into Luo Xiaoyi head-on.

"Stern brother, don't leave first," he came in a hurry and reached out to stop him: "I have something good to tell you."

Futing stopped.

...

Qichi got up late today.

She thought that the man should have left, but when she walked outside the study, she saw that the door was open.

He held the hem of his clothes and stepped in. The man inside immediately turned his head and looked over.

Luo Xiaoyi was standing next to him.

She glanced at it and turned around: "I think you have something to say, I'll avoid it first."

Luo Xiaoyi hurriedly said, "My sister-in-law is from my third brother's house, so there is no need to avoid it. Staying there is no problem."

Qichi looked at Fu Ting, and he stood there neatly in his military uniform, his eyes still on her, and he said nothing about it.

She just walked in as he agreed.

When she was about to pass by him, she stood on tiptoe and looked at the wound on his neck.

New meat has grown in the worst part of the injury, shining red, obviously it is about to heal.

She thought to herself, and it seemed that she was not needed.

By the way, I put away the new paste I brought in my hand.

He seemed to notice it and turned his head to her.

She had walked away two steps, lowered her clothes, and sat down on the desk.

Fu Ting turned to see Luo Xiaoyi.

Before he could ask questions, Luo Xiaoyi called out first.

A soldier under him came in with a box, put it on the table and then left.

Fu Ting glanced at him and asked, "What's this?"

Luo Xiaoyi lifted it up with one hand and showed it to him: "The third brother can see clearly, it's flying money."

Fu Ting looked down, reached in with one hand, flipped over, it was indeed a flying money, and it was a thick stack.

These are all vouchers, and you can use these to get cash.

Not a small number.

He raised his eyes and asked, "Where did it come from?"

Luo Xiaoyi said: "The refugees outside the city rushed into a lot of business when they started a chaos. I sent someone to stabilize it and stayed for a few days. Now the business of those merchants is smooth and I feel grateful. They voluntarily took out the money as military pay."

Fu Ting frowned and didn't say anything.

Luo Xiaoyi did not see him responding and said, "What are the third brother thinking? We are missing these and making up for the loopholes. Wouldn't this money come just right?"

Then Fu Ting spoke: "I have never seen such a good thing."

How could a businessman pay voluntarily if he pays money?

Luo Xiaoyi was stunned and reacted quickly, and immediately said, "But they just paid more taxes. The North has not yet fully recovered. Only these merchants have the spare money. They spend money to strengthen the army to ensure their own safety. It is common sense."

After saying that, he quietly took a look at his sister-in-law.

He complained to his third brother in his heart: Of course, there would be no such good thing, it's not thanks to you who married a good woman.

Qi Chi sat and picked up an orange from the lacquer dish on his desk.

She transported the orange from the south at a high price, just because Li Yan wanted to eat it with greed.

He specially asked Xinlu to send some to the study, but the man has not moved any of them yet.

She slowly peeled the oranges with her fingers, as if she didn't hear what they were saying.

Fu Ting pressed his hand on his waist, stared at the box, and walked slowly.

He has been walking to this day all the way, and he has never believed in any luck.

If you keep the big good things in front of you today, it is not surprising that it is fake.

Luo Xiaoyi kept observing his expression and glanced at his sister-in-law again, but when she saw that she was just coming in and listening, she ignored her. She had no choice but to say helplessly, and said, "Anyway, I have agreed to accept it, and my third brother can't help if he doesn't want it."

Fu Ting looked down and raised his eyes and said, "Then what else are you talking to me?"

Luo Xiaoyi smiled: "The third brother is a great gubernatorial master, so I won't tell you whom I will talk to."

After saying that, he said to the desk chair, "I'll laugh at my sister-in-law."

Qichi pinched the orange and raised his head: "I didn't care what you said."

Luo Xiaoyi smiled and said, "Yes, these military affairs are very boring. My sister-in-law doesn't need to care. She just thinks that I'm joking with my third brother."

After the two of them finished politely as if they were talking to each other, he glanced at Fu Ting: "Secret brother and sister-in-law, I'll wait for you outside."

After saying that, he turned around and went out.

Anyway, the box is left behind.

It was not until this time that Fu Ting looked back.

She just sat there peeling oranges, and couldn't tell if she really didn't care.

He thought maybe he shouldn't say in front of her that she would know the situation in the army, and what light was there on his face.

The orange that Qichi held in his hand pressed against his lips, looked up and saw him looking at him and put it down.

"I just saw that you were hurt so much," she said.

Fu Ting touched his neck and said, "It's scabbed."

She stood up and knew he should leave, so she walked to him and stuffed it to his waist with a horse whip beside her.

Futing lowered his head and watched her reaching her hand on his waist and stuffing a horse whip.

The belt was tight, and she used both hands to stuff it in, pressing her fingers tightly into his waist.

He smelled the familiar fragrance between her hair again, and his eyes moved, and saw her snow-white neck.

"Then I don't have to come here every day sooner or later," she suddenly said.

Fu Ting recalled that what she said was the injury.

The woman in front of her suddenly raised her head, with a faint smile in her eyes: "It seems like she is getting used to it, I wonder if you are used to it."

His lips were pursed.

She looked at her and unconsciously wanted to answer.

Looking back on the past, it seems like I am really used to it.

But she seemed to not care, took her hand away and said, "Okay, let's go."

Fu Ting's hand stuffed the horse whip again on his waist, as if the soft and soft touch was still there.

He moved his feet after realizing that he seemed to have been watching her for too long.

"Wait." Qi Chi called him.

Fu Ting turned around and saw her pointing at the box on the table: "I don't want the money anymore."

He went over and took it, held it with an arm, walked to the door, stopped and turned around, looking at her: "Don't you care?"

He was asking her about the previous words.

Qichi met his eyes, and he stood there with a tall and handsome face, his eyes darker than ordinary people, and it fell on her and it was deep and heavy.

Unconsciously, she felt a sense of excitement, and she took her eyes away, and held her fingers at her cuffs: "Yeah."
