31, Chapter Thirty-One(1/2)

Qichi has never ridden a horse so fast.

I rushed through the bumpy fields and arrived near the foot of the mountain, but I didn't see Li Yan.

The hat on her head was blown off by the wind and she couldn't care about it. She turned around and saw that the mountain was blocked by the dust and smoke that fell and could not see clearly.

Everyone was in chaos and ran towards her.

Only she, against the crowd, called over and over again: "A Yan!"

A horse came from behind, and as soon as she turned around, Fu Ting grabbed her wrist.

"Down." He stared at her in a deep voice.

Qi Chi calmed down and gasped for a moment and said, "I can't let something happen to A Yan, he is my only relative."

His eyes staring at her lowered a little further, and his cheeks tensed.

She saw clearly, reached out with her other hand and held the hand he grabbed her: "I know it's inappropriate. Just ask me to search nearby. He was entrusted to me by my brother. I can't let my brother down."

A few words were spoken urgently and quickly, and his tone was soft, as if he was begging him.

Fu Ting looked at her white face, her hair was shattered by the wind on her temples.

At this moment, she was even considered in dismay.

It reminded him of the glance he saw when King Light passed away, her eyes closed and her tears were shedding.

He pursed his lips, stepped on his legs, got off the horse's back, grabbed her hand and pulled it hard, and hugged her without saying a word.

Qi Chi didn't expect that the man would be so powerful. He felt anxious and struggled for a moment, pushing him with his hands: "Is it okay to find my own nephew?"

Fu Ting held his arm: "I'll find it for you!"

Qichi was held tightly in his arms, unable to move, and looked up at his face.

He said in a deep voice: "I will help you find it, even if you dig three feet into the ground, you will definitely find it back."

In one sentence, it makes a sound.

Qichi's eyes moved and nodded.

It was probably because of his tone that calmed her down.

Fu Ting let her go, preventing her from running around again. He grabbed her hand with one hand and tightly clamped her five fingers: "Go."

Qichi was pulled out by him.

Most of the people ran away when they saw something wrong.

The bottom of the mountain was in a mess, with plowing carts and farm tools scattered, and even rag shoes stained with mud.

The rolling soil and rocks buried the fields and the mountain road was isolated for a section.

Fu Ting quickly gathered around him, and he moved quickly. He had searched around him and was here to report the news.

"Reported to the Great Protector, there are currently no injuries."

Hearing Wu Lie, he glanced at Qi Chi: "Find out the Prince of King Guang."

The guards took the order to disperse.

Qi Chi's face calmed down a little. As long as Li Yan's life is worry-free, everything else is easy to say.

But I was afraid that bad news would be sent in the next moment, and my eyebrows eased and condensed.

There are still rocks falling down the mountain, rolling straight to the feet, bringing dust out of the sky.

Fu Ting pulled her tightly, walked inside, and walked every step very accurately.

Along the way, his shoulders were covered with dust, and there was almost no splash of soil and rocks.

She didn't notice it, and her heart fell on her nephew, her eyes always looking around: "How long have we been looking for it?"

"It's not long enough to be helpless." He said it directly, not wanting to make her think randomly.

Qichi nodded unconsciously.

For some reason, at this time, a man was talking about such unreasonable words by his side, which made her feel at ease.

Soon, Luo Xiaoyi led the two of them all the way.

"Sister-in-law, Xinlu is back!"

Qichi pulled Futing for a while and stopped.

Xinlu had just returned safely. She said that she followed Li Yan and did not walk around the mountain at all, but suddenly she could not find Li Yan, so she had to turn around and talk about this with the head of the family.

After hearing this, Luo Xiaoyi immediately came to inform him.

After he finished speaking, he wiped the sweat from his forehead and asked Fu Ting: "Third brother, this is strange. The little prince should have nothing happened, why didn't he see anyone?"

Qichi thought about it. Li Yan was a very well-behaved person on weekdays. At any time something happened, he would come to her the first moment. How could he be worried for no reason?

She glanced at the falling mountain and murmured: "Can it be..."

Could it be that it also involves the past?

With his hand pulled, Futing pulled her away from the foot of the mountain.

...

Another group of officers and soldiers from Hanhai Mansion came, all busy preparing for the aftermath of this big and small collapse.

The sky has turned dark.

Under a low old tree, Li Yan sat there with his knees in his arms.

Fu Ting will see this scene at that time.

He let go of Qichi's hand, holding a knife in his other hand, which was covered with the thorny soil and stones he had cut when he had just found it.

He rubbed his hand on the back of the knife and put it into the back sheath of his waist, taking a look at Qi Chi.

She stood behind him, her temples were still messy, her face had returned to normal calmness, but she did not step forward, just looked at it.

He turned his head again and looked at Li Yan.

Li Yan seemed to hear the movement and suddenly looked up: "Father!"

Fu Ting frowned and looked at the young face.

In the dim sky, there was a vague sadness on Li Yan's face, as if there were tears, and he was huddled there helplessly, like a frightened family bird.

Futing remembered the father he mentioned.

He had only one encounter with King Light, and only on the day of his marriage, the moment he died.

I remember that pale picture of a man lying on the couch, and that pale face has similar eyebrows and eyes to Li Qichi. If he is fine, he should be a gentle and elegant man.

Later, the Northland urgently reported that he hurried back and heard that King Guang passed away just a few hours after that glance.

To him, King of Light was just an impression of that side.

But for Li Qichi and Li Yan, it is obviously far more than that.

"Get up." Fu Ting looked at Li Yan.

I even wanted to say: Your father is gone long ago.

It was because he was mourning but he didn't speak.

What's the use of sitting here and just being sad? King Guang will never come back.

When Li Yan heard this cold and solemn voice, his body stiffened, as if he had come back to his senses, and called out in a low voice: "Uncle."

Immediately afterwards, I saw the aunt behind my uncle.

Li Yan stood up immediately, came back to his senses completely, and trotted over a few steps: "Aunt, I..."

He had seen the mountain from afar before, and remembered the situation when his father was in danger and protected him to death.

If it weren't for that Ichigo, he would have been no longer alive.

When he thought of this, he couldn't suppress himself and he had retreated here for a long time without moving.

Until now, his uncle called him back to reality with just one word.

Now that he saw his aunt coming over, he realized that his behavior must have caused her to worry. He felt ashamed and sniffed and couldn't speak.

Qichi stood still and looked at him and said coldly: "I have taught you in vain on weekdays."

Li Yan became more and more ashamed.

My aunt taught him not to indulge in the past and look forward, but now he has not done anything at all. He lowered his head and sniffed again.

Qichi said: "If there is next time..."

"No," he quickly raised his head and answered: "Don't worry, aunt, there will be no next time."

Only then did Qichi reach out his hand from his sleeve and press it on his shoulder.

Knowing that he was uncomfortable, she was half sad and half helpless.

But at this point, the Guang Palace does not need a weak prince, but a man who can take over the title of Guang.
To be continued...
