Chapter 2 Prologue: White Emperor City
"Brother..." someone shouted softly in the darkness.
What annoying! Whose child lost his escape?
"Brother." The child shouted again.
I'm so annoying! Brother? There's nothing here!
"Brother... Then I'll leave..." the child whispered, his voice gradually fading away.
He suddenly felt a little reluctant. The sound that was gradually moving away showed a sense of loneliness, which reminded people of the child's back as if he had gone away, like an abandoned beagle.
"Okay, okay! Where is the street where your home lives? What's your name? I'll take you home!" He turned over and sat up.
He sat on the ground in the sunshine, dressed in white as bright as the moon, and what he saw was a white camellia blooming in a coarse porcelain vase. Through the flower, the child in white was writing at his desk with a tube of ink pen in his hand, writing strokes and strokes.
"Hey, you didn't leave? Are you playing tricks on me?" he wanted to say, but didn't say anything.
He did one thing naturally, there was a plate of green grapes on the table. He picked a small bunch from it and handed it to the child through the table.
The child raised his head, his eyes flashed with panic, like a alert baby beast, "Brother, there are many people outside."
It's a terrible thing? It's so quiet. He thought.
But naturally, he said another sentence, "Maybe he will die? But, Constantine, don't be afraid."
"Don't be afraid, be with your brother, don't be afraid...but why... don't eat me? Eat me, brother can break through any kind of cage." The child said seriously.
Eat...you? Although you are very white and tender, it does not mean that you are better than burgers. I only ate a burger at noon and am not hungry at all. He thought.
"You are a good food, but that's too lonely. For thousands of years, you were the only one with me." Once again, he said something insincere.
"But death is really sad. It's like being sealed in a black box, forever, forever, dark... It's like groping in the dark night, but the stretched hand will never touch something..."
"The so-called fate of the abandoned tribe is to travel through the wasteland, raise the battle flag again, and return to his hometown. Death is not scary, it is just a long sleep. Before I can devour this world, it is better to sleep peacefully than to travel alone. We will still wake up." I can't believe that such a cool line actually came from his mouth.
"Brother...will you eat me when you raise the battle flag and devour the world?" The child looked at him, his clear pupils flashing... Looking forward.
Hell! Is this a drama about "We are a cannibal family that loves each other"? But your family ethics are really strange!
"Yes, then you will be with me and rule the world!" But he nodded gently, his voice with a cold and hard majesty.
The child poured a glass of water from the kettle and handed it to him, and he drank it blankly.
"I'm leaving, brother, goodbye." The child stood up.
He wanted to say that I am not your brother and you recognized the wrong person, but he just said casually, "Goodbye, be careful, humans cannot believe it."
Another strange line, mindless.
The child went out and brought the door behind him. He listened to the sound of the child's footsteps getting farther and farther away, and finally disappeared completely.
He suddenly felt a little scared. He thought he was so confused. What should he do if such a young child let him go to the street and get rid of him? I don’t know how far he has to go to find his brother. He became restless and finally couldn’t help it. When he got up and ran to the door.
He pushed open the door, and the blazing light shone on his white clothes, not the sun, but the fire. In the flames of the sky, the city was crying, the charred human figures were running in the fire, and thousands of arrows fell from the sky, huge plaques burned and flipped, with the words "White Emperor" on it, which was simply hell.
In the middle of the city, a high pole stood, and the child was hung on the top of the pole, with his eyes closed, and the flames of the whole city were burning him.
It's like a grand sacrifice.
My heart hurts so much, it seems like there is a knife cutting it. Some important person is lost because he made a mistake.
He suddenly remembered something, it was true that he was just a child's brother.
"Cons...tantin." He shouted that name.
He sat up suddenly, opened his eyes in the afternoon sun, breathing rapidly, his whole body was covered in cold sweat, and there was the noise of the elevated light rail passing through outside.
