339 Christmas

After the Christmas holiday began, the professor assigned a lot of homework to the fourth grade students. According to them, there is only a little more time left before the O.W.LS exam.

Of course, most students have no intention of doing their homework at all. The library was obviously much empty that week before Christmas than before the holiday.

"It seems that except for those fifth and seventh grade students, we seem to be the only few people studying in the library." While doing homework in the library that day, Hugo looked around and said to his sister in a low voice.

There is no way, who has to let us have a lot of things to be busy in the second half of the Christmas holiday, so we can only finish the homework now." Hermione shook her head helplessly and said.

In fact, several ship girls said that they could help with writing those homework, but Hermione refused them all because she felt that it would be meaningless for others to write these things.

Hugo herself thinks that as long as she masters the knowledge, it doesn’t matter whether she writes homework or not. However, when she is stared at by her sister, she is obviously not so suitable to object.

Due to their previous investment, the Weasley twins' first product, the animal-turned biscuit, was successfully produced and sold at the Gold Harbour grocery store.

Compared with the single canary biscuits in the original text, there are obviously many new products supported by ship girls. Whether it is the deformable type or the snack style and taste used as camouflage, it is hard to guard against.

In this way, except for some students who have mastered some discernment curse, most people are now cautious when taking the snacks handed over by others.

Heavy snow fell on the castles and the grounds. The light blue carriage of Boothbaton looked like a big frosted pumpkin in winter, and the tiny gingerbread house next to it was Hagrid's hut;

The ship's side of the Demstrong ship had a layer of ice, which became smooth and translucent, and the sailing ropes were dyed with white frost.

Even at lunch, the busy house elf prepared a variety of hot stews and sweet puddings for teachers and students.

"The food in Hogwarts is too greasy," Furong frowned and said, "I can't even wear my dress and robe!"

"So I think it's pretty good for me to become a ship girl now," Hermione, who was out, told Hugo through the Admiral Network. "At least, when you encounter something delicious, you don't need to make repeated choices between food and weight."

"Of course, if that change didn't make me interested in the rust and the smell of oil, I think I might be more satisfied with those changes in my body."

As Christmas approaches, Hugo receives good news from Massachusetts. That is, a special study she previously has made breakthroughs.

According to her, this progress is unprecedentedly breakthrough and can be said to have subverted the foundation of the modern wizard world. If it is made public, it will cause shock in the wizard world.

However, like Veneto and Hermione, Massachusetts kept it secret for the time being, saying that it would be used as a gift when Hugo went to inspect the United States.

"Now these two little girls will be careless to the admirals." After seeing these reports that made people feel a little uneasy, Hugo shook his head helplessly.

Soon, it was Christmas morning. Even though the ship girls did not send gifts to school this year to avoid causing unnecessary suspicion, Hugo received quite a few gifts this year, and a small pile of them were piled up by the bed.

Some of these gifts come from fellow friends I met when I participated in the alchemy competition before, and many of them came from friends I met in school.

The most bizarre one of the things that looks like is the big-mouthed ball fish brooch made of colorful metal wire. You don’t need to look at the label to know that this thing must have been sent by Luna.

After going downstairs for breakfast, Hugo and the others returned to the common room and started chatting. They chatted until after lunch, he went to the playground to have a snowball fight with his sister and Veneto.

By 5 pm, the girls went back to the castle to dress up one after another, while Venetto and Hermione dragged them until 6:30 before leaving.

At 7:00 pm, it finally got dark. At this time, the boys gave up on continuing the snowball fight and returned to their dormitories to prepare to change into their own dresses and robes.

Hugo's dress robe was made by the ship girls for him. The overall one was a dark blue robe, which looked a little bit of the gorgeous military dress style of the 18th and 19th century. When worn, she looked a lot more energetic.

After changing his clothes, Hugo and a few boys went to the foyer at the entrance of the auditorium. Even though they came earlier at this time, the foyer was still full of people.

Because I learned from Veneto and the others that Luna had some time to come down, Hugo simply walked out of the castle along the gate to take in the fresh air. He happened to see a huge figure walking towards the Forbidden Forest.

"Good evening, Hagrid." After looking at Hagrid who dressed herself up in the image style designed by Veneto and the others last time, Hugo immediately stepped forward and said hello.

"Ha, Hugo, good evening." After hearing Hugo greeting, Hagrid waved his big hand like a palm fan to greet him. "Why didn't you go in this place?"

"There are too many people inside, and my partner hasn't come down, so I plan to stay outside for a little longer and get some breath." Hugo shrugged. "By the way, is your partner Mrs. Maxim?"

"Of course, of course it's Mrs. Maxim." After hearing Hugo ask this, Hager showed a slightly honest smile.

"We have a good relationship lately, so today I plan to take this opportunity to chat with her - some more in-depth questions."

"A deeper question?" After hearing Hagrid say this, Hugo immediately pulled him into a shadow by the door, and then wet a few protective magics and confirmed that no one could eavesdrop on him, and asked with a serious look on his face.

"The so-called deeper question you are going to talk to Mrs. Maxim is related to the part of the giant bloodline in your body?"

"Yes, after all, it's difficult for people like me to find similar words-" Hegel blurted out his answer when he heard Hugo ask, but he realized that something was wrong after halfway through his speech. "Wait, when did you start to know that I'm a half-giant?"

"Shh, whisper." Hugo put his hand in front of his mouth and made a gesture. "Most people don't like half-giant people. Why do you do that loudly?"

Then Hugo said in a gentle tone: "You know I have read a lot of books, so you can naturally infer this from your body's resistance and your aging speed."

"After all, normal people don't recover as quickly as you do after being hurt by magical animals. They won't look like they are in their 60s and they still look like they are in their forties."

"These characteristics, coupled with your extraordinary figure and unique view of various magical creatures, I could basically guess that you were a semi-giant when I was in the first grade."
