Section 60 March

Section 60: March

Osvid's request is simple - he must get a set of goods that are the same as the robbed sample.

"...This, this is not possible, no, I mean, no, no...I, I really can't take it out!" Gliffiz, who was soaked in cold sweat all over his body, said incoherently, and his tone also changed from humility, panic, fear at the beginning to the final begging.

The goods taken away by Hausen included thirteen blood samples obtained from different mutant organisms. This was a very accidental harvest of mercenaries under Glifiz when they were recycled in a huge ancient ruin south of Emma City. Only three sets of samples were collected, except for the part given to Hausen to show goodwill to the Skeleton Knights. The remaining two sets of samples were left. One had been handed over to the headquarters of the Sosbia Company, and the other was sold to the "Doctors Association" for a very high price.

Osvid picked up the wide-mouthed glass in front of him and shook it gently. It was about a quarter of the cup's capacity and rotated to form a shallow vortex.

"Whiskey in 2010, hehehehe! You know how to enjoy it."

After glanced at the label attached to the surface of the wine bottle, Osvid drank the wine in the cup in one go. He opened his hand and stuck the left and right edges of the glass with his thick fingers and exerted force. With a crisp crack, the round cup wall, which was as thick as one centimeter, was broken into two irregular pieces. Under the illumination of the floor lamp, a strange colorful light radiated from the transparent polygonal glass crack.

Gliffiz stared blankly at the scene that happened in front of him. He didn't understand what Osvid wanted to do. Maybe it was just for a simple venting or an alternative way of intimidation. But no matter which one it was, the consequences were not something he could bear.

The Skeleton Knight is different from ordinary evolved people or strengthened people. They are probably the most terrifying and powerful existence in the world. Although Gliffiz has no supernatural powers and cannot sense the special biological information emitted by Osvid, the major badge sewn on the other party's shoulder made him unable to help but tremble.

When receiving Hausen, he once asked the mercenary captain Locke quietly - how confident is he to kill that savage and violent guy?

He didn't really want to start. He just used this incorrect way to secretly evaluate each other's strength.

"There are more than 300 mercenaries of different reinforcement levels in Emma City. If they are equipped with heavy firepower and there are no obstacles available to the other party, they should be able to get the guy's head at the cost of about 200 to 250 people."

This is Locke's original words. It has not been deleted, but it has not been reduced.

A skeleton lieutenant has the strength to almost destroy the entire city of Emma. If it were a skeleton major... Gliffiz only felt dizzy in his mind. The results of this simple addition and subtraction were far beyond the level that his thinking could be acceptable.

After all, he is just a businessman, not a professional warrior.

Apart from begging and showing weakness, he really couldn't think of any better way.

Osvidmo picked up a piece of glass without expression and used a sharp rupture to pass a slow track on the surface of the sofa. The smooth brown-red leather mask quickly separated to both sides with a slight cutting sound, revealing the thick white foam stuffed in it. At first glance, it looked like a slender hole in the human body was cut by a knife, rolling out a bunch of soft fat from under the peeled skin.

No one spoke, and the Skeleton Knight was repeating the monotonous game. He seemed a little fascinated by this, watching the whole process of glass fragments wandering back and forth on the surface of the leather sofa, and from time to time, he stretched out his fingertips to gently touch the edge of the crack that was somewhat piercing, as if the sofa was lying beside him and letting the ravages be raging. The occasional contact of the wound would make it feel even more severe pain.

A few minutes later, the sofa had turned into a combination of striped crumbs and tattered foam. Osvid narrowed his eyes and looked at the masterpiece he had just completed with satisfaction. He grabbed the whiskey bottle placed on the wooden table next to him, tilted his neck and took a big mouthful. With a slightly drunk and majestic cold gaze, he swept to the trembling Gliffiz, slowly licking the remaining wine on his lips, and said lightly: "I want a sample--"

"Get get it..."

Gliffiz, who was trembling all over, tried hard to control his teeth that had hit hard because of fear. He seemed to see himself being stripped naked. The Skeleton Knight was cutting back and forth on the fat and white skin surface with sharp glass fragments.

"...Sample, I really can't get the sample!"

He said this almost in a crying voice. Before the other party could get angry, Gliffiz had already continued the conversation and trembled with a speech that had been brewing: "But, but... there is still another way."

Osvid, who flashed sharp light in his eyes, calmed down a little: "Say—"

"We recorded the coordinates of the ruins. Only by returning to it can we... obtain new samples." Gliffiz secretly observed the other party's face, perhaps because he felt that Osvid's face was about to change color again, so he hurriedly added a flattering sentence with a pun meaning: "According to the mercenary report that entered the ruins last time, there are many mutant creatures there. If you are led by the adults, the number of samples you get should be much larger than the batch of goods that were robbed."

Gliffitz was gambling. He put all his bets on the number of new samples. This was also his only chance to make Osvid change his mind.

Of course, this gambling is quite risky. He clearly saw the coldness and cruelty in Osvid's eyes. There was no tolerance or kindness in it. As long as one wrong word was said, the Skeleton Knight would kill himself without hesitation. Sosbia would never be an enemy of the Knights for a mere Earth manager. The only one who could save Gliffiz was himself.

Osvid frowned and thought for a moment, pointing directly to the key to the problem: "What are the coordinates of the ruins?"

Gliffiz, sweating profusely pressed the episte on the table and howled desperately in a double voice mixed with crying and excitement: "Elena, bring the file No. 96 quickly. Take it all, don't miss a piece of paper--"

Half an hour later, when Osvid, who was solemn, walked out of the office with relevant information, Gliffiz, who was exhausted, collapsed on the chair like a ball of radiating phosphoria, unable to say a word.

The sun shone out light weakly from behind the clouds, desperately trying to penetrate this layer of obstacles that were densely spread in front of him, but could only barely form a vague light ball in the thin clouds, emitting pitifully little and almost unsensed heat.

The slightly raised temperature melted the surface of the snow on the ground, and the condensed snow water made the ground harder. The dry trees were covered with icy ridges in the shape of pointed cones, as if the cactus were covered with thick and strange transparent thorns. Although the sources were different, they still had a silent deterrence to peeping.

They are also wilderness, and the winter landscapes in the two directions are completely different. The radiation dust caused by the nuclear explosion not only causes huge damage to organisms, but also changes the natural environment in small areas.

The armored vehicle coated with white skull logo was slowly advancing on the road. The ice cubes crushed by the rubber tires emitted miserable shattering. The scattered ice slag on the edge of the wheel print was overturned, leaving behind a deep rut mixed with complex patterns, slowly moving towards the distance of the road.

A group of armed men in black combat suits followed closely behind the armored vehicles, about thirty. The one-horned lion pattern sewn on the chest and left arm of the clothes showed that they were mercenaries affiliated with the "Sosbia" company. The heavy rubber military boots stepped on the frozen road where the wheels were rolled away, trampling the clear rut marks beyond recognition, completely turning into piles of black and gray semi-frozen mud.

Their emotions were obviously bad. Most of them had a gloomy face, tightly pursed or twisted lips, suppressing their inner dissatisfaction and anger. They walked very slowly, and their staggering speed could be described as "snail speed". If there was not an armored vehicle urging behind like an escort prisoner, they would have been reluctant to take their own steps.

According to Osvid's request, Glifiz selected fifteen people who had been to the ruins from the mercenaries who had just captured the mob and acted with the armored convoy. Locke was busy auctioning prisoners of war and did not join. As for the rest, Glifiz paid a lot of money to pay 5,000 yuan per person, and threatened to reject the annual report on employment qualifications. Then the tired mercenaries reluctantly agreed to accept the task. Under the command of the Skeleton Knight, they went to the coordinates marked as "Ruins No. 96" on the data to find enough biological samples again.

Ten soldiers wearing light gray combat suits and black skeleton logos on their chests were scattered near three armored vehicles. Unlike the cold and tired mercenaries, their faces looked relatively relaxed, and their clothes were much better than ordinary combat suits. Their chest and waist and abdomen were equipped with slightly bulging semi-convex ceramic armor plates, and independent personal call systems were hung on their necks and left shoulders. The weapons were equipped with no comparisons to the counterfeits in the hands of mercenaries. Their eyes were sharp, and any slight movement would arouse a vigilant reaction.

Lin Xiang walked behind the team with a g180s wrapped in rag strips on his back, wearing a cloth military cap slightly higher than his eyebrows. Through the heavy black line pressed down from the brim of the hat, everything around him was taken into his eyes.

The strength of all skeleton warriors is level 5 strengthening. In contrast, the strongest among the mercenaries has only reached level 4. In addition, the three armored vehicles left over from the old era to the present, which has remained intact. It makes people sigh at the amazing strength of the Knights.

Unlike other mercenaries who were tempted by money, Lin Xiang took the initiative to join this mission. He followed the leader's armored vehicle slowly, silently feeling the parasitic aura emitted from Osverde's body, and quickly pondered the safest way to kill the other party.

All Skeleton Knights are enemies.

Lin Xiang has never forgotten his oath.

For him, the Skeleton Knight is not only a life-and-death opponent, but also an unexpected and wonderful gift. Hausen's blood has shown that ingesting the blood of other parasites can effectively improve his strength. If he gets Osvid's blood, can he break through the obstacles and evolve into a more powerful Samsung parasite?

This was full of irresistible temptation for Lin Xiang.

In this chaotic world, powerful forces represent safer survival. The stronger the strength, the greater the hope of survival.

Osvid, sitting upright on the armored vehicle, looked cold and fierce as ever. His hands were crossed and hugged each other in front of his chest, his eyes deep in his eye sockets stared at the end of the road, and his slightly sinking mouth showed a sarcastic sneer, as if he was planning a plan, or as if he was planning a conspiracy...

In the evening, the convoy camped under a huge mountain rock.

The mercenaries used iron shovels to dig out simple stove pits on the ground, found enough firewood from nearby, lit the marching pot on the back rack, cooked it into soup with jerky meat and simple ingredients, and drank it hot and rested with rough black bread and corn biscuits.

The skeleton warriors parked three armored vehicles outside the camp, forming an irregular circle with the rocks to block the wind and cold. They took off the liquid-burning simple pot stove from the car and made dinner with marching rations and various canned food. The smell of the strong tomato beef soup spread everywhere, which made the mercenaries feel greedy. Except for a few calm mercenaries who were frowning and gnawing on their bread, the rest were drooling in secret, cursing these damn guys desperately in their stomachs, while chewing the scent from afar, chewing the real hard biscuits in their fantasy of food.

Lin Xiang put his backpack on the ground, leaning against a cold and hard rock, slowly chewing the salted corn cake in his mouth, and his eyes never left Osvid's shadow.

Although there was more than ten meters in the middle, Lin Xiang could still clearly feel the powerful aura released from this skeleton major.

He is stronger than any opponent he has encountered before. Neither the skeleton parasites of the old era nor the Hausen in the new era can have such a strong momentum. If Lin Xiang is a hungry wolf hiding in the dark and waiting for the best time to give the other party a fatal blow, then Osvid is undoubtedly a strong and ferocious mad lion, and there is no need to be afraid of any threat.

This is the confidence of absolute strength.

Lin Xiang knew very well that the specific level division of the Skeleton Knights was measured by each person's strength. The school officer and the lieutenant represent two completely different strength classes. He was confident of killing any parasites of the lieutenant level, but he was not sure to confront Osvid head-on. Although, this guy was just the lowest level among the school officers.

Lin Xiang also has his own advantage - the hidden aura.

Osvid obviously did not find a parasite hidden in the team. During the day, Lin Xiang deliberately walked to the armored vehicle several times. Even though he was close, Osvid did not show any surprise or other abnormal behavior. Osvid occasionally looked at Lin Xiang with contempt and disdain.

This made Lin Xiang more and more determined to think that his body was indeed different from other parasites. Perhaps it was because death was directly exposed to strong nuclear radiation first! The viruses in the parasite no longer had the special aura that was perceived by similar organisms. On the contrary, he could detect the other party's every move.

The night soon came, and the cold wind blew away the meager heat accumulated during the day, turning the whole world into a huge ice cellar covered with white snow.

In addition to the left-behind sentries, the skeleton warriors all got into the armored vehicles and curled in the warm wool sleeping bag and fell asleep. The mercenaries could only huddle around the shaking fire. Only when the flames were about to burn out would they throw in a few pieces of firewood left. Everyone was looking at the armored vehicles in the distance with hatred. They cursed these guys who were enjoying themselves in their hearts with the most vicious words, and even quietly agreed that the next trip would deliberately slow down so that Osvid, who was eager to reach the ruins, knew that the mercenaries also had their own rules.

It's dawn.

After a simple breakfast, the temporary gathering team once again walked onto the highway.

The mercenaries performed completely differently from yesterday. They deliberately walked very slowly, and while talking, they also pointed at the sarcasm and pointed their mocking targets at the skeleton warriors around them. A veteran even walked directly to Osvid's car, claiming that his foot was frostbite and asked to get in to the car to save more physical strength.

Osvid walked out of the car with his eyes slightly narrowed and stood upright in front of the veteran. Because the distance was too close, the two could almost feel the warm breathing flow from each other's mouth and nose. For the two men, this situation was really weird.

Osvid, who was more than two meters long, looked down at the veteran who was not willing to be outdone and coldly: "You want to take a car?"

The old mercenary hesitated for a moment and gritted his teeth: "My legs were frozen. It was so cold last night. In the second half of the night, um, um, um——"

Osvid suddenly stretched out his right hand, spread his powerful palm and squeezed the veteran's face tightly. The scene was like a five-clawed octopus slamming his entire face, and the eyes that came from between his fingers were full of anger and pain.

"Want to take a bus? Hehehehe--"
