About laser weapons

The speed of the laser is the speed of light, there is no doubt that you can find out by just checking it.

However, in order to reduce the threat of technological weapons, this book forced the speed of the laser beam to be slower than the speed of light. Therefore, you can see that the more powerful gods in the book can actually avoid and defend.

You can refer to Star Wars. Those who have watched the movie should have discovered that the beam of light emitted by the laser gun is actually moving slowly visible to the naked eye. The Jedi can even wield a lightsaber to bounce the laser!

Obviously, this is extremely inconsistent with the real situation.

Is Star Wars so big a crew member kicked all his brains by donkeys? Of course not. This setting was forced to increase the movie viewing experience. Otherwise, once the laser gun is opened, the special effects will not be necessary, and the enemy can just dissolve a hole in his chest and fall to the ground.

Remember, this is a fictional world! Both novels and movies are fictional! There are many unrigorous aspects of science fiction. Can some people not seek realism here? Are there any brain problems?
