Chapter 1633 Great regret

Major Otto Kunek, the head of the headquarters training class, was once a bomber pilot. He knew very well what the bomber’s weaknesses were.

So during the lecture, several people were specially asked to stand in front of the students, with signs of weak parts of the bomber hanging around their necks.

He asked the pilots to only open fire at very close distances, and to parachute after shooting down at least one bomber, and to impact the bomber if necessary.

In order to teach the so-called "collision plane" experience, Kunek specially found pilots who had seen the "air crash" of the Soviet Red Army on the Eastern Front, as well as the "Kamikaze Special Attack Team" combat materials provided by Japan, so that the students could learn from experience.

When training was over, the pilots were assigned to four brigades, deployed in Steindal, Bitterfield, Leipzig and Gadregan.

Peltz, Hermann and the Luftwaffe Command finally determined the attack time today, April 7, 1944.

When Major Bruner, the commander of the Impact Force, consulted Herman about whether he needed special preparations, the reply he received was "Nothing, just a fearless heart."

In fact, the Elbe troops did not actually have and were unable to carry out the necessary drills. When the Allies again bombed Germany with thousands of aircraft, 120 suicide planes rushed to the air and intercepted the Allied fleet.

"I bought it!"

"These German guys are all crazy!"

"Start fire quickly and blow up these damn German guys!"

In the successive tremendous explosions, the American and British pilots were so scared that they were very scared, and some pilots even had their heads blank and were completely shocked.

Before this, they all confidently believed that the current Luftwaffe was negligible, and that the ground air defense firepower, which was originally terrible, was also completely lost.

The entire German airspace has long become an unguarded hunting amusement park for Allied aircraft. Allied aircraft can perform various operations at any time from any tricky angle.

However, the extremely terrifying scene in front of them directly refreshed their views, completely beyond their imagination.

God can testify that it is the first time they have witnessed such a brutal suicide attack.

But there is a saying that people's potential is like water in a sponge, and as long as they are willing to squeeze, they will always be squeezed out.

At the time of life and death, American and British pilots quickly realized that their strong desire to survive did not allow them to sit and wait for death, and quickly organized intensive and powerful intercepting firepower.

The collision between strength and strength is always simple and crude, not to mention this extremely fast dive suicide impact.

In just a few minutes, the sudden German suicide attack came to an end, and most German fighter jets hit the Allied four-engine bombers as they wished.

With blood and life, the last gorgeous fireworks in their lives were bloomed.

Only a few German pilots threw away the canopy cover and seat belts in the moment before the impact, opened the parachute at a height of several thousand meters, and miraculously fled the plane at the last moment.

However, even so, it does not mean that they escaped from heaven.

Many pilots who open the parachutes fail to grasp the altitude of the parachute, but open the parachute in advance above 7,000 meters.

Therefore, the long-term high altitude landing caused them to suffer from hypoxia and low temperatures, which ultimately failed to survive.

Before landing on the ground, they had become frozen and cold corpses.

Despite this terrifying "small episode" and suffered a serious attack of terrifying, the well-trained American and British bombers continued to complete the attack mission.

After the bomb was still visible, the US and British aircraft team returned successfully. They did not encounter organized interception by the German army because the German blood had already shrunk.

Whether it is the Air Force or the ground air defense force, it has long been useless!

According to post-war statistics, in this suicide battle, the German army lost more than 120 aircraft and 77 pilots were killed, while 56 bombers in the US were destroyed, with the death toll of more than 300.

Judging from this heavy data, the suicide attack launched by the German army achieved an extremely considerable exchange ratio.

In a sense, this can be considered a victory.

It is also because of this that after the death attack, Hermann wanted to do it a few more times and teach the Allied bombers that were rampant in Germany so that they would not dare to bomb at such unscrupulously at low altitude precision.

But unfortunately, he didn't have the opportunity to continue to "become bigger and stronger".

The "Third Reich" is at its end. The German head of state will soon commit suicide in a Berlin bunker, and then Germany will be forced to surrender unconditionally.

What's interesting here is that in another time and space, after the end of World War II, although Hermann was sentenced to the Nuremberg Court, he was only sentenced to the minimum extent.

Later, he was recruited by the US Air Force to study how to prevent the "collision war" that the Soviet Air Force might launch during World War III.

On April 12, 1945, at 3:35, the President died of cerebral hemorrhage at the age of 63.

A crowd of people gathered outside the White House. The departure of the president who had been with him for 12 years made people feel as if they had lost something. The sobbing people seemed to have no support for their future, confused and empty.

The long-term and heavy political and war affairs damaged the health of Mr. President, and the great leader who brought the world back to peace ultimately failed to see the moment when world peace came back with his own eyes.

This has to be said, is a great regret.

On April 14, the body of Mr. President was transported to Washington from Hot Springs Town, Georgia, USA.

The railway was filled with people who saw off, and those who had escaped from poverty because of Roosevelt's new policy were all in tears.

At 9:50 a.m., the train that had taken the late president to visit various places and drove into Washington Station for the last time.

...

During this period of time, fierce battles were in full swing on the Pacific battlefield.

The Allies are conducting the largest amphibious landing operation in the Pacific battlefield of World War II with Japan, and the bloodiest battle - the Battle of Okinawa.

Starting from the early morning of April 1, the Allied forces implemented direct naval guns and aviation fire preparations on Okinawa Island, and the landing phase mission has been completed.

On April 6, the Japanese Navy Combined Fleet sailed from Japan to Okinawa, attempting to fight the sea warships with the Allies, including the Japanese most powerful battleship Yamato.

But it is obvious that the Japanese were thinking too much. How could they have the opportunity to fight against the Allies when they lost their air supremacy?
