Chapter 158 The goal is basically completed

Ethan didn't figure out how he did it in a hurry, but he finally understood why his research on the power of time has not made any progress.

He was wrong: Ethan habitually treated time as a long river that kept pushing objects on it.

But he got one thing wrong: time is not 'single'.

He also realized this just now. He always wanted to "connect" the so-called long river of time, and then find an object moving forward in the long river of time, and put it back to the position he once was or where he would go in the future.

Now he realized that any object actually has a river of time that belongs entirely to himself. What he has to do is not to connect to a big river and find something, but to use his own power to ‘connect’ something with the river of time he has experienced, and then ‘operate’ on the ‘opposite’ time river.

He thought of this, but he was not sure what to do. The review of the chess pieces on the chessboard in front of him was actually the spontaneous fluctuations left by Hermione on the remaining time, not the effect shown under Ethan's control.

Moreover, this kind of confusion is not without side effects when connecting to the river of time. Ethan feels a little dizzy, and this feeling is a bit like seasickness...

"It's really ironic. I didn't feel any boat in the turbulent ocean back then, but I was so immersed by a small river."

Although Ron, Harry and Hermione were curious about how Ethan did it just now, they all noticed that Ethan's face was not very good-looking. The kind little Gryffindor Lion immediately asked Ethan's condition with concern.

"Do you want to accompany you to the infirmary?"

"No, just take a break."

Except for being a little dizzy, Ethan had no other problems. He checked his body immediately and was sure that he was fine.

Because Ethan's face was not very good, Hermione did not continue to ask how he did it just now, but she just vaguely felt that it had something to do with the time converter.

By the time the rest time was over and the students started having supper, Ethan had basically recovered.

I originally wanted to finish eating early and then study this thing, but as soon as I finished supper, Logan found him.

"It's very strange, you'll come to me."

"What's so strange about this? It's just that there was nothing to tell you before."

"Is there something wrong now?"

Logan nodded and took out a small bottle.

"What's this?"

"A potion."

“What about the effect?”

"It can relieve my current state."

Ethan nodded. The kind of potion he made was not difficult to crack. With Logan's physical fitness, he even had a certain degree of immunity to this drug. Now a few years have passed, and the residual effect in his body has become much smaller. Even without the use of potion, Logan's own magic cultivation can eliminate the effect.

Logan hadn't done this before, because he had nothing to rush to do.

"Are you going back?"

"I guess I won't come after the end of this semester."

The knowledge in Hogwarts is indeed very attractive, but Logan feels that he has learned everything he is interested in. Even if he doesn't understand it for a while, he has recorded the knowledge and goes back to study it slowly, so there is no need to continue to waste time in school.

After staying for three years, he had enough. Although the world was peaceful, he felt uncomfortable always looking like a child.

“Will it be troublesome?”

"No, Dumbledore has noticed something wrong with us."

This is the benefit of Ethan's previous game of "Guess Who Am I?", and many things should be done as much as you want.

"Besides, I can't really stay here for seven years."

He has learned and collected almost all the knowledge of Hogwarts, and has a clue to the study of the power of time. He has relaxed for three years and has enough rest. There is no need to stay in school next.

Even Ilia even said Rin Tosaka, there is no need to spend it all the time here and they need to learn magic. However, the path they are going to take is different from the wizards in this world. Coming here is to expand their knowledge rather than endless horizontal development.

So in his original plan, he was to stay in Hogwarts for about three to four years before leaving.

Of course, in return, Ethan could stay and help Dumbledore solve Voldemort's problem, which was not a difficult task for him anyway.

Then he could go back without any worries.

"You're only going to stay for another year?"

"The battle for the three powers will be held next year, and Voldemort will be resurrected by that battle, and Dumbledore is now making arrangements for this matter."

Having lived here for three years, Logan certainly knew who Voldemort was.

"Do you need me to stay for help?"

"A guy at this level..." Ethan shook his head: "For me now, I can clean up by hand."

Logan spread his hands, with a look of "I know you're so powerful now."

"Are you going back to see Atlana?"

Logan was so stuck that he didn't know how to answer, but in the end he could only wave his hand and slip away. Ethan still didn't know if Logan would go to Atlana.

"Is Aquaman gone?"

Neptune has nothing to do with him. Moreover, if Atlanta really believes that Logan doesn't let go, even Om won't appear. Then Atlantis will continue to live the familiar underwater life for thousands of years. Those kings will not suddenly burst into ambition and start a war with land...

Even if the war starts, they will be beaten up by Superman. From this point of view, Aquaman prevents his compatriots from going to war with the land people, just to avoid their family being disposed of by Superman?

After a moment of dazed, Logan had disappeared. Hermione appeared at some point and was shaking her eyes and making gestures to make herself speak in the corner.

"What are you doing?"

"How do you know that thing?"

"What?"

"Don't pretend to be confused. You mentioned Professor McGonagall before and said those words. How did you know I have this thing?"

Hermione reached into his collar and pulled it gently, and a necklace-like thing exposed a small part, which was enough to let Ethan see clearly what this was.

"You mean the time converter?"

"Yes, time converter!"

"You mean the time converter I have in my hand?"

As soon as Ethan turned his hand, an identical time converter appeared in his palm.

Hermione's first reaction was that Ethan used some methods to take away the neck, but when she reached out and touched her, she found that her time converter was still hanging around her neck.

"Why do you have one?"

"This thing is not a unique product that only makes one. You can get it from Professor McGonagall, why can't I ask for one?"

"Professor Snape? This is not worth a surprise at all."

All Hogwarts students know how much Snape likes Ethan (actually respects). Giving Ethan a time converter is nothing.

"Did you use the time converter before?"

Hermione frowned. She knew the effect of the time converter and had used it for half a year. It shouldn't be like that. The time converter that took her back to a certain point in time, rather than returning something to a state that was before how long it was.

Ethan thought about it and it was really impossible to explain it. Could it be that he had been studying the power of time? That day, he happened to run into Hermione, who had just used the time converter. Some fluctuations leaked from her accidentally triggered the "timeline" on the chessboard, and that scene appeared?

"That day was just an accident, maybe it was caused by the energy overflow between the time converters."

The truth of the matter is almost the same, but if Ethan took the opportunity to push that, that would not have happened.

Hermione's eyes were full of suspicion. Ethan's explanation seemed reasonable, but she always felt that something was wrong. But she couldn't come up with any evidence to prove her guess unless...

"Don't use the time converter randomly, be careful to cause trouble."

Although time converters are easy to use, they can easily lead to unpredictable consequences when used casually.

Time is a mysterious realm. Even if you create props like time converters, the wizards in this world do not have the power to show their time.

What's more, the time converter can theoretically create countless self, and when using this prop, the most important thing to avoid is to encounter the 'another self'.

If she did things randomly, she might not even know how to avoid the whole bunch of herself.

Thinking of this, Ethan admired the Flash. The guy traveled to the night his mother was killed again and again. In a trance, Ethan couldn't remember how many Flashes were squatting in the room.

"I know, Professor McGonagall has emphasized it many times."

Hermione looked at Ethan's hand and found that the time converter in his hand was received, and suddenly became curious.

"Speaking of this, what do you want this thing to do?"

She needs a time converter to learn all the elective courses. Because the course arrangements for the elective courses will conflict in time, there is no way to learn them all.

Hermione relies on time converters to ensure that she will not miss any class.

But Ethan doesn't seem to have enrolled so many elective courses, what else is he doing with the time converter?

She thought about it for a long time, but she didn't expect Ethan to give such an answer.
