In terms of power, the gasoline version is equipped with the already mature zgx888, 1.8-liter inline four-cylinder turbocharged engine of Zhengxin. In order to obtain better smoothness and reduce costs, Wang Yu did not use a dual-clutch gearbox according to the original design of Li Fanyu's drawings.

The dual clutch is definitely a good thing, but now Zhengxin only has the enhanced version of this transmission on the rs and longbow. There is no precedent for mass-produced cars, so it is impossible to know how the effect of this thing has been simplified.

This thing is definitely good, but the rs and longbow are both delicate performance cars that are different from the Tiguan. One is expensive, the other is inconvenient to maintain. Wang Yu's idea is that since he wants to increase volume, he does not need to use fancy new technologies as a selling point.

So he replaced the Tiguan with a lower cost and more reliable and durable 6at automatic transmission. In addition, the other configurations completely follow Li Fanyu's original design drawings.

In the diesel-powered version, the tdi diesel turbocharged engine created by Li Fanyu personally led the team to be equipped on Tiguan.

This diesel engine with high-pressure direct injection technology cleverly utilizes the recessed bowl-shaped shape on the top of the piston, so that the high-pressure fuel will be similar to the w12 electronic turbocharged engine that Wang Rui changed before, allowing the high-pressure fuel to form a spiral mixed oil and gas inside the cylinder, boosting the combustion in the cylinder more fully, and greatly reducing the content of harmful particles in the emission link.

Although the research and development time was very tight, Wang Yu still carefully studied the principle of pump spraying and adjustable blade turbochargers never appeared on Zhengxin's previous engines.

After the engine test results were obtained, Wang Yu was surprised to find that using the pump injection principle and adjustable blade technology, the tdi engine can better control the injection volume with the cooperation of the ECU, greatly improving the fuel efficiency. Compared with several common diesel engines with the same displacement on the market, the tdi's power has increased by about 20%, but under the increase, the amount of carbon dioxide generated by fuel consumption and combustion has not increased but decreased.

This is amazing.

However, the advantages of this engine are not only that, because unlike the zgx888 series gasoline engines, the tdi adopts the characteristic of making air spontaneously igniting with high pressure, which saves the cost of spark plugs in structure. Specifically for consumers, it saves a lot of money to replace spark plugs.

This is even more amazing.

Through horizontal comparison with the diesel version engine, even though Wang Yu knew the technical advantages of the zgx series engine, he had to be sure that the comprehensive measurement of the diesel version of Tiguan has certain advantages over the gasoline version.

The only thing that worried him was that there are too few compact SUVs equipped with diesel versions on the market now. When biodiesel has not yet been popularized, will the Diesel version of Tiguan encounter the embarrassment of the diesel version fighter?

This is not his fault. You should know that the fighter is fundamentally a pickup truck for working. The Tiguan is a genuine household SUV. Therefore, the Tiguan, which is equipped with a slightly poor high-speed performance, but has a strong and fuel-efficient diesel engine, may be inferior to the fighter in terms of objective conditions.

After conducting small-batch trial production and cost accounting, Wang Yu was relieved that the cost of Tiguan was quite good.

The final vehicle accounting cost, the two power versions of the gasoline engine, cost 62,000 and 74,000 respectively under the same interior solution. The power version of the diesel 2.0tdi is 65,000.

Such a cost makes the tdi diesel version still have a certain advantage in price.
