0141 Prisoners of War and Humanity - Part 1

On the border of Yongjiang District, Yongzhou City, the Beast Army has set up a defense line across the Yongjiang River, facing the human armed forces across the river.

However, the human army suspended its offensive because they faced a difficult problem, which was how to deal with the beast tribes who had suffered plague and were abandoned because of defeat.

At this moment, the prisoners of the beast tribe have been concentrated in Yongjiang Square, Yongjiang District.

The square was surrounded by human soldiers and temporary armed forces. Many of these people were covered in blood, with some numb expressions, some sighs, and some were stunned when they looked at the blood in their hands. A very small number of people were holding their heads, looking a little painful.

Fu Yao stood quietly in front of these beast captives, with Fu Shun and Xia Yi beside him.

Fu Yao looked at the beast tribes and couldn't help but sigh. He looked at the entrance of the square from time to time, waiting for Chen Lue to arrive.

Fu Yao didn't wait long, and soon Chen Lue and Cao Xiaoxin arrived at the square.

Because he didn't understand military affairs, he did not interfere with military deployments. He has been staying underground these days, thinking about where he should go next. Of course, as the highest commander, he called him the command and the central dispatch to the outside world.

However, Chen Lue was not idle either. He fulfilled his promise. After signing an agreement with Zhang Sirui, he and Zhengwu handled Tang Zhenshan's funeral and stayed for him for several days.

Then yesterday the human race officially counterattacked, and Zhengwu went directly to the front line, while Chen Lu continued to stay underground and learned about the situation of the war through communication equipment.

Just now, when he learned about the Beast Clan prisoners of war, he came here with Cao Xiaoxin.

After Chen Lue arrived, he immediately looked around the square and found that it was densely packed with plague and injured beasts, clearly divided into three waves.

The most numerous beasts are those terminally ill plague patients. These beasts do not need to be taken into custody at all. They collapsed to the ground dyingly without moving for a moment, and only occasionally moaned.

The second wave was those beasts who were not seriously ill. After seeing the tragic situation of the same tribe who was about to die, they felt fear and were separated from the severely ill beasts. They all raised their hands and squatted on the ground according to the human race's requirements, with both sick faces and despair on their faces, and silently waiting for the cruel judgment that might come.

The third wave was the injured normal beast captives. These beasts either lacked arms and legs, had blood on their heads, and had no serious injury after treatment on their bodies. They all looked quite miserable.

"Didn't you talk about the captives of the three tribes? Why are the Blackback Clan and the Little Dragon Clan also here?"

Chen Lue received the news that the human race had captured the three tribes' garrisons and captured a group of abandoned orcs.

Fu Yao shrugged his shoulders and said, "The Blackback Clan and the Little Dragon Clan are more cruel. They directly attack the sick beasts. Many beasts escaped and were captured by us."

Chen Lue said: "You just make the decision on handling prisoners, why do you have to make the decision on the spot?"

Chen Lu thought to himself, don’t you hate the beast tribe to the bones? Isn’t it over just thrust it?

Fu Yao smiled dryly and said, "You are the supreme commander-in-chief after all, and I am a soldier, so I have to obey my orders!"

Xia Yi ran up at this time, hesitated for a moment, and then said to Chen Lu: "I'll just say it for the captain!"

After saying that, he glanced at Fu Yao and saw that Fu Yao didn't stop him, so he told the whole story.

It turned out that the first person to attack the Beast Clan's garrison were professional soldiers from the base. Many of these soldiers were not native to Yongzhou, and no relatives died under the Beast Clan.

When they entered the garrison, they found that most of the orcs had lost their power to fight and surrendered to the human army.

These soldiers were used to obeying orders and hated the beasts, but after killing some beasts who still wanted to resist vent their anger, they forced themselves to kill and gathered all the beasts that did not resist in one place.

The rear army of the human race was temporarily recruited armed forces. They were not sent out to charge to the forefront, but most of them had irreconcilable hatred with the beast race. After learning about the prisoners, they rushed over and crowded on the streets.

When the beast prisoners appeared in front of these people, these people began to stir up. Some shouted the slogan of beating the beast tribe to death, some clamored to avenge their relatives, and then these people rushed forward.

The officers at the base originally wanted to try to stop them, but were immediately dispersed by the angry crowd.

In the end, Fu Shun fired a gun to the sky to make people quiet.

Fu Shun said: "Everyone is anxious, why are you anxious? Today, you will be revenge and revenge. You are bound to be yours. But you are now recruited soldiers, so he will follow some rules for me. What are you going to do like this?"

Fu Shun then ordered his personal soldiers to form a human wall to block those who were unstable, and then he escorted the beast prisoners to the crowd.

These beasts were originally indecent and ragged, and now they were plagues, listless, and some were injured. Every step forward was difficult.

Some of the prisoners of the beast tribe had dead grass wrapped around their heads as bandages, while others were seriously injured and were carried away by other beast tribes.

Faced with the angry crowd, the Beast Prisoners were extremely scared, and their eyes were filled with fear. Because of their instinct for survival, they began to retreat and dodge.

Many prisoners of war in the beast race were already in despair, and when they saw these angry crowds, they were so scared that they collapsed on the ground. The beasts simply threw down the stretcher and knelt on the ground and begged for mercy.

At this time, an excited young man rushed out of the commotion crowd.

He rushed towards an injured beast race in anger, ready to hit him hard with his fist.

This is a young deer elk tribe. He looked just an adult. He was blown off one of his legs by artillery during the war, and his fur was covered with blood.

Facing the fist, the young Deer Elk prisoner had no way to dodge. He screamed in horror and cried desperately.

The young man who was about to drop his fist saw this, his fist hung down weakly, standing there like a wooden carving.

He looked carefully at the beast prisoners of war, all of which were old and young beasts.

The proportion of young and strong plague infections is small, and the beasts usually choose to resist, so they are killed directly, and the remaining prisoners are naturally the only elderly, weak, women and children.

The young man couldn't help but sigh. He looked at the young deer and elk tribe and could clearly see the shadow of his son on this tender face!

The young man hesitated for a moment, took out a piece of bread wrapped in paper from his arms and gently handed it to the young deer and elk tribe.

The young deer and elk, whose face was deformed, could hardly believe his eyes. He stared at the bread with tears with his eyes, but did not dare to take it.

It was not until the young man put the bread in his hands that he realized, and suddenly grabbed the bread, and even the layer of paper outside was peeling off, and he started to eat it in big mouthfuls.

The young man looked at this scene and stroked the young deer and elk tribe and suddenly started to cry. The heartbreaking cry of sadness suddenly calmed down the turbulent crowd.

Many people were shocked and looked at the young man in surprise. The air seemed to freeze immediately, and the whole street was quiet and the needle could hear the sound.

Some people seemed to understand something and began to ponder silently, while others said angrily: "Coward, what are you doing!"

The young man cried and said, "Yes, I am a coward, I can't do it. He is just a child!"

"A wolf cub is a wolf cub. Wolves eat people, and he will eat people when he grows up!"

A young man in his thirties suddenly rushed out with a bayonet in his hand.

He pushed away the previous young man, raised the bayonet in his hand, and stabbed the young deer and elk tribe hard. When the bayonet was about to pierce into the other person's heart, his hand suddenly shook and stabbed his shoulder blade.

The young deer and elk tribe let out a miserable scream, looking at him in great horror, and the young man holding the knife also frowned and looked at him.

He jumped hard, kicking the young deer and elk to the ground, but ignored him. Instead, he looked around and walked towards an adult orc.

He gritted his teeth: "Report to the next one, you must have eaten someone, let me die!" After that, he raised his knife and chopped it. The orc was suffering from an epidemic and was weak. He raised his hand weakly. In the end, he did not stop it. The head was cut off by the young man with the knife.

The blood sucked the young man with the knife's face, which made him unable to help but take a step back, but he gritted his teeth and found another adult orc.

It was a human wolf clan. Seeing the young man with a knife walking towards him, he was so scared that he knelt on the ground: "I, I have never eaten anyone!"

"Who believes it!" The young man with the knife cut down with another knife. Because the bayonet had already become much more dull, it was stuck on the neck of the human wolf clan. Then the arterial blood kept shooting, and the hot blood was steaming, pouring on the young man with the knife, causing him to tremble.

He pulled out the bayonet, and the human and wolf clan fell to the ground and kept twitching. He could vaguely hear him saying, "I... really haven't eaten anyone!"

Kill another beast, and the young man began to look around in a daze, but suddenly he still cut the knife. He wiped his face and looked at the blood on his hand and said, "Two lives are exchanged for two lives, I will avenge you!"

Fu Shun did not stop all this. He stood up when he saw that the young man with a knife could no longer kill the two beasts.

"Who else wants to take revenge or vent his anger? Come one by one!"

Many people in the crowd looked at each other with their companions, and then raised their hands one after another.

"Me!", "And I!", "I want it too!"

An old man from the Deer Elk tribe suddenly stood up and shouted loudly: "I! I have eaten someone!"

The one who stood up was the elder of the Deer Elk tribe. He said to everyone: "I have eaten people! So, kill me! But the children are innocent. I beg you and ask you to let them go!"

After saying that, Mie Kneel knelt on the ground, ready to kill him.

The boys and girls around the beast tribe cried in a whole circle, and the old beast tribe hugged them to comfort them.

Some of the other beasts kept begging for mercy, some were waiting to die indifferently, and many beasts were inspired by the elk and stood up one after another.

"I've eaten human flesh, I deserve to die!", "And I, I deserve to die too!", "Kill me, let these children go, and the clan elders!"

The crowd became quiet again.

At this time, another young man stood up and said, "There are faults and debts. Those who have eaten the enemy must not be let go. As for children and the elderly, is my father not old? Is my child not young?"

He pulled out the bayonet and came to the beast tribes that had admitted to eating humans. After killing three beast tribes in a row, he said, "My elder brother, my sister-in-law, and my father's revenge!"

After saying that, he walked towards a girl from Fangs, who was so scared that the girl from Fangs were directly drilled into the old Fangs next to him.

"My niece is only six years old this year. You beast tribe are precocious. You should be about the same age, right?"

He held the bayonet tightly and pointed at the heart of the Fanged Girl, but he was unable to stab it for a long time.

He sighed: "You beasts have made me a beast too!"

He turned the bayonet and pointed at the old Fang clan and said, "I really can't do it, but I have to kill another one, how about you for her?"

The old Fang clan was stunned and then laughed and said, "Okay!"

Seeing the old Fang clan's answer so straightforward, the young man's eyes began to soften, and for a moment he hesitated.

When he was about to convince himself not to be soft-hearted, the bayonet was suddenly held by the old fanged beast and stabbed into his heart.

The young man was in a daze. He saw the girl of the Fang tribe hugging the old Fang tribe in panic, and cried, "Grandma! Grandma!"

The young man pulled out the bayonet, turned around, and walked back to the crowd without any gaze: "My revenge is over!"

Seeing this scene, the crowd became quieter, and people stood up one after another in silence, and their relatives were irreconcilable. They had to avenge them, but these people all skipped the young beasts in tacit understanding.

For several hours, the wide street became a execution ground, full of blood, but the hatred actually subsided a lot.

Seeing that the remaining soldiers were all old, weak and disabled soldiers, everyone stopped and watched calmly as the remaining beasts were escorted to the square.
