022. History of Magic and Potions

The history of magic itself is not boring.

The boring thing is just Professor Binnes's teaching method.

He is probably too old.

It is said that when Hogwarts was just founded, the classroom was quite vivid and interesting when he was still alive. Even people like Slytherin praised him for his quick thinking and clear mind.

But now he only uses the sound of panting and urging, and he talks emotions and never stops. He rarely communicates with students.

Lynn even felt that Professor Binnes's voice was magical. Even people who had been a good student for two lives and who never sleep in class would have a drowsy desire to listen to his lectures.

Professor Binnes did not give Lynn a chance to perform throughout the class, and of course Lynn did not mean to perform, because he really couldn't imagine what kind of talent the history of magic corresponded to.

After the morning class, Lynn settled lunch in the auditorium, then sat next to the fireplace in the common room with the thick magic history textbook that had just been finished, and reviewed what Professor Binnes had just said.

He was a little absent-minded when he was in class, but fortunately he wrote down all the notes he should have taken in the book. Now he reviewed them just in time to deepen his impression.

"I heard about it."

A blond, sunny-looking senior boy walked up to Lynn and said with a smile.

"You won five points for Slytherin in Professor Flitvie's class, especially in front of a group of proud Ravenclaws."

The person who came was Raphael Williamson, who was the boy chief of Slytherin and the boyfriend of female chief Betty.

"It's just five points, this is not something worthy of praise, and I'm just lucky, so I probably won't have such a chance in the future."

Lynn is not being modest, he is just getting a vaccination.

After knowing that the talent points obtained by complimenting and bonus points are one-time, he no longer has the intention to continue to express himself in class.

In places like Hogwarts, especially when it is not very calm in the next few years, Lynn thinks it is better for him to keep a low profile.

Raphael didn't care about Lynn's words. He seemed to be completely immersed in his own world now, chattering about their desire to continue the glory of Slytherin. As long as young wizards of all ages work together, the annual Academy Cup will remain in the Snake House indefinitely.

However, Lynn knew that these were just his imagination. Just next year, their principal Dumbledore would start to get out of the game and turn the Academy Cup into the shape of a Gryffindor.

No one dared to be late for the afternoon potion class.

Even if they are all freshmen, there are seniors who have given these young wizards a popular science by Professor Snape in Hogwarts. On the premise that a good-tempered professor got angry in the morning, no one was so stupid that he would go to stroke his tiger's beard again.

In the Potion Classroom, there was a crucible in front of everyone, and the shelves around were brightly displayed, including the body parts of various magical animals or a special internal organ.

In addition to the dim environment, the slightly timid girl was already scared to the point of being pale, and her eyes could only stare at the crucible in front of her.

Professor Snape's face was also very pale. Not only that, he also had a hollow eyes, a rigid expression, and his hair was greasy like reflective tin foil. He wanted people to choose a bottle of hair wash when giving him Christmas gifts.

Lin En sat down and couldn't help but think that in a hot chicken novel he read in his previous life, a nickname given to him by an unscrupulous author - without a wife's face.

"I'm glad there are no fools who choose to be late in my class." Professor Snape's voice was not loud and light, but it was just enough for every little wizard to hear what he was saying.

He walked off the podium and took slow but oppressive steps between the desks.

"You are here to learn the precise science and strict craftsmanship of this potion. Since there is no silly waving the wand here, many of you will not believe it is magic. I don't expect you to truly understand the beauty of the white smoke coming out of the simmering pot, and the fragrance is floating. You will not really understand the magical power that flows into people's blood vessels, which makes people feel scattered and confused. "

His voice slowly became softer.

"I can teach you how to increase reputation, make honor, and even stop death - but there must be one thing, that is, you are not the kind of fools I often meet."

"So…"

Suddenly, his voice changed.

"Can anyone infer what kind of potion we will configure in this lesson based on the potion materials in front of you?"

Whenever his gloomy eyes glanced at a little wizard, they would scare the poor child to wince his head.

Then Professor Snape's eyes met Lynn.

Lynn showed no fear. He smiled and looked straight at his wife's empty and cold eyes, raised his arms, and kept cheering himself up in his heart.

He is an old bachelor who can't marry his wife, he is an old bachelor who can't marry his wife, he is an old bachelor who can't marry his wife...

"Oh, Belloke, then please stand up and tell me what kind of insight you have."

He seemed to be sarcastic for no reason, and his tone of speaking was born like this.

Lynn didn't care about his tone, but looked at the materials next to the crucible in front of him and said smoothly.

"Dried nettle, venomous snake teeth, horned slugs, porcupine stings... These are the third one recorded in "Magic Potions and Potions", which are specially used to treat boils."

"This is a special potion for treating pustules, measles, boils and other symptoms of lymph node nuclei. Carefulness is required when boiling potions. Incorrect production will cause this potion to cause boils, not cure them. The standard for successful boiling is the pink smoke coming out of the crucible."

"The book emphasizes that when making potions, it is especially important to note that if you want to add porcupine thorns to it, you must first remove the crucible from the flame. Otherwise, the crucible will melt and emit a terrible smell. The leaking potion will also cause boils to grow in contact with the skin..."

Speaking of this, Lynn finally stopped by the shocking gaze of the little wizards of Slytherin and Hufflepuff. He looked at Professor Snape and said modestly.

"I can only remember so much. If there are any omissions, I will ask the professor to add it."

The expression on Snape's face was still the same, and he did not show any special emotions because of Lynn's wonderful answer.

"Hmph, I hope your specific operations can be like your theoretical knowledge."

Snape walked back to the podium expressionlessly, and said lukewarmly.

"Slythering adds 10 points."
