Chapter 25 Embarkation

Sweet time is always short, and after a short stay, you still have to set off.

On the tenth day of June, in the early morning, it was still drizzling in the sky.

In the inn room, Tang Jingwen sat up with some difficulty, picked up the dress at the head of the bed and put it on slowly, and occasionally looked at the Qingdu Riverside outside the window. The bird dumplings couldn't go out to find food, and rolled on the bedding a little boredly, like a small white ball of fur rolling around.

Today I was going to travel far again, and everyone else in the inn had already stood up. Jiang Yi was busy packing up the items he accompanied and put them on the boat. Occasionally, he could see a few familiar backs from the road under the window.

Tang Jingyan glanced at the window, and the door was knocked, and then the door opened, and Zuo Lingquan walked in quickly from outside.

Zuo Lingquan changed into a new outfit, wearing a white robe, with long cloud-patterned boots on his feet, a green-skinned sheathed iron sword hanging around his waist, and a sword on his back, wrapped in black cloth. It was Mo Yuan who got it last time in Qingyun City, and he looked like a knight walking around the world.

Tang Jingwen sat in front of the dressing table, raised his hand and tied his goose yellow buckles. He looked at the door in a blink of an eye. Zuo Lingquan hurriedly retreated and said a little apologetically:

"Sister Tang, why are you getting up by yourself?"

Tang Jingwen rested for four or five days. Although she was still weak, she didn't have much trouble walking down the ground. She tied her skirt, looked down at her head, and confirmed that there was no exposed area before she quipped:

"I'm wearing clothes and want to take advantage of my sister. I should come soon,"

Zuo Lingquan shook his head and laughed, went back to the room, came to the bed, and helped to pack up the items accompanying him:

"The ferry has arrived, it's very big. Da Yanchao has arranged the room. Jiang Yi and the others have gone to pack first. Sister Tang can just get on the boat and settle down..."

Tang Jingyan sat in front of the dressing table, tidying her hair with a wooden comb. She was weak and didn't get up. She just turned her head and looked at the man to help her pack her luggage, and praised:

"Xiao Zuo, your clothes are so handsome, they look better than black robe."

"Is that so? Senior Wu prepared it, and I think it looks good too."

"Aunt Wu is so nice to you."

"hehe……"

Tang Jingwen didn't have many belongings, except for the jewelry boxes that contained lifebloods, there were only a few sets of clothes left to change clothes.

Zuo Lingquan opened the wardrobe, took out the folded skirt, and put it in a small box. He just took two pieces, but saw a few colorful little clothes under the skirt, embroidered with patterns such as phoenixes, mandarin ducks, and dumplings. They looked like they were embroidered by themselves and had exquisite workmanship.

Zuo Lingquan raised his hand and glanced at Tang Jingyan who was combing his hair. He was about to put it into the box at a speed of lightning speed, but Tang Jingyan remembered this and quickly stood up, squeezed Zuo Lingquan away with his shoulders, picked it up and put it into the wooden box:

"I'll clean it up, there's not a lot of things."

Seeing this, Zuo Lingquan naturally didn't help. When Tang Jingwen secretly placed his close-fitting clothes under the box, he went up and hugged the stacked wooden boxes and jewelry boxes, went downstairs to put them with the items that Jiang Yi carried, and then ran up and helped Tang Jingwen out of the inn.

When the ferry arrived, the monks on Shuanlong Port doubled, and the dock was full of people boarding the boat, including children from all walks of life in standard robes.

The Nine Sects Alliance is a passage for cultivators outside to get ashore. The scope covers half of Yuyao Continent. It is conceivable how many monks will participate.

Although the winter solstice has officially begun, the preliminary screening has begun last year. Most of the monks at the port came for the alliance of the Nine Sects, but it is unknown how many of them can really enter the Nine Sects.

Tang Jingyan walked under the oil-paper umbrella held up by Zuo Lingquan and looked up at the riverside.

A huge ship is moored along the Qingdu River. The ship building is five stories high, with carved beams and painted road lines and beautiful lines. The emblem of the Yinyuelin Sect at the top of the ship building is probably the size of a building. The deck is densely packed with figures and different clothes, so Tang Jingyan can't tell whether it is an ordinary person or a practitioner.

Tang Jingwen was born in the city of Donghua City. He saw many ships coming and going, but this was the first time he saw such a big ship. He looked up at his cheek and asked:

"How did this ship be built? It's too big. I think it's okay to install thousands of people."

Zuo Lingquan was also shocked when he first saw it in the morning. However, he had been wandering around Shuanlong Port these days and had a rough understanding of the basic knowledge of practicing. It was no wonder that he saw this giant ferry, and he explained:

"The ferry travels between Yunshui Jiantan and Linyuan City, with a total journey of more than 24,000 miles, and only once a month. The ship is naturally very large. Under full load, it can take more than 3,000 people, but most of them have no room and can only stand on the deck. The powerful place of this ship is not only big. When it comes to the morning, it goes upstream from the Qingdu River, and the entire ship is directly suspended on the river surface, just like a ground-effect aircraft..."

Tang Jingyan naturally didn't understand the meaning of these strange words, so he could only nod his head as if he was comprehensible.

The group walked around and took a look, and soon boarded the immortal ferry built by Yinyue Forest from the special passage of the envoy.

Although it is an immortal ferry, there is no rule that ferry is not ordinary people. As long as you can afford to pay for the money of the gods, the difference between immortals and mortals is sometimes not so obvious. The ferry is densely packed with people, and many young monks stand on the deck. On the observation deck on the top of the boat building, you can occasionally see a few well-dressed monks. From the perspective of their demeanor, they may be serious immortal masters or fairies.

After Zuo Lingquan got on the boat with the envoys, he was taken to the third floor of the boat building. He turned left and right and walked through several corridors, and came to a row of rooms where he could enjoy the river view along the coast.

Although the environment is good, the room on the ferry is definitely not as wide as the inn. It is just a single room with simple furnishings. Apart from the bed, tables and chairs, and a futon for monks to meditate, there is nothing else.

Tang Jingyan walked a long way, and was weak and a little tired. When she entered the room, she sat down on the bed.

Zuo Lingquan put his belongings on the table and half-squatted to help take off his embroidered shoes:

"Sister Tang, please lie down and rest for a while. Just call me if you have anything, and I'll come over at any time."

Tang Jingyan's feet were suddenly held, and she was stunned for a moment before she reacted. She shrank slightly, and her face turned red:

"I'll just take it off myself. I'm a woman, so how can I ask you to help take off your shoes? You can go and do your business. I'll just call you if I have something to do."

Seeing this, Zuo Lingquan let go of his boneless feet in disappointment and stood up:

"Then I'll go out first."

Tang Jingyan said 'um', hesitated for a moment, and put the dumpling on Zuo Lingquan's hand:

"You take it out for a walk, otherwise I won't sleep well at night, and it will make me unable to sleep."

Tuanzi has been suffocating Tang Jingyan for a few days and has long been so busy that he quickly jumped onto Zuo Lingquan's shoulders with two "chi" sounds.

Zuo Lingquan raised his hand and touched it, but he didn't mean to look at Tang Jingyan taking off his clothes and sleeping. He turned around and brought the door from outside.

The ferry is moored in Shuanlong Port, and there are many people going out to breathe. There are three or two monks chatting everywhere in the corridor. Several envoys from small countries are also standing at the windows, enjoying the river view along the coast in the viewing corridor.

Zuo Lingquan just closed the door and turned around and saw Cheng Jiujiang jogging:

"Brother Lingquan, I just walked around. The hall below is interesting. Let's go over and take a look."

Zuo Lingquan took a ferry for the first time and felt it was fresh. He carried the chubby dumplings and came to the first floor of the boat building with Cheng Jiujiang.

On the first floor of the boat building is a hall where there are dense monks standing inside. An old man in a robe holding a folding fan in his hand and saying something, but no sound can be heard from outside.

Cheng Jiujiang worked as a wild cultivator for a while in previous years, but he had never run too far, but he had been on the ferry. He was familiar with the journey and took two white jade jams to the manager at the door and took Zuo Lingquan into it.

The hall is quite large, and there are probably nearly a hundred monks standing inside. They are generally not old, most of them are disciples of the sect, including young and beautiful fairies. However, those who are beautiful are surrounded by fellow disciples, and it is obviously impossible to squeeze in one piece.

Zuo Lingquan squatted on his shoulders, squeezed in the crowd for a while, and came to the front of the hall.

There is a water curtain on the platform in front, and the water curtain shows a scene of two people competing on the ring. The old man holding a folding fan is explaining carefully:

"...The Fulong Fist is enough, but unfortunately the timing is a bit too bad. The Dragon Slayer took too early, and he took advantage of the loopholes when he punched him... Wow, good body skills..."?!

This is……

Zuo Lingquan had a strange expression, opened his mouth, and wanted to speak but stopped.

Cheng Jiujiang saw Zuo Lingquan "stunned on the spot" without any surprise, and acted like a person who had experienced it and explained seriously:

"This is the spiritual weapon 'Water Moon' created by Tiandicheng. The principle is similar to the Tiandun Card. As long as you open it, you can see the scenery thousands of miles away. We usually call this thing "Qianliyan". The disciples of Fulong Mountain are competing..."

Zuo Lingquan naturally didn't need Cheng Jiujiang to explain the principles to him. He stood in the crowd and watched the two inner disciples of the Nine Sects discuss with interest. The young monks in the hall also watched with relish, and almost no one spoke.

Tuanzi stood on Zuo Lingquan's shoulder and was not interested in the old man's nonsense. After rubbing Zuo Lingquan for a moment, he found that Zuo Lingquan did not take him to continue walking, he was a little disappointed and turned his eyes to other spirit beasts in the hall.

Jingtu is rooted in the southern part of Yuyaozhou and is famous all over the world for its ability to control beasts. Shuanlong Port is only one stop from Jingtu. There are many monks on the boat carrying spirit beasts. The most common ones are birds that can be used for reconnaissance, and there are also many such people as centipedes, scorpions, snakes, etc., because of their spirituality, they will most likely not hurt people at will, and the monks around them are not surprised.

Seeing so many spirit beasts with all colors and fragrances, the eyes of the dumplings, like black beans, gradually lit up, and it felt like they were entering the cafeteria! He tilted his little head and finally locked his eyes on a shiny little snake. The little snake was red all over, and it was tied to a monk's wrist, which obviously had a master.

"Jiji~"

Tuanzi rubbed Zuo Lingquan with his head, wanting Zuo Lingquan to grab it for lunch; it was a pity that Zuo Lingquan couldn't understand the bird's songs, and he focused on watching the game, but just raised his hand and touched his head to comfort him.
