Chapter 922: The Three Great Traditions of Buddhism

(The Chinese New Year is coming soon, and there are a lot of things. I often run around recently and I am so tired when I get home, so I have less updates, sorry!)

Xuan Gang has a grand atmosphere, breaking free from the entanglement of the world and reaching the state of breath on the other side. Standing there does not seem to belong to this world, stand alone, and stand outside the world!

This is the profound realm atmosphere of Sanzang’s martial arts!

Among the three major martial arts inheritances of Buddhism, in terms of the realm of essence, energy and spirit, it is definitely the most profound inheritance of the Three Zangsang, because Tang Sanzang was a master of Eastern and Western Buddhism back then. His achievements and status in Buddhism were definitely greater than that of Buddha Shakyamuni. However, after all, Buddhism was not created by him, and there was only one Buddha, so he was still not as good as Buddha!

However, this cannot deny the realm and achievements of Tang Sanzang!

In the realm of Buddhism, Tripitaka martial arts represents breaking away from the shackles of the world and reaching the other shore.

The Vajra Sect martial arts represents pure battle, not talking about realm, but only believing in one's own fist!

The Mahayana Sutra, the martial arts masterpieces inherited by Sakyamuni, represent wisdom that can see through everything in the world!

Therefore, in simple terms, we can see that the inheritance of the Three Tsang is the most profound and reaches the other shore pursued by Buddhism. This is also one of the purposes of Tang Sanzang's journey to the west to obtain the scriptures, and to solve all sins and pains in the world. In the end, he realized the transcendent state of reaching the other shore in his own realm, which is no less than that of the Buddha Shakyamuni.

However, this is only the realm of Buddhism, not the combat power of martial arts!

Judging from purely based on combat power, the strongest part of the Vajra Sect is the strongest!

Because the Vajra Sect’s martial arts has only one purpose, that is, combat. Although it also belongs to Buddhist martial arts, it is not to comprehend the Buddhist scriptures, but to become a Buddha with strength. When the strength reaches its peak, it will naturally become a Buddha.

Thousands of years ago, Tang Sanzang traveled west to obtain scriptures and was defeated by the master of the Vajra Sect. When he returned, he had already achieved great martial arts, but he was still defeated by the master of the Vajra Sect. Finally, after he comprehended the realm in the Central Plains and comprehended the realm of the other shore, he defeated the leader of the Vajra Sect at that time and became the number one Buddhist master recognized by both Eastern and Western Buddhism at that time.

Therefore, in fact, Sun Wukong’s title of Fighting and Fighting Buddha in Journey to the West should actually belong to Tang Sanzang!

However, at that time, the Vajra Sect was no longer in its heyday. The strength of the Vajra Sect leader at that time was even more different from that of the Vajra Sect masters. Therefore, no one can tell whether the strongest martial arts person in Buddhist history was the Vajra Sect master, Tang Sanzang, or Buddha Shakyamuni, because the three of them were not from the same age.

Just like Guan Gong and Qin Qiong who have been arguing about thousands of years, there is no conclusion after all.

Wang Cheng looked at Xuan Gang and did not take action as soon as possible.

Monk Xuangang was standing there like an eternal existence, like a Buddha, the breath around his body was constantly brewing and surrounding him, and the Buddha's name appeared naturally, as if the Western Paradise was standing in the middle, enjoying the purity of the Paradise.

Everyone around looked at the two of them, holding their breath, looking forward to the battle. Whether they had their own position or not, they only had a sense of expectation to observe the battle at this moment, even the Taoist Gu Long, who had just been defeated by Wang Cheng, was no exception.

Because they all knew that these two people almost represent the top martial arts level of the Buddhist and Taoist sects on China. This battle was also the top duel between the two major Buddhist and Taoist sects.
