Chapter five hundred and ninety-ninth on the road to the west, three monsters(1/2)
Listening to the familiar and crisp sound, he looked up slightly at Wangyue who appeared in the Zen room at some point. Xuanzang couldn't help but fold his hands and smiled lightly: "Donor, I believe you can hear clearly what Xuanzang said before. Moreover, it seems not good to go in without warning."
"Hmph! I like to go in without warning!" Wangyue snorted: "Besides, all the four elements of monks are empty, and this is not your place, right? Since it is not, then do you have to control me when I enter here?"
Xuanzang, who smiled bitterly slightly at the unreasonable words of Wangyuezhi, said a little helplessly: "Does the donor come to me, just to test whether Xuanzang's determination to travel westward?"
"No need to test! I already know your intentions. But I am thinking that the journey west is difficult, the journey is long, and the future is unknown. Should you die from the mouths of wealth, wolf, tiger, leopard, demon, or from the natural disaster of diseases?" Wangyue glanced at Xuanzang and said calmly.
Xuanzang, who flashed a hint of helplessness in his eyes, said calmly: "Life and death have their own destiny, but I will not change this heart."
"I really wish I could kill you now!" Wangyue gritted her teeth and looked at Xuanzang with some "vicious" look.
Xuanzang, whose eyes were slightly closed, seemed to have not heard it, and seemed to be looking at death as if he was about to wait for Wangyue to take action.
"Xuanzang, do you really think you can succeed?" Seeing this, Wangyue, who was silent for a while, couldn't help but soften again, and looked at Xuanzang with a slightly complicated expression.
When Xuanzang opened his eyes lightly, he clasped his hands together and said, "It is up to man to do it! Even if the road ahead is very dangerous and Xuanzang cannot reach this life, he will never give up in the next life."
"Haha..." Wangyue smiled, and his beautiful eyes turned red quietly: "Then I will help the master achieve all his wishes and achieve perfect merits and reach the West."
Looking at Wangyue who was about to turn and leave after saying that, Xuanzang, whose eyes flashed slightly, suddenly said, "Thank you, Senior Sister!"
His steps were slightly paused, and then he looked at the moon and walked faster than the Zen room.
Not long after Wangyue left, a bright light flashed in the Zen room, and a handsome young man in white brocade clothes appeared.
"Senior Brother Xiaoyue!" Seeing the visitor, Xuanzang couldn't help but clasp his hands together and said politely.
Xiaoyue, who walked up to the cushion in front of Xuanzang with a gentle smile, waved her hand to take out the tea table, tea stove, and tea cup, couldn't help but say, "Xuanzang, you are about to set off, I'll come to practice it for you. If you don't drink, then we will use tea instead of wine tonight, how about it?"
"Senior Brother Xiaoyue came today. Did he also persuade me not to travel west?" Xuanzang couldn't help asking.
Xiaoyue, who was skilled in cooking tea, shook her head slightly and said, "I don't like others to interfere with what I do, and I don't like to interfere with what others do. Let's only taste tea tonight, not talk about anything else."
"Besides! My sister just doesn't want you to suffer all the way, that's all. You should understand her!" Xiaoyue, who turned up to look at Xuanzang, said slowly with a slightly positive expression.
Listening to Xiaoyue's words, Xuanzang, who was slightly stunned, became silent.
"Come on, Xuanzang, try the tea I cook!" After a while, Xiaoyue smiled and poured a cup of freshly cooked tea to Xuanzang slightly.
Xuanzang nodded and tasted it lightly. He couldn't help but say, "The wonderful food of the immortal family is not as good as that of Senior Sister Wangyue who cooked it personally last time."
"My sister has cooked tea for you?" Xiaoyue, who was a little surprised, couldn't help but feel depressed: "Is she cooking better than me? Even so, you don't have to say it in front of me, right?"
"Mencius should not lie!" Xuanzang said calmly, leaving Xiaoyue speechless for a moment.
Xiaoyue, who poured herself a cup of tea, tasted it lightly, feeling the same smell as chewing wax, and couldn't help but say, "Maybe I was wrong tonight. It's really not interesting to have a monk tasting tea!"
"The four elements of Buddhism are empty, Senior Brother Xiaoyue has too much care!" Xuanzang clasped his hands together and said.
Xiaoyue was stunned when she heard this. Then she put down the teacup and shook her head and said, "Okay! Drink slowly, I have something to do, let's go first."
Seeing Xiaoyue's figure moving into a stream of light disappearing as she spoke, Xuanzang shook his head slightly, and then he slowly started to taste the tea with a calm expression.
Outside the temple, Ao Yue, who was walking back and forth in a dark blue silk skirt, saw Xiaoyue suddenly appearing in front of her, and couldn't help but say in surprise: "You'll come out so soon?"
"Hey! That monk who is ignorant of the charm has been too hard to chat with him. Let's go! I heard that there are many delicious foods in Chang'an City. Since it has come, wouldn't it be a pity if I don't taste it?" Xiaoyue, who shook her head and said with a smile, left Hongfu Temple and headed towards Chang'an City with a smile.
...
The next morning, Emperor Taizong set up a dynasty, gathered civil and military officials, wrote the scriptures and used the pass-through seal. An imperial guards heard: "Today is a lucky star for people, and it is suitable to travel far away."
The King of Tang was overjoyed and saw the Huangmen official again saying, "My brother, Master Yu, waited for the order outside the gate."
Emperor Taizong hurriedly ordered Xuan to go to the treasure hall and said, "Brother Yu, today is an auspicious day for travel. This is a pass. I have another purple gold bowl, which I will send you to cook on the way. I will choose two long-distance followers, and a silver horse, which will give you the strength to travel far. You can go on this trip."
Xuanzang was overjoyed. Even though he thanked him and received the things, he had no intention of staying. The King of Tang arranged the lords and sent them to the outside of the pass with many officials. He saw the monks and disciples of Hongfu Temple all sent Xuanzang's winter and summer clothes outside the pass. When the King of Tang saw him, he first taught him to pack his luggage and horses, and then took the official to hold a pot to drink wine. Emperor Taizong praised the title and asked again: "What is the name of the emperor?"
Xuanzang said: "I am a monk, but I dare not be called a monk."
Taizong said: "At that time, the Bodhisattva said that there were three sects of sutras in the West. I could refer to the sutras and take the number. How about the name of the three sects?"
Xuanzang thanked him again and answered the Imperial Wine and said, "Your Majesty, wine is the first precept for the monk's family. I can't drink."
Taizong said: "Today's trip is different than other things. This is a vegetarian wine, just drink this one to give me the farewell."
Sanzang did not dare to accept it, so he received the wine and was about to drink it. Emperor Taizong lowered his head, picked up a pinch of dust on his fingers, and bounced it into the wine.
Sanzang didn't understand the meaning, and Taizong smiled and said, "Brother Yu, when will you go back to the West when will you go back?"
Sanzang said: "It only took three years. I went straight back to Shangguo."
Taizong said: "As time goes by, the mountains are far away, the road is far away, and I can enter this wine: I would rather love a twist of soil in my hometown than love a thousand taels of gold in a foreign land."
Sanzang realized the meaning of twisting the earth, and then thanked him for all his gratitude and drank it all. He said thanks and left after leaving the pass.
The King of Tang watched Sanzang leave and then ordered people to return.
But Sanzang said that since he left the King of Tang, he rushed to Famen Temple for one or two days. The abbot of this temple, Elder Shangfang, led more than 500 monks, and arranged them on both sides. He brought them inside and showed them tea. After the tea, he went to the vegetarian room, and he didn't realize that he stayed there late at night.
The monks talked about the Buddhist order under the lamp and the reason for going to the West to obtain the scriptures. Some said that the water is far away and the mountains are high, some say that there are many roads, some say that the steep cliffs are difficult. Some say that the poisonous demons are hard to descend. Sanzang does not speak his mouth, but he nods his head with his fingers. The monks could not understand the meaning, and they clasped their hands and asked, "Why is the master nodding his head?"
Sanzang replied calmly: "The mind arises, all kinds of demons arise; the mind is destroyed, all kinds of demons are destroyed. My disciple once made a great vow to the Buddha in Huasheng Temple. I cannot help but fulfill this heart. When I go, I will definitely go to the Western Heaven to see the Buddha and seek sutras, so that our Dharma cycle can be reincarnated, and I wish the Holy Lord Emperor's Picture to be forever."
When all the monks heard this, everyone envied them. They all proclaimed them, and they called "Loyal Master Xuan Dadao" and praised them. They asked the master to come to bed and sleep.
It was the bamboo that beat the trunk moon again, and the chicken sang the clouds of the morning. The monks got up and packed tea and ate early. Xuanzang then put on a cassock and went to the main hall to worship in front of the Buddha, saying, "Disciple Chen Xuanzang went to the West to seek scriptures, but his naked eyes were foolish and did not recognize the true form of a living Buddha. Now I wish to make a vow: burn incense on the road, meet Buddhas on the road, worship Buddhas when they meet Buddhas, and sweep the pagodas when they meet Buddhas. I hope my Buddha is compassionate, and I will appear in a six-meter-meter-old golden body, give the scriptures, and leave them to the East Land."
After the blessing, Sanzang returned to the abbot to enter the vegetarian camp. After the vegetarian camp, the two followers sorted out their horses and made their journey. Sanzang left the mountain gate and said goodbye to the monks. The monks could not bear to part, so they sent them ten miles away and returned in tears.
Sanzang then advanced westward. It was that autumn season. But see:
The trees in several villages fall, reed flowers break, and the maple and poplar fall red leaves fall. The misty and rain of the road is sparse, the old friends are sparse, the yellow chrysanthemums are beautiful, the mountain bones are thin, and the cold lotus is broken. The white rosy leaves are shining in the frost and snow, and the setting sun is lonely wild goose falls in the sky. The clouds fly in the wild, the mysterious birds leave, the geese arrive, the loud and loud sounds are broken in the night.
Sanzang and the two eldest sons accompanied each other for several days and arrived at Gongzhou City. There were officials from Gongzhou who were welcomed into the city. They rested overnight and left the city early the next time.
I was hungry and thirsty all the way, stayed at night and walked for two or three days, and then went to Hezhouwei again. This was the border of the mountains and rivers of the Tang Dynasty. There were already generals in the border area and monks and Taoists in this place. I heard that the imperial envoy Yu went to the west to see the Buddha, and all respected him. I took the monk's advice to go to Fuyuan Temple to rest. The monks in this temple visited one by one and arranged a night's vegetarian. After the vegetarian, I ordered the two followers to feed the horses, and the sky was unclear. When the rooster crowed and the followers were called, they alarmed the monks and prepared tea and vegetarian offerings. After the vegetarian, they left the border.
The elder was too busy and got up too early. It turned out that in the late autumn season, the rooster crowed early, so there was only four days. A group of three people, four horses, faced the clear frost, looked at the bright moon, and walked dozens of miles away. Seeing a mountain, they had to pluck grass and find a way. They couldn't say it was rugged and difficult to walk, and they were afraid that they had a wrong path. While they were just thinking, they suddenly made a mistake and even the three people fell into the pit. Sanzang was panicked for a moment, and the followers were also terrified. But they were frightened, and they heard it roaring and shouting, "Take the future, take the future!"
I saw a strong wind rolling, fifty or sixty evil spirits rushing out, pulling Sanzang and followers up. The mage was trembling and watched with a peek. The demon king sitting on it was very vicious, it was really:
He is majestic and fierce, and has a dignified appearance. His eyes are flying brightly and his thunder sounds are thundering everywhere.
The sawed teeth are stretched out outside the mouth, the chiseled teeth are exposed beside the cheeks. The beautiful body is surrounded by the body, and the literary spots are wrapped around the spine.
Steel beards are rare in flesh, and their hooks are as sharp as frost. The Yellow Lord of the East Sea is afraid of it, and the White King of the South Mountain is.
Such an image made the three zodiac lose their souls, and the two followers had soft bones and numb muscles. The demon king ordered them to tie them up, and the demons tied the three of them together with ropes. Just as they were about to arrange to swallow them, they heard a noise outside, and someone came to report: "The king, Xiong Shanjun and the Teshishi are here."
When Sanzang heard this, he looked up and saw a black man walking in front of him. How did he look like:
The heroic and powerful are more courageous, and they are light and strong. They wade through the water and show their anger. They have always been dreaming of the good dreams, but now they show their heroic postures. The green trees can climb and break, and they know that the cold is good at telling the time. They are accurate and spiritual, so they are called Shanjun.
I saw a fat man coming from behind again. How did you think he looked like:
He has a stubborn and horned crown, and his shoulders are shrugged. His personality is green and his clothes are stable, and his hooves are often slow. His name is the father of the clan, and his original name is the mother of the mother and his character is called the jing. Those who can be a field are meritorious, so they are called the special servant.
These two swayed and walked into it, and the devil rushed out to greet him.
Xiong Shanjun said: "General Yin has always been proud. You can congratulate me, you can congratulate me!"
The special servant said: "General Yin is so happy, so happy!"
The devil smiled and bowed and said, "How about the second duke in the past few days?"
Shan Jun said: "Only guard the simple ears."
Chu Shi said, "Only at any time."
After the three of them, they sat down and talked and laughed.
I saw the servant tied up and cried in pain. The black man said, "Where are these three?"
The devil said: "Those who come here are here."
The teacher smiled and said, "Can you be able to entertain guests?"
The devil said: "Flavor, flatter!"
Shanjun waved his hand and said, "Don't use it all, eat two, and keep one."
The devil king led Nuo and called on his left and right, cut off his followers' stomachs and hearts, chopped them up, gave them the head and heart to the two guests, and distributed the limbs to their own flesh and blood to each demon. He could only hear the sound of Yuma, which was like a tiger eating a lamb. He had eaten all his food in an instant. Sanzang had never seen such a formation and was almost scared to death. This was the first suffering he had when he first left Chang'an!
While Sanzang was afraid, the east gradually turned white. The two monsters were dispersed until the dawn of heaven, and they all said, "Today's great trouble, I will pay my respects every day."
Then, the three monsters and the little monsters turned into a demon fog and retreated.
At a moment, the red sun rose. Sanzang was drowsy and could not tell the difference between the east, south and north. At the point where he was desperate, he suddenly saw an old man coming with a stick in his hand. He walked forward and brushed his hand. The ropes were broken. He blew a breath on the opposite side. Sanzang Fang Su knelt down and said, "Thank you, my husband. I saved my life!"
The old man replied with a smile: "Get up! Have you ever lost anything?"
Sanzang said: "My monk's follower has been eaten by strange people, but he just doesn't know where the luggage and horses are?"
The old man used a stick to specify, "That's not a horse, two bags?"
When Sanzang looked back, it was his object and he was not disappointed. He felt a little relieved and asked the old man: "Mr., what is this place? Why is it?"
The old man said, "This is Shuangcha Ridge, which is the nest of tigers and wolfs. Why did you fall into this?"
Sanzang said with lingering fear: "When the chicken crowed, I left the Hezhou Guard. Unexpectedly, I got up early, and I drifted the dew, and suddenly lost here. Seeing a demon king, who was too fierce and stubborn, I tied up the monk with two followers. Another black man, who was called Xiongshanjun; a fat man, who was called a special servant, walked in and called the demon king General Yin. The three of them ate my two followers, and the sky was dispersed. I don't think I had such a great fate, and I felt that my father-in-law came here to save me?"
The old man said, "The master is a bison spirit, the mountain king is a bear and a crook spirit, and the general Yin is a tiger spirit. The evil spirits on both sides are all mountain spirits, tree ghosts, monsters, and wolfs. It is just because your nature is Yuanming, so you can't eat you. Come with me and lead you on the way."
Sanzang was very grateful, so he took the bag on the horse, took the reins, followed the old man out of the pit and walked onto the main road. However, he tied the horse to the grass head beside the road, turned to thank the father-in-law, who turned into a breeze, stepped onto a red-topped white crane, and soared into the air.
