Chapter 604: The Jade Dragon transforms the horse, and the Bodhisattva bestows the saddle(1/2)
The two gods heard the impatientness in Sun Wukong's tone, and couldn't help but look at each other and said, "So that's the case. The stream is innocent, but it's deep, steep and wide, and the water is completely clear. The crows and magpies dare not fly by. Because the water is clear, they recognize it as birds of the same group, and they often throw themselves into the water, so they are called Yingchou Du Ridge. But a few years ago, Guanyin Bodhisattva rescued a jade dragon because he visited the monks and sent him here, and taught him to wait for the monks and not to do evil. When he was hungry, he went ashore to rush some birds and magpies to eat, or to catch some roe deer to eat. I don't know why he was ignorant, but today he collided with the Great Sage."
Sun Wukong's expression moved, and then he said helplessly: "One time, he insulted Lao Sun and circled for several rounds. The next time, Lao Sun scolded him, and he couldn't come out again, so he used a method to storm the rivers and stir up the water of his stream. He was about to come up and fight for it. I didn't know that Lao Sun's stick was heavy, so he couldn't hold it up, so he turned into a water snake, drilling in the grass. I came to find him, but there was no trace."
The land hurriedly said, "The Great Sage doesn't know that there are thousands of holes in this stream, so the waves are far-reaching. I think there is also a hole here, so he will drill down. There is no need for the Great Sage to get angry. If you want to capture this dragon, you just need to ask Guanyin to come and naturally fall down."
When Sun Wukong saw that he said, he thought about it briefly and called the mountain god and land to meet Sanzang and talked about the past.
Sanzang couldn't help but say, "If you want to invite the Bodhisattva, when will you come back? How can I endure the hunger and coldness of the monk?"
Before he finished speaking, he heard a golden head in the dark air shouting: "Great Sage, you don't need to leave. The little god will go and invite the Bodhisattva to come."
He secretly scolded Tang Monk, who only knew how to eat. He was overjoyed when he heard this and hurriedly said, "I'm tired! Go quickly!"
Then Jiedi rushed to the south sea.
Sun Wukong ordered the mountain god to guard the land master and to go to the vegetarian ceremony every day to seek vegetarian offerings. He was unwilling to go to the ravine to patrol.
But when the golden head Jiedi arrived at the South China Sea, he pressed the auspicious light until he reached the purple bamboo forest of Luojia Mountain. He sent the golden armored heavens and the envoys of Hui'an to see the Bodhisattva.
The Bodhisattva said calmly: "What are you doing?"
Jie Di hurriedly said respectfully: "Report to Bodhisattva, Tang Monk lost his horse in the steep stream of Yingchou Mountain, and was so anxious that the Great Sage Sun was in a dilemma. When he asked the earth god in this place, he said that the evil dragon sent by the Bodhisattva there was swallowing it. The Great Sage brought the little god to ask the Bodhisattva to surrender the evil dragon and return it to his horse."
The Bodhisattva nodded and said, "This guy was originally the son of Ao Qin from Xihai. He set fire to the palace. His father accused him of disobedience and committed a death sentence in heaven. I personally met the Jade Emperor, asked him to come down and taught him to do some force with Tang Seng. Why did he eat Tang Seng's horse? So I said this. Wait for me to come."
The Bodhisattva descended to the lotus platform and left the fairy cave. He walked with Jie Di and walked across the South China Sea in the auspicious light. There is a poem to prove it, and the poem says:
The Buddha preached the Tripitaka Sutra, and Bodhisattvas spread good deeds to the Great Wall. Maha’s witty words are known to the heaven and earth, and Prajna’s mantras save ghosts and spirits.
This caused the golden cicada to shed its shell. Therefore, Xuanzang was asked to practice again. It was just because the road blocked the eagle's sorrowful stream, and the dragon son returned to the real world and turned into a horse's shape.
The Bodhisattva and Jie Di arrived at the Snake Pan Mountain for a while. However, they kept the auspicious clouds in the air and looked down. They saw Sun Wukong shouting and cursing by the stream. The Bodhisattva smiled and immediately called Jie Di to come. Jie Di pressed the cloud head and went to the stream. He said to Sun Wukong, "Great Sage! The Bodhisattva is here!"
When Sun Wukong heard this, he rushed into the air and shouted angrily at Guanyin Bodhisattva: "You seven Buddhas, the compassionate leader! How can you give birth to a method to harm me!"
The Bodhisattva shouted, "I will give you, the bold Ma Liu, the red buttocks of Cun Yu! I will do my best to save someone who seeks the scriptures and remind him to save your life. Why don't you come to thank me for your life and yell with me instead?"
Sun Wukong couldn't help but snorted, "You've made me so good! Since you let me come out, I'll let you play freely. The day before yesterday, you were facing me at the sea, hurt me a few words, and just teach me to do my best to serve Tang Monk. Why did you give him a flower hat and coax me to wear it on your head and suffer? Grow this hoop on Lao Sun's head and teach him how to recite a tight hoop curse. The old monk chanted and said, and taught me that the head hurts and hurts. Isn't this you hurt me?"
The Bodhisattva smiled and said, "You monkey! You don't follow the instructions and will not be able to bear the right result. If you don't restrain you like this, you will deceive the heavens and know how bad you are! If you are like the disaster that happened in the past, who will take care of it? You must have this demon before you will be willing to enter my yoga path!"
Sun Wukong said in a muffled voice: "This is my devil, why did you send the sinful dragon here to become a spirit and teach him to eat my master's horse? This is also a bad thing if you do evil to do evil!"
The Bodhisattva said: "I personally told the Jade Emperor about that dragon and asked him here to help the monks. Do you think that ordinary horses from the East have survived these thousands of mountains and rivers? How can we get to the Lingshan Buddha Land? We must get this dragon horse before we can get it."
Sun Wukong shouted helplessly: "As he is so afraid of Lao Sun, he can't hide, what can he do?"
The Bodhisattva called Jie Didao: "You go to the ravine and shout, 'The Third Prince of Yulong, Aoqin Dragon King, come out, there is the Bodhisattva of the South China Sea here.' Then he comes out."
Then Jie Di took his life and hurried to the edge of the stream and called twice.
The little dragon leaped through the waves, jumped out of the water, turned into a human elephant, stepped on the clouds, and went to the sky to worship the Bodhisattva, "I have been waiting here for a long time, and I have never heard of the news of those who have learned the scriptures."
The Bodhisattva pointed at Sun Wukong and said, "Isn't this the great disciple of the scholars?"
When Xiaolong saw this, he couldn't help but say, "Bodhisattva, this is my opponent. Yesterday I was hungry and ate his horse. He leaned on some strength to fight me back with great force, and scolded me so hard that I didn't dare to come out. He never mentioned the words "Seeking the scriptures."
Sun Wukong said depressedly: "You have never asked me what my name is, why did I say it?"
Xiaolong said: "I have never asked you where the demon came from? You shouted: "What are you not there, just return me to Malay!"
The Bodhisattva nodded and said, "That monkey head is dedicated to self-improvement, so he is willing to praise others? I will still submit to you when I go there. If I ask, I will mention the word "Seeking the Sutra first, but I don't have to worry about it, so I will naturally be bent."
Sun Wukong felt unhappy when he heard this, but he just responded depressedly.
The Bodhisattva stepped forward and picked the pearl under the little dragon's neck, dipped the willow branches out of nectar, brushed it on his body, blew the fairy air, and shouted: "Change!"
The dragon immediately became his original horse feather, and then ordered: "You must work hard to restore your karma. After you succeed, you will surpass the ordinary dragon and return your golden body to the right result."
The little dragon held a cross bone in his mouth and could not speak. He nodded slightly and understood the promise.
The Bodhisattva asked Wukong to lead him to see Sanzang, and then said, "I will go back to the sea."
Sun Wukong stepped forward to stop the Bodhisattva and said, "I won't go anymore, I won't go anymore! The Western Road is so rugged, how long will it take to protect this mortal monk? It's like this, it's hard to survive, and how can I achieve what kind of merits and results! I won't go anymore. I won't go anymore!"
The Bodhisattva said: "You have not yet achieved human path, and you are willing to practice and enlightenment with all your heart; if you have escaped from natural disasters today, how can you become lazy? In our door, it is true. You must have faith and the right result. If you reach the point where the body is hurt and the body is hurt, I promise you to call it Tiantian, and the earthly spirit. When it is ten, I will come to save you in person. Come here, and I will give you the ordinary skills."
The Bodhisattva picked three willow leaves and placed them behind the practitioner's head, shouting: "Change!"
The three willow leaves immediately became three life-saving hairs. The Bodhisattva told him: "If it is time to be ineffective, you can adapt to the situation and save you from the troubles."
After hearing these many good words, Sun Wukong reluctantly gave in and thanked the Bodhisattva.
The fragrance of the Bodhisattva surrounds the fog, and the colorful mist floats, and it turns to Putuo and leaves.
Then Sun Wukong pressed the cloud head and grabbed the mane of the dragon horse and came to see Sanzang and said, "Master, you have a horse!"
Sanzang was overjoyed when he saw this and said, "Advisor, why is this horse fatter than before? Where are you looking for it?"
When Sun Wukong saw Tang Monk's happy look, he curled his lips and said, "Master, you are still dreaming! But it was the golden head Jiedi who invited the Bodhisattva to turn the dragon in the stream into our white horse. Their hairs are the same, but they lack saddles and bridles, and they are holding Lao Sun in the future."
Sanzang asked in shock, "Where is the Bodhisattva? Wait for me to thank her."
Sun Wukong couldn't help but say, "The Bodhisattva has arrived in the South China Sea at this time and is impatient."
Sanzang then tied up the soil and burned incense, looked south to worship, and after, he got up and packed up with Sun Wukong and advanced.
Sun Wukong drank and retreated from the mountain god's land, ordered Jie Di Gongcao, but asked his master to get on the horse. Sanzang hurriedly said, "How can the horse without a saddle be ridden? Let's wait for the boat to cross the stream and then make a place."
Sun Wukong said in his heart: "This master is so unaware of the current situation! Where does the boat come from in this wilderness mountain? If he stays here for a long time, he will know the water level, so he will ride him as a boat."
Sanzang had no choice but to follow his words and cross the horse. Sun Wukong carried his luggage and accompanied him to the ravine.
I saw a fisherman carrying a raft of dead trees on the upper stream. Sun Wukong was stunned and then hurriedly greeted with his hands: "That old fisherman, come, come. I went to Dongtu to obtain scriptures. My master was sad here, come and come to him."
When the fisherman heard this, he hurriedly supported him. Sun Wukong asked his master to get off the horse and support his left and right. Sanzang got on the raft, grabbed the horses, and put his luggage on. The old fisherman opened the raft, like the wind and arrows, and unconsciously passed the steep eagle stream and went to the west bank.
Sanzang taught Sun Wukong to untidy his bags, took out a few cents of money from the Tang Dynasty, and gave it to the old fisherman. The old fisherman stretched out a raft and said, "No money, no money."
After the words came to an end, the raft had already flowed into the vastness.
Sanzang was not very satisfied, so he just put his hands together to thank him.
Seeing this, Sun Wukong couldn't help but say, "Master, don't pay any respects. Don't you recognize him? He is the water god in this stream. He has never come to pick me up Lao Sun, and Lao Sun wants to beat him. But now he won't beat him, how dare you ask for money!"
When Tang Monk heard this, he seemed to believe it or not. He had to step on his horse and follow Sun Wukong to go straight to the road and run west. This is exactly: the vast and true nature is as strong as climbing the other shore, and he sincerely goes up to Lingshan.
After they left, the void on the cliff beside Yingchou Stream was slightly distorted, and two figures appeared, which were Yang Jiao and Nuwa.
"Hmph! Is that smelly dragon, can't follow me better than following an ordinary monk? I deserve it!" said the girl with some angrily.
Yang Jiao shook his head and smiled, "He will gain a lot of rewards after this hard work."
"What can you gain when you are a foot strength?" The girl was a little disbelief.
Yang Jiao smiled faintly and said nothing.
Besides, Tang Monk and his disciples were moving forward all the way, and the red sun was sinking west without realizing it, and the sky was getting late, but see:
The light clouds are chaotic. The mountain moon is dark. The frost is cold and the wind sounds are everywhere. When the lonely bird leaves, the vast bank is wide, and the sunset is bright and the distant mountains are low. Thousands of trees roar in the sparse forests, and the apes are crying alone in the empty ridge. There are no traces of people walking on the long distance, and when the boat returns to the night.
Sanzang was watching from a distance on his horse, and suddenly saw a manor next to the road. Sanzang couldn't help but say, "Wukong, there is someone in front of him, you can stay there. Let's go tomorrow morning."
Sun Wukong looked up and saw it and said, "Master, it's not someone else's courtyard."
Sanzang frowned and puzzled, "How isn't it?"
Sun Wukong hurriedly said, "The mansion has no flying fish and beast ridges. This is a temple."
As the master and disciple spoke, they had already reached the door. Sanzang got off his horse and saw three big characters on the door, which were "Lishe Temple". He looked at it curiously and nodded into the door. There was an old man there, with several beads hanging on the top. He clasped his hands to greet him, shouting: "Please sit, elder."
Sanzang hurriedly replied to the ceremony and went to the hall to worship the holy elephant. The old man called the boy to offer tea. After the tea, Sanzang asked the old man, "What is this temple 'lis club'?"
The old man smiled and explained, "The elders did not know that the place was the border of Xifan Hafei. Behind this temple there was a family who shared their devotion and set up this temple. The inside was a village land; the society was a god of the land. Every time they encountered spring plowing, summer weeding, autumn harvesting, and winter hiding, they set up three flowers and fruits to come here to worship the society to ensure the clear and auspicious seasons, the harvest of grains and the prosperity of the six animals."
When Sanzang heard this, he couldn't help but nodded with a smile and praised: "It's three miles away from home, and it's different from the rural customs. There is no such goodness in my family."
The old man asked curiously: "Where is the Elder's Fairyland?"
Sanzang said: "I am the one who went to the West to worship Buddha and pray for scriptures by the Tang Dynasty in the East. When I passed by Baofang, it was going to be late. I specially threw myself into the Holy Temple and stayed overnight. I went to the sky to light."
The old man was very happy when he heard this, said a few times and asked the boy to serve the meal. Sanzang thanked him after eating. Sun Wukong's eyes were sharp, and he saw a rope with clothes under his eaves. He was about to go, and he pulled it off and tied the horse's feet. Seeing this, the old man couldn't help but smile and said, "Where did this horse stolen?"
When Sun Wukong heard this, he immediately said angrily: "You old man, you don't know the level of your words! We are holy monks who worship Buddha, so how could we steal horses?"
The old man smiled and said, "It's not stolen. How come I can break the rope of my clothes without a saddle and bridle? "
Sanzang said with a tribute: "This naughty is just a stingy nature. If you want to tie a horse, you will ask the old man for a rope, so why did you break his cloak? Don't blame me, don't blame me. I'm not stolen. Yesterday I came east and arrived at the Yingchou Steep Streak. A white horse that I originally rode had all the saddles and bridles. Unexpectedly, there was a evil dragon in the stream that became a spirit in it. He swallowed my horse with saddles and bridles in one bite. Fortunately, my disciple had some skills, and he felt that Guanyin Bodhisattva came to the stream to capture the dragon. He taught him to become the white horse I originally rode, with all the hairs and bridles, and carried me to the west to worship Buddha. Now, after a day, I have arrived at the old ancestor's holy temple, and I have never had saddles and bridles."
The old man suddenly smiled and said, "Don't blame me, my old man is laughing, but you are serious. I had a few village money when I was a child, and I would like to ride a horse. But because I was in the past, I lost my fire and lost my lower heads. So I was used as a temple to pay homage to serve incense. Fortunately, the donor of the Houzhuang family recruited me to live. I still have a pair of saddles and bridles, which are my favorite things on weekdays. Even if I am so poor, I never would have been willing to sell them. I heard from my teacher's words, and the Bodhisattva was still rescued. The dragon taught him to turn into a horse to carry you. But my old man cannot be without peace. I will take the saddles and bridles tomorrow and I will send them to my teacher's back and beg for a smile."
When Sanzang heard this, he couldn't thank him all. He saw the boy take out the evening trest again. After the trest, he put the lamp on his hand and set up a shop to rest.
The next morning, Sun Wukong got up and said, "Master, I wish you the old man in the temple. Last night, I asked him if you want it, don't forgive him."
"You monkey head, you are so calculating! How can we monks be so greedy!" Tang Seng couldn't help but say.
After saying that, the old man, holding a pair of saddles and bridles, linings and reins, and everything he used immediately, was placed under the corridor and said, "Master, serve the saddles and bridles."
When Sanzang saw it, he received it happily. He asked Sun Wukong to take it and put it on his back and look at it. Is it true that the traveler walked forward and took it one by one and looked at it. It was indeed some good things. There is a poem to prove it, and the poem says:
The carved saddles are colorful and the silver stars are shining, and the treasure bench is bright and the golden thread is bright. The linings are several layers of velvet and mattes, and the reins are three purple silk ropes.
The bridle is covered with flowers, the cloud fan is drawn with gold and beast shapes. The ring is chewed into sharp iron, and the two draped with water to form hair tassels.
To be continued...
