Chapter 22 Departure

In the quiet evening, in the conference hall of Chenxi Village.

Everyone who had just finished dinner was discussing the departure to Yuesha Valley tomorrow.

Alvin has been confirmed to set off with Captain Murphy and his group: his strength has been recognized by Salose and Aureseli, leading the team - on the training ground.

"The three imprisoned Taoist marks have been made. What we need to do now is to place the three imprisoned Taoist marks and three inhibited Taoist marks in the Moon Shadow Valley!" Oreses held a crystal wine glass and tasted the honey wine in the glass.

Saloras also added: "The power of the six Taoist marks is enough to reseal the three Naru fragments, and it is time to end this storm!"

Captain Murphy also picked up the wine glass: "Cheers to the success of our operations tomorrow!"

The wine glasses of nine people are clinking together, and everyone hopes that tomorrow will be smooth sailing.

Silent night.

Alvin lay on the bed and looked out the window: Whether he could temporarily protect Chenxi Village depends on tomorrow!

The morning sword hanging on the wall swayed slightly under the night wind, as if responding to Alvin's mood.

...

The sun shone through the window as usual: Alvin had already put on his clothes and was wearing a sword of morning light on his back: He had to go to the garrison early to change into his defense and then have a breakfast.

After changing into the garrison's standard protective armor, Alvin walked into the house with his helmet in his arms: Captain Murphy and the Gemini sisters Arrida had already had a meal there: "Good morning, everyone!" Alvin greeted with a smile.

Captain Murphy nodded and signaled Alvin to sit next to him: "Time is still in short supply, otherwise you can customize a set of armor for you!"

Alvin picked up the knife and fork and smiled and said, "I'm wearing enough now. I'm afraid I'm just going on an outing this time. Of course, the people who handle the matter are respected Lady Salose and Aures!"

Aures fiddled with the fruit salad on the plate: "I also hope to finish the mission early and return to the Moon Palace. It has delayed my research progress here for too long!"

Today's breakfast was cooked very seriously. Considering that several people needed a lot of energy to perform tasks, the breakfast was relatively greasy, but with Cook's cooking skills, the taste was obviously good!

Everyone arrived one after another. Minara still put on her priestly robe, and she looked very holy, while Oliver, Lawson, Green and Brewster all wore their combat equipment.

Several people chatted and finished their breakfast. When everyone finished eating, Captain Murphy stood up: "Everyone, it's time for us to set off. May the Holy Light be with us!"

Alvin and his team were walking on the road in the village. Wendy still got up very early, collecting wild flowers that had just bloomed in the morning.

"Brother Alvin, where are you going to play?" Wendy shouted while sitting on the side of the road.

"There are bad things outside the village, let's go and beat it away!" Alvin said with a smile.

"Wendy, we are not in the village today. Can you protect the villagers?" asked Captain Murphy.

"Wendy will work hard to protect the village! You guys go quickly!" Wendy could hardly take down the flowers in her hand. She picked a few and handed them to Alvin: "I gave them to you!"

Alvin puts wild flowers at the joints of the armor: "Let's go, everyone!"

Under the morning sunlight, Alvin and his team advanced towards the Moon Shadow Valley.

...

After half a day, Alvin and the others walked to the periphery of Yueshadow Valley.

The bright sunshine seems to have no chance here. The once dense trees still stand, but the branches and leaves have long dried up: they have long lost the vitality of their lives.

Several people were resting on the spot for a while, and Brewster, the only magic breaker in the team, looked at the time: "In order to complete the task faster, we might as well act separately!"

Saloras thought for a while and finally agreed to the decision. According to everyone's idea: Evan, Priest Minara and Captain Murphy, Saloras and Sisters Aures, and the remaining Oliver, Lawson, Green and Brewster were divided into one group.

Aures took out two confinement markers from his storage bracelet and imposed a spell on it.

A faint arcane rune floated on the surface of the Taoist mark: "Okay, I have used arcane marks for these two Taoist marks. Each of you two groups carries one Taoist mark. After reaching the original Taoist mark, you will first completely remove the corrupted Taoist marks, then install the new confinement Taoist marks, and then remove the arcane marks I have stamped up, so that I know that you have completed the installation of the Taoist marks. Only when all three Taoist marks are placed can I cast the confinement magic, otherwise the confinement effect will not be as expected."

Brewster touched the imprisonment mark with both hands, and a flash of light, and the imprisonment mark on the ground disappeared: As a magic breaker, it is not surprising that there are a few magic props on his body!

Alvin looked at Murphy and Minara, hoping that they could also store the Taoist marks on the ground.

"Ahem... I originally had a storage ring, so I didn't bring it here..." Captain Murphy said pretending, Minara on the side also turned slightly red, and Alvin also reacted: he walked to Dao Biao and picked it up with one hand: it was still a bit heavy!

"Remember, all teams have placed the road mark and gathered near the Moon Shadow Valley Cave!" Saloras reminded.

The team set out in three groups...

The road mark that Alvin and his friends were going to change was located in the southeast of the Moon Shadow Valley, and the distance was not very far.

...

The three of them lined up in a row, Alvin walked in the front, put the Chenxi sword in his back behind his back, holding the confinement mark in his left hand, and holding the wooden stick picked up from somewhere in his right hand, exploring the way in the dense grass.

The grass on the ground is not as green as usual, but a disgusting gray with a strange stench.

"Ahem... Captain Murphy, are you pointing the way you are right?" Alvin tried hard to separate the weeds and said to Murphy who was looking at the map.

The last one was Priest Minara. She was not easy to walk in her robe, and she was even more difficult to walk in the grass, and she also looked at Murphy in front of her with resentful eyes.

"Believe me everyone! I'm sure we are moving in the right direction!" Captain Murphy looked at the picture carefully again: "Evan, turn to the left a little more, we should be coming soon!"

Alvin could only do it as Captain Murphy said, turning left for a while, but the grass was denser and the stench in the air became more and more disgusting!

As Ivan walked forward, he turned around and asked Murphy: "Captain, are you sure this direction is correct? I feel that we can't even get there until night..."

Captain Murphy was still very sure: "I had all set up the road marks here at the beginning, and the specific locations were recorded on the map, so it was impossible to make any mistakes!"

Seeing that he was so sure, Alvin and Minara could only move forward as Murphy said.

After walking for a while, the stench in the air was already suffocating. Priest Minara could only cast a thin shield of light on each person to isolate the stench.

Alvin was still at the front: "This pile of broken grass will burn all the fire when I come back!...Damn..."

Alvin lost his center of gravity and lay on the ground. Captain Murphy hurriedly helped him up, but both of them looked up at the front...
