Chapter two hundred and thirty, foresight
When Gromash woke up, he was lying on the hay-paved ground, and the bonfire beside him was burning quietly, making crackling sounds from time to time.
"You finally woke up Gromash." Kagas noticed the slight changes in War Song Chief on the haystack. He strode over and helped Hellscream up and sit down: "This is the fifth day of your coma. If you hadn't had a steady breath, I might have buried you in the soil."
"Ahem... I don't die so easily!" Gromash barely sat there and whispered, feeling his muscles sore all over his body, as if he had just been hit by Goron.
"We have failed, the Hellfire Fortress has fallen into the hands of the Alliance." Kagas sat there and looked at the bonfire and said calmly.
"This is the fate of the tribe, Kagas." Gromash whispered: "We have done well enough!"
"Thankfully, the alliance did not send pursuers to search us." Kagas smiled, wiping the sickle blade in his hand, "and many orcs escaped."
"What should we do next?" Hellscream said, somewhat confused: "I have never felt so lost."
"There are only two ways to go." Kagas said in a deep voice: "The first is to chase in the direction of Neozu, and then continue to help the chief complete the plan."
"The second one is...we will return to Nagland and gather all the clan members to find another way out!"
"It seems you chose the second road." Gromash looked at the familiar scenery around him. He understood that this place was not far from Nagran, which was lush with water and grass.
"Yes." Kagas said, looking at Hellscream, "I no longer trusted Neozu when he asked us to defend the Hellfire Fortress."
"He and the Death Knights are totally concerned about their own safety. Don't tell me you don't know what the predecessors of those dead people were!"
"But they are always for the tribe..." Gromash whispered in a low voice as he looked at the dark night in the distance.
"We are also doing it for the tribe." Kagas waved his sickle blade: " Rather than believing in Ner's flashy plan, we should choose a more pragmatic approach ourselves."
"Tell me what you think!" Hellscream said: "To be honest, I'm already disgusted with all kinds of plans and strategies, but I'm willing to listen to you again."
"I know!" Kagas excitedly patted Chief War Song's broad shoulders, causing the latter to grin and roar.
"Listen to Gromash, this is my plan." Kagas sat beside Hellscream and gestured with his one hand: "First of all, Draenor is hopeless, this is something you and I know very well. Therefore, I think I must find another home."
"This sounds like it's almost the same as what Gul'dan said before." Hellscream shook his head and said, "We can't beat the Alliance." The orcs recalled the battle that day again: the thin humans had such powerful power, which completely made Gromash lose the confidence to fight the Alliance.
"But I added something new!" Kagas said excitedly: "Come and see this!"
The chief of the Broken Hand clan pulled out a broken picture from under his butt, and it was vaguely seen through the orange-yellow Hellscream that this was a map.
"I picked up this map on the battlefield." Kagas gently opened the rolled-up map with one hand: "The above records the full picture of Azeroth."
"This is the Eastern Kingdom, allowing the invincible tribe to experience the failed continent." The orc's thick fingers gently stroked the rough paper pages, and then Kagas pointed to another place on the map: "But the plan I want to talk about is here. The marks on this continent are obviously very sparse. Obviously, humans do not know about it - we can definitely arrive there by boat and start the tribe's revival plan!"
"Although it sounds equally difficult, I think it's worth a try." Gromash stared at the map like he saw the most precious treasure: "Let Neozu and Talon, the Blood Demon and the others go hell, let's do our own thing!"
...
"What a terrible scene! The deeper I go into this land, the more I feel despair - what did the orcs do to ruin the world into this shape?!" Aurelia frowned and kept looking around, but what she saw was always a lifeless scene.
Four days ago, Kadega cast a large-scale tracking spell at Hellfire Fortress. By using some orc items in the fortress as casting medium, the old mage successfully tracked the direction of the orc escaping, but strangely, Kadega discovered that two different signal sources appeared in opposite directions at the same time.
To be on the safe side, Turayan decided to divide the sons of Lothar into two forces and act separately: Kadega, Turayan and Aurelia Windrunner led their troops north, while Danas Torbain and Kudran Wildhawk rushed south.
"Don't care about these Aurelias." Turayan looked at the Wind Walker and said softly: "It is precisely because the orcs have destroyed their homes to such an extent that they have tried every means to capture our homes."
"It seems that Mr. Alvin is the most dull of all of us." Kardga smiled at the consul with a gentle expression on the side: "He is as calm as walking in his own home."
To be on the safe side, Turayan decided to divide Alvin into his own group when choosing to divide the troops, which was a result of careful consideration.
As a pure warrior, Danas obviously cannot deal with the consul well, and the Wild Hammer Dwarf is even more hopeful. Turayan suspects that Evan only needs a few bottles of magic wine to make Kudran call him a brother.
"The environment here is relatively good." Alvin said with a smile: "There is no fire or high temperature on the ground, and it is not common to see the same deadly creatures."
"My foot was bitten by a worm yesterday..." Kadega looked at Alvin on the side quietly and whispered: "Why haven't you been kissed by a poisonous insect or a scorpion until now?"
"Because my personal physique is relatively less worm-catching!" Alvin said with an eyebrow raised.
Kadega would not believe the consul’s words. He did not reply, but released an ice shield on his own. As a delicate and weak mage, Kadega could only use this method to relieve his own fatigue.
"There are enough journeys today." Turayan obviously noticed Kadega's pale face. He jumped off the war horse and walked to the old mage. A warm holy light poured into Kadega's body: "We will stay here today, everyone is exhausted!"
"According to my estimate, we can get close to that energy source by just one more day of journey." Kardga nodded.
Alvin smiled at the quiet wilderness around him, and he was a little familiar with the terrain here - a place called Gorrond.
