4 Jinling (four)

Following the winding mountain path, we walked out of the Zhongling Mountain and entered the foothills of Lantian Mountain. On the way, everyone was just concerned about the journey and didn't say much.

When he just left the village, Hou Dagui found some reasons to leave, but Zhao Dangshi was staring at him. He knew what this guy sold, so he must be sorry for the money left in the village and wanted to buy it back.

After being subjected to severe supervision, Hou Dagui tried several times but failed, he was depressed and saw that he was getting farther away from the village, so he put away his thoughts and focused on exploring the way forward.

After walking for a long time, Zhao Dangshi searched for a meadow to let everyone rest. After drinking a few sips of water, Hou Dagui hurriedly ran away and said that the situation was not good.

Everyone present was quiet. They lay down and listened to the sound of the ground with their ears. They thought they were afraid that one or two thousand people were rushing towards them, and the distance between the two sides was only one or two miles.

As soon as he said this, a commotion immediately caused. Now everyone is only twenty-six or seven. How can they be the opponent of so many soldiers? Everyone is in danger and has begun to show signs of wanting to escape in all directions.

Zhao Dangshi drew his sword with a bang, first threatened a few times, finally suppressing the restless people, and then led everyone to the horse and quickly rushed into the nearby forest to avoid it.

Everyone was waiting in the forest with breath. After a moment, the two horsemen arrived first, but they looked at their outfits and seemed not to be in the government office.

Zhao Dangshi and Hou Dagui looked at each other and remained unmoved. They all knew that although they were both bandits, they had no customization for the division and cooperation between the battalions. If the group of people in front of them were either returned to the camp or the eight teams, the eight kings of the Xiying, it would be fine. If not, they would have been out rashly, there would be more and more dangers.

The two riders circled around the meadow and then turned back. After a while, a team of riders arrived suddenly. Judging from the size, they were about 500 people. The leader was a black-faced man, wearing a Fanyang felt hat and holding a horse whip. While listening to others' remarks, he observed around.

Zhao Dangshi looked at the man carefully and didn't know him. But seeing his clothes, he was at least considered as the champion of the camp. Just as he was considering himself, Hou Dagui secretly pulled the corner of his clothes. Following his gaze, he saw that among the riders who followed him one after another in the back row, there was a Han who looked familiar. Who was the one who was on the kang who was ranked as the escape champion with Wang Bahui in Jinlingchuan? This person was also a horse army and he didn't want to meet him here.

Such cowards are doing well. It seems that the troops in front of them are not very threatening. Zhao Dangshi saw the black-faced man commanding his side again, and seemed to be trying to search the place completely. He thought he could not hide it, so he simply brought his men out of the forest.

As soon as he showed up, the man in the meadow was startled and all of them were ready to go. Zhao Dangshi first shouted a few words of Shaanxi slander, and then he reported his name.

The black-faced man heard this, looked back, went upstairs to the kang behind him and hurriedly rushed forward to identify Zhao Dangshi. The black-faced man nodded while listening, without doubting that there was him, and waved to Zhao Dangshi.

Zhao Dangshi quickly gave the horse to Hou Dagui, and ran forward and knelt down. The black-faced man said in a thick voice: "Is it the hundred households surnamed Zhao?"

He made a final confirmation casually, and of course Zhao Dangshi agreed.

Zhao Dangshi knelt in front of the horse and did not dare to look up. The black-faced man was obviously very satisfied with his respect and said slowly: "I have worked a little hard in the battle of Jinlingchuan. So let it go, get up."

Zhao Dangshi stood up and thanked him, saying, "Thank you, the villain. The villain is vulgar and foolish, and I wish to hear the reputation of the leader."

The black-faced man immediately laughed, and almost all the loud voices echoed. After laughing, he pointed Zhao Dangshi's head with a horse whip and said, "Grandpa is the vanguard of the return camp 'flying to the sky'. Can you hear it clearly?"

"The villain won't save you." Zhao Dangshi nodded like pounding garlic, thinking that this dog was Zhang Xiongfei, a fierce general who returned to the camp. He dared to take a horse whip and slap his head. Zhang Ruosi would drag him off the horse and beat him up. At this moment, he could only swallow his anger, "The name of flying to the sky is so great that it is not known which one? Even if the child cries at night, and hears the name of the head, he will be silent."

"Well, he is a sensible person." Zhang Xiongfei said proudly, riding his head up, and he walked around Zhao Dangshi for a while. Seeing that there were a group of people and several horses behind him, he thought, "You have worked hard to make a fortune, and you can't lose money. In this way, you will continue to be your household, but there must be a name, right?"

Zhao Dangshi found that he was staring at the eight remaining horses, fearing that they would be snatched away, so Natou said again: "Thank you for your unparalleled kindness and righteousness. The villain is grateful. Please rest assured, and come and greet you when the villain is ready."

Since he said this, Zhang Xiongfei first pressed the words he wanted to give him, ignored him, and ordered his left and right to rest and slap him. He took the kang to look at Zhao Dangshi meaningfully and followed him. Zhao Dangshi sighed and then felt a little relieved.

When everyone heard what Zhao Dangshi conveyed, they gradually calmed down and went to find a shade to rest.

Zhang Xiongfei and others soon returned to the meadow again. Look at this situation, his horse army may just be the pioneering vanguard, and the large army is still behind.

Zhao Dangshi searched for a knight to inquire and learned that Lao Hui and others failed in Xi'an and were forced to retreat. He was already mentally prepared for the result of the failure, and also learned that although he was defeated this time, the vitality of the giant bandits was not damaged, and the alliances of the battalions were not yet destroyed. This made him feel a little relieved.

Then he found Wang Laixing again and asked how much money he had. Wang Laixing gave him all the money and ordered it, only more than twenty taels.

Zhang Xiongfei was not a good person, and he had long been known for being greedy for money and lust. Zhao Dangshi was afraid that he would not be happy if he gave him less, so he was so cruel that he simply took about fifteen taels of silver from it and took him to see Zhang Xiongfei.

Walking to the grass, Zhang Xiongfei was forming a circle with a group of people to discuss matters. Zhao Dangshi felt that he was inferior and did not dare to disturb him. He stood outside the circle and waited quietly, and listened to their discussion by the way.

"This time it's not good, fortunately, the old palm has not moved his muscles. However, Guanzhong Tiao always forced him so tightly, so sooner or later it was not an idea. Lao Zhuan's idea, let's leave Lantian, turn back to Shangluo, and then go to Henan. There are still many brothers in Henan entrenched in the mountains. As long as we go back, we will definitely respond in groups." Zhang Xiongfei was actually sitting on a small round stone, but the stone was covered by his big butt, as if he was squatting on horse stance. Although he usually spoke vulgarly, he spoke in awe when he mentioned the old palm stance.

The audiences on both sides were basically Zhang Xiongfei's confidants. Most of them were not clear about the situation. Those who understood a little bit were always on their own. They even heard that they were old masters' idea, and they nodded without thinking about it.

"No!"

Just as Zhang Xiongfei was excited to state the next point, a disharmonious voice suddenly penetrated.

Zhang Xiongfei glanced at him in confusion, and saw that the Baihu surnamed Zhao was in front of him, but he forgot his name, and only clamped his eyebrows, opened his eyes and asked, "What did you say?"

Zhao Dangshi heard that Lao Huihui was going to Henan to jump into the fire pit, and he was anxious and speechless for a moment. It was already difficult to get rid of the tiger at this moment, so he had to bite the bullet and bow to Zhang Xiongfei, "The villain Zhao Dangshi has seen Zhang Dangshi."

"Stop interrupting, I'm asking what you're just calling?"

"The villain said he could not go to Henan."

After Zhao Dangshi finished speaking, Zhang Xiongfei stood up and approached him and said, "How dare you scoundrel in front of me?"

"Don't dare."

"This is a plan set by Lao Zhangpan. If you spy on his head, you will ride on his head." Zhang Xiongfei sneered and mocked. He was most annoying to others when he was talking nonsense, and even denying his ideas. However, a humble and oversized household, it is really annoying.

A clever confidant came up next to him and said, "This person is rude, so it's better to pick his gourd." As he said that, he pulled out his waist knife.

"No hurry." Zhang Xiongfei waved his hand, stopped the man first, and then looked towards Zhao Dangshi, "Then we have to see if he knows it."

The meaning in his words was obvious. How could Zhao Dangshi not understand? He hurriedly took a pack of fifteen taels of scattered silver and handed it to Zhang Xiongfei: "I'm fine, please forgive me for not understanding the rules."

Zhang Xiongfei weighed the money, knew about the amount, smiled, revealing his black and yellow teeth: "You guy is quite a wise man. But you are not sincere enough. Just let me give you a death sentence..." When he said this, his eyes were filled with evil light, and the tone of the conversation suddenly turned, "But you can't escape the crime of living. Come on, serve with a whip!"

He stretched out his hand and immediately handed a whip: "No rules can be square. What Lao Huihui usually teaches us the most often is the word "rule". Since you are just a new arrival, you must not be able to remember it. Otherwise, next time you offend other teams and take control of the plate, you can't get over it with just a whip." After saying that, he waved the whip suddenly.

The whip hit the head and landed on Zhao Dangshi's head, and a blood mark exploded in an instant. At this moment, the bandits sitting around were busy watching, and they all gathered up to watch with great interest. Zhao Dangshi used his light to see Hou Dagui and others hiding in the crowd and looking around.

Before the whip was old, the second whip came. Zhang Xiongfei was a prisoner in the county before rebelling, and he had his own way of whipping people. After two whips, Zhao Dangshi's eyes were blurred. He felt the scorching stinging pain gradually spread from dots and lines to his whole body. Even so, he still gritted his teeth and did not want to show any bad appearance in front of everyone.

In the blink of an eye, Zhang Xiongfei had already pulled out seven or eight whips. The whip was so powerful that except for the two whips on the head, the rest were called on Zhao Dangshi, and he beat a piece of blue clothes to pieces to pieces.

"Happy, happy!" Zhao Dangshiwen heard the crowd laughing and sarcasm from time to time, and his chest was filled with anger. He shouted loudly in anger.

"It's still exciting!" Zhang Xiongfei was panting and was about to stop, but when he heard this, he immediately became angry, "Then I will accompany you to the end!" After saying that, he sent out several whips.

Just as Zhao Dangshi seemed to be about to be killed, Zhang Xiongfei suddenly stopped. Zhao Dangshi saw through the blood-blind eyes and saw a rider passing through the crowd and slowly walking towards him.

The man dismounted, Zhang Xiongfei bowed his fists and greeted him. The bandits who had originally started to make fun were silent. However, the man was wearing armor and an iron helmet, with a serious face, and had a style.

"What did this person do?" The man looked at Zhao Dangshi, who was covered in bruises but still standing, and asked coldly.

"This guy is rude and despises his old hand."

"Hmm?" The man raised his left eyebrow, walked around Zhang Xiongfei, went straight to Zhao Dangshi, grabbed his hair bun, and pulled up his bloody head, "Look at you, you are a chimaerer, dare you say that you are the old one, right?"

Zhao Dangshi gasped weakly and explained: "Little man, villain dare not."

"Then what did you say, and you made this beating?"

"The villain just said that he shouldn't go to Henan..." Zhao Dangshi finally said it out loud. Now he would collapse at any time, barely support it with his will. He knew in his heart that the person in front of him was his only chance to survive. If this person was as unreasonable as Zhang Xiongfei, then he would really go to the Yanluo Palace to rank a number this time.

Unexpectedly, as soon as this said, the man disappeared. Zhao Dangshi complained secretly, saying that he had annoyed him again and could not escape death. While he was wandering, the man let go and said lightly: "Give him aside."

"This..." Zhang Xiongfei felt a little unhappy when he saw that the man wanted to tear down his own platform as soon as he came.

"After all, my brother, who will raise him if he breaks it?" The man's tone was faintly indescribable, "I asked me to come to you and have something important to tell me."

Zhang Xiongfei seemed not afraid to challenge the man, so he had to suppress his anger and spat at Zhao Dangshi: "Be more responsible in the future!" After that, he turned around and left with the man.

Seeing that there was no excitement, everyone dispersed one after another, whether they laughed or sighed. Hou Dagui and Wang Laixing saw Zhang Xiongfei flying away, rushed up and carried Zhao Dangshi aside with all their strength.

Wang Laixing cried while checking Zhao Dangshi's injuries. Hou Dagui was upset and cursed: "Crying for a hammer, it's like running for funerals, it's bad luck! The head of the family was young and strong, but he was injured by some flesh and blood. Fortunately, there were leftover herbs found in the village, so I quickly put them on it."

As soon as Zhao Dangshi relaxed, he fainted immediately. Wang Laixing screamed a few times without reaction, and shook his hands to pinch others, but was slapped by Hou Dagui. Yang Cheng's mansion slowly poured water into Zhao Dangshi's mouth and wiped his face clean. He gradually woke up, but in just a short while, he closed his eyes again.

Hou Dagui shook his head and said, "The head of the country needs rest, so let him sleep." He paused and said in an admiration, "But he is really tough today. He is indeed a man. He killed Zhang Xiongfei's straight-hearted arrogance."

Yang Cheng's mansion looked around and confirmed that no one was eavesdropping. He also whispered: "That beast named Zhang is really good at hitting the official army's pussy, and he is really good at hitting his own people."

Wang Laixing said with some concern: "Do you think the person surnamed Zhang will come to find a trouble for brother?" As he said that, he carefully glanced at Zhang Xiongfei's figure.

Yang Chengfu said angrily: "That's hard to say. But as long as the head of the country is here, he shouldn't be sabotaging him in person."
