Preface: I just wish more people read better stories
Preface to the Genealogy: I just hope more people can read better stories
The editor sent an email saying that many friends who have read the first part of "Tibet Code" have called the publishing house, hoping to know more about the content behind this story, and hope to understand the creative intention of the story and my own feelings.
So, the night came, and with the slight trembling of aftershocks, I began to write this preface.
The first thing I want to thank for about this story is the numerous readers and the editors who have given them. Without your support, I really couldn't imagine how I could have completed a novel that lasts more than one million words.
It is undoubtedly a painful thing to spend more than two years telling a story.
I don't know how other authors did it, but after doing it myself, I felt physically and mentally exhausted.
With the support of readers, I finally survived. Although the manuscript has not been completed yet, those clues and ideas are much clearer than when I first started to create. At least I found everything I needed in a lot of traces of historical materials like a mess...
The concept of this novel has been formed for a long time.
As some readers said, reading my story is like watching an American blockbuster. When you see it, you guess the ending. The greatest pleasure is on the adventure journey.
Of course, it is also very good to lead everyone back to the ancient civilization era more than a thousand years ago, to see those imaginative brilliant buildings and terrible mechanisms, as well as some strange things that may have disappeared from the dust of history, and to enjoy the tension and excitement in it - this is also very good.
However, in fact, I want to depict beautiful scenes that are beyond reality, villages like paradise, ancient ruins like magical palaces, holy and sacred snow mountains, and shocking Tibetan civilization... Of course, I still can't help but want to ask: Did you really guess the ending as soon as you see the beginning?
Keep reading, I don't think you will make an assertion so quickly, haha...
In addition, it should be noted that before the deadline, the part serialized on Sina was indeed composed of many small scenes, but the book you are holding is not the same as the online version.
Because "Tibet Code" has a huge structure, before publication, I will systematically revise each volume until I am satisfied.
In this story, there will be many characters, not only those who are happy, those who are excited, those who are compassionate, but also those who are hateful and gritty.
I hope to shape them more vividly, so that everyone can read them with love, hate, cry and laughter. To explore the unknown world with these brave people, no, it should be a world lost in the long river of history.
Finally, I still need to remind you that this is a story, just a story.
I just hope more people can read better stories.
