Chapter 202 The Dark Wizard in the Forbidden Forest

Professor Flitwick's face was too serious, and he was also very nervous, as if an out-of-control fire dragon would appear around him at any time.

Some senior students came forward to ask what happened, but Professor Flitwick said nothing and just urged them to return to the castle as soon as possible.

Everyone was discussing what happened, and based on previous experience, the person most likely to have a problem was Quirrell, the Defense Against the Dark Arts professor.

"I'm sure it must be him!" Gemma Farley said confidently: "Almost all the major events that happened in Hogwarts were related to the Defense Against the Dark Arts professor."

"And Professor Quirrell didn't come to the game today." Someone immediately echoed: "I remember during the last game, he said that he liked Quidditch very much. There is no reason not to come!"

"Do you think Professor Quirrell is a dark wizard like Oren last year?" someone asked worriedly.

"Maybe a Death Eater!"

"Stop talking, why do I feel so cold..."

"We'd better go back to the castle as quickly as possible. Professor Dumbledore is there, and it won't be of any use even if the Death Eaters come."

"yes……"

The little wizards crowded into the castle and felt much more at ease.

Kyle was also among the crowd, but he did not go back to the common room with the others. Instead, he took the opportunity to sneak into the Gryffindor team when Professor Sprout was not paying attention.

"Kyle?" Fred and George spotted him immediately and asked excitedly: "Do you know something?"

"Let's talk quickly. If you have any plans, don't forget to call me and Fred!"

"Sorry, Fred, George..."

On the stairs, Kyle whispered to them: "I need to confirm something now. I don't have time to say too much. Can you help me block it?"

The twins frowned. Although they didn't know what Kyle wanted to do, they still stood sideways behind him.

The two of them deliberately raised their shoulders, just enough to block the view behind them.

"Thanks."

Kyle whispered something, took the opportunity to bend down, cast a disillusionment spell on himself, and quietly left the team on the third floor.

"Merlin... this is the Disillusionment Curse!" Fred blurted out: "I've always wanted to learn this curse."

George waved his arm in front of him, but he didn't touch anything.

"Kyle is only in second grade, and he even learned the Disguise Charm!"

"How many other things does he hide from us?"

On the other side, after leaving the others, Kyle followed the wall and carefully came to the door of Myrtle's bathroom.

He first glanced at the quill pinned to the crack of the door, and after confirming that it was intact, he breathed a sigh of relief.

Fortunately...it's probably not a basilisk.

"Who is here? Come out, I see you."

At this moment, a round head suddenly stretched out from the middle of the door panel.

"It's me, Myrtle." Kyle removed the disillusionment spell and appeared in front of her.

"It's you, Kyle." Myrtle said with a smile, "Have you finally decided to share a bathroom with me?"

"Sorry, I don't have this plan yet."

Kyle shook his head and said, "I came here this time to ask, has anyone been here recently?"

"you?"

"I mean the others."

"Then there will be none." Myrtle said and began to cry again. "No one will come here. Who would like the ugly, pitiful, depressed and crying Myrtle.

They didn't even want to stay at the door for a while."

Kyle said with some embarrassment: "Well... at least Peeves likes you."

When Kyle said this, Myrtle cried even harder.

The screams and cries echoed in the corridor on the third floor, and Kyle felt a chill behind him.

In order not to attract other people's attention, he hurriedly changed the subject and said: "By the way, didn't I make you an anti-Peeves device before? How is it? Does it work?"

"I don't know, that nasty guy hasn't been here for a long time."

Myrtle's emotions were like a faucet that stopped when she told her to stop.

She turned back and glanced into the bathroom, and said with some suspicion: "But is what you did really useful... spreading a dozen books on the floor can drive away that annoying ghost?"

"Of course...Besides, those are not books, but special fireworks."

Kyle said with a smile: "As soon as Peeves opens the door, the whole castle will hear the noise, and it will scare him away."

"Then...I'll go back first."

After knowing that what happened in the castle had nothing to do with the basilisk, Kyle was ready to leave. It would be troublesome for Professor Sprout to find out that he was not there.

"Oh fine……"

Myrtle said regretfully: "If you change your mind, you can move in at any time."

Hearing this, Kyle's steps became faster.

When he returned to the entrance to the Hufflepuff common room, Professor Sprout happened to come out.

"Oh, Kyle... I'm glad you're okay." She said angrily with a straight face, "Where were you just now? Why didn't you come back with everyone?"

This was the first time Kyle had seen her so angry, and he said with some guilt: "Professor, I was just...well, I was a little worried...so I stayed outside for a while to see if I could help."

Just when Kyle was desperately trying to think of an excuse, Professor Sprout suddenly sighed and said, "Who told you this, Minerva?"

"What?" Kyle was stunned for a moment, not understanding what she meant.

Professor Sprout seemed to have misunderstood something. She said softly: "I understand that you and Hagrid have a good relationship. It is normal to be worried when you suddenly hear the news that he was seriously injured.

But you are only a second-year wizard. The most important thing now is to protect your own safety. Madam Pomfrey will cure Hagrid."

"What did you say! Hagrid is seriously injured...Sorry, I mean, can you tell me how he is now?"

Kyle really didn't expect that it would be Hagrid who was in trouble.

"I can only say it's not bad." Professor Sprout thought for a moment, shook his head and said, "When we found Hagrid at the edge of the Forbidden Forest, he had many traces of black magic on his body.

If he hadn't been... so strong, he might have died long ago.

But don’t worry, he has been sent to the campus hospital now, and he will definitely be fine."

"Thank you, I understand." Kyle asked: "Professor, can I go see him?"

"not now!"

Professor Sprout gave Kyle a stern look.

"You are all required to stay in the common room and not go anywhere until Dumbledore returns from the Forbidden Forest."

"Now, you should go back!"
