Chapter 24 The first goal

Although Viri and Richard repeatedly stated that they would not promote tonight's incident everywhere, I knocked them out together after getting their consent.

The intention to be defensive is necessary, which is what Sebastian and Christo often say. Although Viri provided me with a lot of key information, it does not mean that she has nothing to do with the group of Strad's offspring.

After sending them back to their dream again, I quickly left their warm hut. The information given by Wei Rui is very important. Now I know the hidden identities of these five vampires, and there are still many things to do tonight.

It is very difficult to deal with them one by one without disturbing the others. According to Wei Rui's description, every time they "hunting" they are gathering to travel. If I deal with one of them, the next time they hunt, the remaining few will know something is wrong.

Be careful.

After confirming that no one noticed me or followed me, I ran back to my wooden house as fast as possible. It was time to prepare for the next plan.

I ran into my room, picked up my laptop and quickly wrote down five names that Wei Rui told me.

Steed Avalk, a first-year student in the Department of Steam Engineering, an imperialist, at least on the surface.

Benjamin Abuvado, specialized as the other, is a native of Capofes.

Benjamin's nationality caught my attention and I had a bold guess.

In order to verify this conjecture, I took a rough look at the information of the other three people, Lena Trunk, the Imperial; Fairsha Johnson, the Imperial; Kalonpo Trultan, what's the guess? Or the Imperial.

Four of the five vampires are imperialists, so I guess Benjamin Abuvado is the host.

Not to mention that he is a native of Capofez. It is not too easy to cover up the four vampires.

Now the problem has become much simpler. Since four of the five vampires have to rely on another person to arrange their lives in this country, it seems that I only need to solve this Benjamin Abuvado, which will cause a lot of trouble to this group of pests.

They will lose the shelter of their locals, and their off-campus residence and food sources will completely disappear if things go well.

"I've caught you." I drew several circles on Benjamin Abuvado's name, and then threw the notes on the desk.

Early the next morning, I skipped class and went to find Zhuo.

"Mr. Savos," Zhuo sighed complainingly and stood up from behind the desk, "You can't always skip classes, so I'll have trouble."

"I know the identity of one of the vampires, Zhuo," I decided to go straight to the topic, and I didn't have time to talk nonsense here.

"What!?" Zhuo screamed as soon as he heard me speak, but she quickly adjusted.

She smiled a little apologetically at me and ran to close the door.

"Now you can have a good talk," she closed the door and signaled me to sit on the sofa, and sat down opposite me.

"So, do you say you have found the identity of a vampire, Mr. Savos?" Zhuo looked at me, looking happy and excited, and his originally white face turned slightly red. "He, or she, doesn't matter, who is always?"

"It's Benjamin Abuvado," I uncovered the mystery, and Zhuo's face quickly changed from joy to shock. "It's him?" she murmured to herself in disbelief, "Benjamin is a good student."

She was surprised and frowned for a while before she raised her head to look at me again, and said with some difficulty: "Forgive me offense, but Mr. Savos, is it possible that... well... you made a mistake?"

"If I weren't 100% sure, I wouldn't have come here to find you, Zhuo, I hope you understand that this is important."

I showed an unpleasant expression, looked at Zhuo seriously, and told a small lie without moving. I didn't have time to play detective games with her here.

"Ah, of course, I'm sorry for my offense, Mr. Savos," Zhuo saw me sternly and his expression quickly became terrified. She bowed to me and asked, "Do you need what the academy do for you, Mr. Savos?"

"Just the contrary," I shook my head, "I hope you're pretending to know nothing, because he has at least four accomplices."

"I came here to hope to know what he looked like." I asked with my backpack, "this will help my mission."

"Of course," Zhuo nodded, expressing his understanding, "he should be taking basic engineering classes now, so I'll take you here to find him."

I stood up from the sofa and went to the teaching building with Zhuo.

When we came here, the course of basic engineering was just about to be practical. Today's content was to learn the composition of the steam engine. Students were collecting the steam engine in groups, and some fast groups had already begun to study the structure of the steam engine.

"That's Benjamin, the one in the red top." Zhuo and I stood at the door, pointing her finger at a young boy in the field, and said to me in a low voice.

"Red top, white leggings, and leather gloves are removing the steam engine?" After just looking around, I knew who Zhuo was referring to, but for confirmation, I asked Zhuo again.

His pale face was too conspicuous among a group of normal people. Maybe he should put on makeup and cover up his pale complexion.

"It's him, the heir to Abuvado industry." Zhuo nodded, "You'd better be careful, their family is quite powerful in Cabofis."

I immediately became serious. I was planning to do something here, but fortunately Zhuo reminded me early.

"It seems that I have to go to the Hunter Guild today to see if there is any detailed information about this family."

I thought silently in my heart and added one to today's task list.

"Let's go, I don't want to be noticed by Benjamin." I looked at my watch, and the class was about to go down. I didn't want to attract attention, especially Benjamin himself.

"Why?" Zhuo asked curiously, her behavior annoyed me a little.

"You are really seeking knowledge, let's talk while you go."

Zhuo may never understand that being targeted by a real vampire, rather than those inferior vampires, is a terrifying and tormenting thing. Sometimes you have to be wary of coming from the ground, or even your own assassination.

Due to Zhuo’s inappropriate questions and the scene, I did not send her back to the office, but just reminded them repeatedly when they parted, and they must not interfere in this matter.

After confirming Benjamin's appearance, I came to the Silver Blood Hotel without stopping. It was still as lively as ever. Large groups of vampire hunters sat together to drink and have fun, and I passed by them in a familiar way and came to the bar.

"Welcome, why are you here again?" Vick seemed a little surprised to see me during this time period, "You failed?"

"No," I shook my head at him and Christo, "I'm here to check something."

"Old rule," Vic pushed me a glass of wine, pointed at the table with his finger, "Five Guild Gold Coins."

"Missive," I smiled and cursed in a low voice, took out five guild gold coins from my wallet and pressed them onto the table.

"Thank you for your patron," Christo quickly put away the gold coins I handed out, "What do you want to check?"

"Are there any information about the Abuvado family? Anything is OK."

"Abvado?" Christo suddenly became confused, "That's just a middle-class family in Capofez. Why did you suddenly check it out... Wait, they won't have anything to do with your affairs, right?"

Christo's reaction was not slow, and he quickly understood and looked at me with Vick in surprise.

"What do you think?" I sighed in a low voice, "I have found the first vampire, Benjamin Abuvado."

I didn't dare to tell them that I already knew all vampires' identities. The fewer people know about such things, the safer I am and the more time I will be.

"It's him." Vic sighed very much. "I went to their mansion as a passerby a few years ago, and they were all normal humans at that time."

"I don't think it's anymore." I smiled at him, "I guess their family is all vampires."

"Hey, I'm thinking about something like this. Can the guild cooperate with me to do something?"

"It depends on what's going on." I saw Vic and Cristo exchanged glances, and then Vic spoke slowly.

"Nothing," I waved my hand, "If the Abuvado family has really become a vampire family, I hope that during my hunt for Benjamin Abuvado, the guild can support me and capture the Abuvado vampires."

"What if they weren't vampires?" Christo asked.

"That's simple," I smiled at him. "You just need to explain the situation to their people and don't let them interfere with my actions."

"It's easy. When you want to act, send a code or come here in person, and our people will prepare at a speed that you can't imagine."

After Vick finished speaking, his waist, which had just straightened, slowly bent down. He stretched out his left hand, pinched his index finger and middle finger together, and compared him to me. "The service you requested is not completely free. We have to pay the mercenary fee for you. I don't need too many, ten are enough."

"Very fair," I smiled, took out ten more gold coins and pressed them on the table.

"Then let it be," Vick, who took the gold coins, smiled happily, "Just notify us before the action."

I felt much more relaxed after walking out of the Hunter Guild. I had already solved Vic's backer. No matter whether he was a vampire or not, no one else would come in and intervene in the process of my hunting him.

That being the case, what reason is there to not choose Benjamin Abuvado for my first goal?

"It's decided it's you," I went back to my house, took out my notebook, and drew a big fork next to Benjamin's name.

I only need time now. During the day, the five of them are always inseparable. Only when they are separated will I have a chance.

From the time they separated and they gathered together to prepare for dinner, I had only less than two hours in total. If I dragged it for too long, the other vampires would undoubtedly find something was wrong here.

The hour hand quickly followed the dial to the ten o'clock position. I dressed my equipment neatly and quietly flipped out of the window on the first floor.

According to Wei Rui, vampires gather together to hunt every five days, and the time is not fixed, but there will definitely be projects every five days.

If I remember correctly, today happens to be their hunting day again, which means that an innocent soul will fall into the abyss later, and I must find a way to end their activity before this.

It might be a good note to go straight to Benjamin's house, they always have to come back.

With the protection of the night, I quickly ran towards the target residential area. Not long after, a blue and white house sign appeared in my sight blurredly.

I quickly locked Benjamin's house. They didn't seem to have gone out yet. The whole wooden house was noisy, and from time to time I could hear the screams and clamors and playful sounds from inside.

It seems like five vampires are gathering in a room, and I have a headache. If I have plenty of holy water bombs or holy water grenades, it would be a better situation.

Unfortunately, I don’t have that many bombs, and I don’t know if there are bigger vampires hidden behind them. This is the lesson given to me by the vampire Baron’s incident.

I don't want to kill them all, and then a count rushed out and muttered to avenge them.

Although the Hunter Guild's intelligence shows that there is no vampires accompanying these five evil creatures, there is always no harm in being careful.

"Hurry up!" An impatient voice came from the room, "It's eleven o'clock soon, I don't want to miss the night snack tonight!"

"I know, you island sir," another frivolous male voice came from the room. "Isn't it just a student? Your family's warehouse in the city has a lot of live sheep in it. If it really doesn't work, go there to eat something."

"I don't want to suck the blood of slaves, you idiot from the mainland," the voice before sounded again. There was no doubt that the owner of the voice was Benjamin Abuvado. I only heard him continue to yell and scold: "Those slave sheep, only the second-hand vampires will drink their blood."

"Shut up, Abuvado," another female voice came out, "Do you think everyone here knows we are vampires?"

"We've been sneezing everyone nearby, Feelsa, let it go," the third male voice came out, "Don't be so nervous."

I was about to listen to their chat content carefully, but suddenly there was no sound in the room, and five dark figures rushed out from the side of the house.

It’s these five vampires who are going to hunt!
