Chapter 35 Quick Reconnaissance(1/2)

"You might have to talk to those three hunters, I'll call them here."

Faisal said a word and hurriedly left the gathering place of the camel knights.

He walked back not long after, and followed the three hunters who had just entered the village.

"Here, Savos," Faisal waved his hand at me from a distance, "I've found you the one you want."

"Thank you very much, Faisal," I walked up to them quickly and reached out my left hand, "Savoscote, from the Capofez branch."

"I'm Edward, the Carlaska Raton Division."

“Osborne, Tenochilan branch.”

"My name is Brady, from the Valenlia branch, I'm very happy to know you."

I shook hands with them separately and then took them to the conference table.

"So, tell me, Savos, why did you call us?"

"I need to know one thing," I took out my pencil and clicked on the map, turned my head and looked at them, "Where are you guys who got to know these two vampires?"

"Probably... here," Edward walked up after hearing this, carefully observed the map and circled an oasis with a pencil. "I'm not sure, but it should be here. I remember very clearly that Osborne and Brady were walking towards the oasis with a smile, intending to catch some water. The two white blood species suddenly rushed out of the bushes."

"What do you think?" In order to make sure the location is accurate, I looked at the expert in the desert, Faisal.

"The marked location should be correct," Faisal rubbed his chin and nodded, "Time is right, there is no oasis in the north that meets all the above conditions."

"Very good," I took a deep breath, "Gentlemen," I looked at the people present, "we may have found the large vampire army."

"Oh, don't be so anxious," Osborn interrupted me quickly, "How can you infer that this is a large army, we just caught two people."

"Just guess, Osborne," I nodded at the young hunter, "but all the clues indicate that, especially when I see the terrain next to that oasis."

"Explanation?" Even Faisal became interested and looked at me with his arms around.

"Of course," I nodded and ran to the hanging map. "First of all, we all know that these vampires are not scattered and unorganized into the desert. They are an extremely cohesive group. In addition, the harsh environment of the desert means that they are almost impossible for them to go out to hunt alone in the desert."

"So two vampires can never appear next to the oasis for no reason, this is one of them."

"Wait," Brady raised one hand and interrupted me, "Maybe two vampires sneaked out to hunt alone? You can't prove it."

"Don't think of vampires as brainless fools, Brady," I sighed. "These dark and evil creatures were humans before they were transformed and turned into white blood species. Of course, they would have the ideas we would have."

"So let me ask you, what would you do if there were two people in your team who left the team without authorization?"

"Of course it's too dangerous to recover them, especially in the desert, here...ah! I understand what you mean, Savos."

Faisal first reacted, and the other three people quickly understood and showed a stern look. "That's it," I nodded with a smile, "This is why I emphasize that this vampires are a collective. The leader of the vampire, no matter who he is, will not allow vampires running around, nor will other vampires."

"So these two people can only be sentinels!" Faisal gently hit his right palm with his left hand, and smiled and followed my words.

"Of course, this is just my inference," I continued, "and it is also possible that they are just fools hunting everywhere for a meal."

"I have put forward a second basis for this," I raised my second finger, "You should still remember that the vampires have one of the best allysirs this time: the Necromancer."

"Unlike vampires, most of the necromancers are humans, and only a small number of them transform themselves into undeads, which means they need to drink water, food, and rest, and these will leave traces in the desert."

"And within a radius of hundreds of miles, the only place that can be regarded as, or a large number of necromancers and vampires, is only another larger oasis."

"I just knew someone had caught a vampire by the oasis, so I checked the map and guess how?" I looked at the crowd surrounding me and said with a smile.

Everyone shook their heads and their eyes climbed up along my baton as I raised higher and higher until I stopped on a large piece of green.

"Look, it's there." I clicked the green on the wall representing the oasis. "A larger oasis must be hidden here, and the distance to the previous fast oasis is not too far."

"Tyze is on," Faisal exclaimed, "What exactly is your head long, Savos, you can always surprise us."

"Don't be so happy so early," I waved my hand quickly, "I'm just inference."

"So," I looked at the cheerful crowd, "I need some people, some guys, to put the final end to my inference, and I hope someone can follow me and do an in-depth investigation and reconnaissance where this happened."

"No problem," Hickrad and Cristo rushed out first, followed by the three hunters who had just joined.

"All brothers, bring fireworks, this is our best way to inform and the last escape measure."

"Please count us, our knights can provide camels and also provide good combat power." Faisal, who had not spoken, went out to get some camels. A large number of camel knights stood outside, preparing to receive the orders issued.

"What instructions do you have?" Faisal asked.

"Everyone set out!" I put on my equipment, pinched the map and ran out quickly, "We must arrive at that oasis as soon as possible!"

"As you wish," Faisal bowed to me slightly on the camel, and shouted: "Iha!"

The camels who were ordered began to run, and with the help of the reins, the knights quickly ran out of the village.

"The oasis is not too far, but not too close, with vegetation," Faisal shouted at the horse's belly, "Be sure to be careful of attacks from the trees."

"receive!"

The long camel team continued to gallop in the desert, pulling out a long line of sand and dust.

Unlike horses or dogs, camels are indeed the most suitable mount in the desert. It took only twenty minutes for thirty of us to return to the oasis where the battle had occurred before.

"It's here," Edward nodded confidently, "I can completely remember what happened before, the two vampires and Brady fought at that position."

"Very good, it seems we're not going the wrong way," I nodded, took out the map and checked it, "Next we have to go a little further northwest."

"Let me see the map," Faisal ran over on a camel, and I quickly handed him the map, and compared to him, I was like a fool who had just learned to use a telescope.

"This place is not too far away," Faisal laughed. "At most twenty minutes, maybe thirty minutes."

"No need to delay, let's set off immediately." I took back the desert map and pressed my butt firmly on it and the camel.

With Faisal's shout, all the desert knights who had just gotten off the camel ran back quickly and pulled up the second ray of smoke in the desert.

"Stop! Stop! Stop!"

I called everyone when I was five minutes away from the target oasis.

"What's wrong, Savos?"

"When we walk here, the vampire's ears are very sensitive. With so many camels, they will definitely be shocked."

"So I decided to bring only a few people, and the rest were responsible for standing guard here, keeping watch, and ready to retreat or support at any time."

"Faisal, stay," I stopped Faisal, who was excited to go deep into the oasis, with the latter looking unhappy.

"What's wrong?" Faisal was a little unhappy.

"Listen, Faisal, I explained sincerely, "We must have someone to communicate with these desert knights. You are their immediate boss, and it is the best choice for you to coordinate them."

"Also," I whispered by the way, holding his shoulder and putting my head in his ear, "If the worst happens, you and your Knight will be our last insurance."

"Okay, okay," Faisal muttered and walked back to the camel, "in the name of Taze, I will guard the big rear for you."

"Thank you, Faisal." I finally patted his back and turned to the hunters on the side.

"So anyone wants to quit?" I walked up to everyone and asked in a low voice.

No one speaks.

"Very good." I nodded, put the broken steel back in my back, checked the bullet in the pistol again, and then inserted it to my waist, "Get off!"

I, Hickrad and Cristo will be the front-end, while Edward, Osborne and Brady will be responsible for the break-off.

This oasis is larger than we imagined. As soon as I walked into the scope of the oasis, I realized that I had been completely surrounded by the lush date palm trees.

I didn't realize the seriousness of the matter at that time, until I went deeper and found that I was completely surrounded by willows and elms, and my vision was almost limited to myself.

"Shut down," I said to the other five, "the view here is terrible, we don't know where the enemy is."

"Understand," the five people replied in a low voice at the same time, and then followed me and continued to move forward.

After trekking a few hundred meters, the crackling sound of the burning fire and the sound of talking in imperial language came into my ears.

"Just hit the bull's-eye." I made a gesture to the five people behind me, and slowly crouched forward, hoping to find a natural observation port.

But this matter is more difficult than I thought. There are many decaying leaves under my feet. I must be careful at all times to ensure that I do not make any sound.

"It would be great if there was a rune technique in this world that silences, maybe the person who manipulated the sound could do it."

I fantasized about the powerful power of sound runes in my heart and continued to travel a short distance with difficulty.

I then found myself on a higher slope. God blessed me, I can finally see clearly what is happening in the oasis.

In the center of the oasis is an exaggerated lake. There are a large number of tents scattered around the lake, and burning bonfires are scattered among them.

The crackling sound of the bonfire burning kept coming from the vicinity, and then the light brought by the flames, I roughly counted the number of tents in the oasis.

There are more than a hundred tents I can see alone, but fortunately these are all single tents.

It seems that no one of these dark followers wants to live in a tent with others.

"Birds of a feather," I cursed quietly, then took out the telescope from my pocket to try to get more information.

Through the magnified lens of the telescope, I saw many people wearing black robes, skull tattoos on their chests and even their faces gathered together in groups of three or three. They must be necromancers.

I secretly recorded the characteristics of the Necromancer, and I turned the telescope again, but saw something unexpected.

A small team of thirteen skeletons, wearing rusty iron armor and holding tattered iron swords, were patrolling continuously along a certain route.

The discovery of the necromancer made me nervous. Although their weapons were no longer sharp and their armor was ragged, it meant that the group of necromancers had begun their evil rituals.

What I want to know now is how long has they started, and how many sleeping heroic bones have been awakened by their evil spells?
To be continued...
