Chapter 50 Ocean Drifting

"Mr. Christo, Mr. Hickrad, Mr. Savos is awake!"

As soon as I opened my eyes, I heard a somewhat familiar and unfamiliar female voice. I searched in my mind for a while before I remembered that the owner of the voice was Alexia Bird, who was saved by me.

"Nine Holy Spirit Bless, Savos, you're finally awake," Hickrad ran to me quickly, "There were times when we thought we were going to lose you."

He kept twitching his nose while saying this, "It's really that serious?" I asked in disbelief.

"Hill said everything is true, Savos," Christo walked over, pointing to the nearby floor, "You'll know when you look here."

I sat up from the bed with the help of Hickrad, and the scene in front of me surprised me: a large pool of blood that had almost solidified was accumulated on the floor of the guest room.

"It's all your blood," Before I could speak, Christo gave the answer, "You were standing in the middle of a pool of blood, and your whole body suddenly twitched like you were sick, and blood was constantly flowing out of your nose and mouth. The two ladies were scared by you."

"I'm sorry," I smiled apologetically at the Bird sisters who were watching me carefully, and then turned to look at Christo, "How long have I been in a coma?"

"It's not too long," Christo shrugged, "It's only seven hours since the successful landing."

After seven hours, I thought about it, which means it is already dawn.

I immediately looked out of the porthole. Outside the cabin was an extremely clear sky. The bright sunshine shone on the sea, and the entire sea area seemed to be sparkling.

"What's going on? Is there something big happening?"

I continued to ask with some urgency, I must know what happened on the airship during my coma.

"Nothing big," said Christo, "the captain immediately posted a full-boat radio after the emergency landing, 'Nine Holy Spirits are blessing us', which is his words, and it seems that he knows nothing about what you do, Savos."

"Isn't this a good thing?" I coughed a few times. Although I woke up, my chest still hurt. "I don't want to make this known to everyone. Ah, speaking of this," I turned to look at the Bird sisters sitting quietly beside me. "Two respectful ladies, please keep this secret for me, okay?"

"Of course, Mr. Savos," Alexia nodded quickly, "My sister and I saw nothing yesterday, and we didn't remember anything."

"What else did the captain do?" After receiving a positive answer, I turned around and asked.

"He fired a distress flare in conjunction with all the senior crew members. It is the third day of our journey and the airship is expected to arrive in Cabofis tomorrow morning."

I know what a distress signal flare is. A technological product of Stran is said to use the magic of a fire magician. This kind of bullet-like thing can be easily hit into the air. Then the fire magic inside it will be activated, forming an extremely obvious and dazzling signal in the air.

"That is," I said as Cristo said, "If we were lucky enough, would the people in Strand see our distress signal?"

"That's it," Christo snapped his fingers and nodded confidently, "Oh, by the way," he added, "the captain also organized the crew to do a reconnaissance. I don't know if this is good news, but they found a desert island."

"It depends on the situation, Christo, it depends on the situation, has the order on the ship been restored?"

"I don't know," Christo shook his head for the first time, "we have been in this room since you were unconscious and have not been out."

"Okay," I nodded and stood up from the bed, "Let's go out and have a look."

I felt it was necessary to go out and see. The rescue team didn't know when it would come. Maybe no one saw the signal flare at all, so I had to prepare for a long-term drift on the sea.

It is naturally the best if the order on the ship has been restored, which means that the crew will re-orderly distribute food and water to the passengers, of course, when these things are still sufficient.

If the boat is still in a mess, it would be a little bad. I am not a person who likes to use violence to solve problems, but I must admit that in this case, it is much more useful to rush into the inventory room to grab enough food for me and my friends than to other methods.

"What about me?" Hickrad asked hurriedly when he saw that Christo and I were about to leave the room.

"You stay here, Hill," I turned to him and said, "these two girls need someone to protect them, and your water spell should be able to handle this."

I thought about it again. For insurance, I finally pulled out the pistol hanging around my waist. "This one is for you, too." I stuffed the thunder wheeled pistol into his hand. "This gun is designed specifically for hunting vampires, so it can easily smash the heads and even the body of ordinary people," I said with a smile. "You have to be careful not to make the room too bloody."

"I understand," Hickrad took the pistol and smiled at me, "You guys are the same, be careful."

I gave him a thumbs up, nodded to the worried sisters Bird, who were a little worried, then opened the door and walked out slowly with Christo.

The corridor was filled with an extremely pungent smell of blood. The body of the person I killed before was still lying there quietly, with blood flowing all over the ground, and it seemed that it was the source of the odor.

What makes me feel relieved is that when I escorted the two sisters Bird back, the noise and conflicting sounds that could be heard at any time and anywhere had all disappeared, and it seemed that the order in the airship had been restored a lot.

I sneered and shook my head. Humans are such creatures. Once I find that I survive, I will immediately start to worry about gains and losses, and I wish I could repackage myself as soon as possible to tear off the disguise.

"It seems like there's no need to worry," I said to Christo in a relaxed tone. "These scumbags have completely lost the courage to make trouble."

Before Christo could speak, my light suddenly caught a glimpse of three people in high-end crew uniforms, who walked straight towards me without any intention of concealing them.

"It seems like there's a trouble," Christo frowned, "What did you kill someone before?"

"I don't know, Chris," I shook my head, "Look."

Christo and I stopped in place and waited for the three crew members to come to us.

This section of the corridor was not too long, and three senior crew members quickly walked up to me, "Are you Mr. Savoscott?"

His slightly respectful tone surprised me a little, and it didn't look like a bad thing.

So I nodded, "I am, is there anything?"

"I am Williams Fuller, the first mate of the Harrier Eagle. You can call me William, our captain, Robert Gabaiway wants to see you."

This kind of invitation to come to the door is generally impossible to reject, not to mention that it is still at the home court.

So I shrugged, "Lead the way, can my friends go?"

"I'm sorry, he can't. Please come here," Williams turned his body and signaled me to follow them forward.

I winked at Christo, and Christo nodded understandingly and walked slowly back to my room. When I saw him entering the room, I pretended to stretch and followed the first mate and his group toward the captain's room.

Along the way, I saw many crew members holding rifles, and some people were constantly "educating" some passengers. Of course, this kind of educational scene was a little bit bloody.

"It seems you have maintained order well," I praised.

"Thank you for your praise," Williams smiled proudly. "The captain and I know well that if an accident occurs, maintaining order on the ship is the most important thing."

"These travelers," he turned to look at the corridor, casting fearful eyes at us, and dressed again, "you will never know what kind of beast they can become."

"I agree very much with this."

"Okay, we're here," Williams finally stopped in front of a wooden staircase. "From this up there is the captain's room and cockpit, and the captain wants to talk to you alone."

"I get it," I smiled at Williams, "Thank you for your lead, William."

"My pleasure."

After saying goodbye to William, I climbed the stairs to the captain's room one by one. At the end of the stairs was a very thick iron gate.

Before I could reach the last level of the stairs, the door automatically opened and a dark figure appeared behind the door.

I was a little surprised. This was a Chantaka. They were residents of the Southern Islands of Strand. They were often dark-skinned and were born jungle warriors. To be honest, I never thought I would meet a Chantaka here. I had only read their stories in books before.

"Welcome, Savoscott," the Changtaka man opened his arms like me. If nothing unexpected happens, he should be the captain, "I am Captain Robert Gabaiwei, welcome you, come in."

He waved at me enthusiastically, and I nodded, speeded up and hugged him, "I'm happy to know you, Captain Robert."

After a brief introduction, I walked into the captain's room. Robert turned around and closed the door, then took the opportunity to hold my shoulder.

He took me to the sofa in the captain's room with a familiarity, "Sit down, don't be polite."

After saying that, he sat down by himself. I saw him pull out a box of cigars from the cabinet beside the sofa. "From Cape Island in the north of Strand, you want to come some of the top goods from the old Charlie's plantation?"

"No," I waved my hand and directly rejected Robert's invitation, "I don't smoke."

"Okay, Captain Gabaiwei," I spoke straightforwardly, "I think we didn't know each other until this accident, so what's the reason you want to talk to me alone?"

"These bodies not far from your cabin," Captain Gabaiwei took a deep sip of the cigar, and then said directly, "I discovered it when my crew members under me went to maintain order. After a simple investigation, I knew what was going on there."

"So are you going to hold me accountable for the law?" I asked curiously.

"No, no, of course not," Captain Gabaiwei stretched out a finger and shook it, "Instead, I think you did it right," he stood up and once again took my shoulder, "Look, I'm a Strandman, and you're an Empire, by chance, rape, both in Strandman and the Empire, is a death penalty, just a gallows, an axe that will be held by the executioner."

"Where are those people behind?" I asked with a smile.

"A bunch of scumbags," Captain Gabaiwei waved his hand and showed a disgusting expression. "If it were on land, they would have died long ago. These hypocritical old-school nobles sometimes really disgusted me."

"It's great to hear you say this," I laughed happily. "To be honest, I'm a little worried about this."

"Don't worry," Captain Gabaiwei waved his hand. "My crew and I have collected evidence to prove your innocence. Whether they report this to the government agencies of the Empire, or to Strand, you will not have any problems. You are doing the right thing, Mr. Savos."

"But I guess you asked me to come over, and you wouldn't just want to tell me this. Is there anything else you can do to me?"

"Talking to smart people is to save energy," Gabaiwei laughed happily. He snatched a few more cigars and pulled me and said, "I want to ask you and your friends to work for me on the security team for a day to stop some possible situations."

"Why is it me? What's the situation?" After hearing Jia Baiwei's words, I became even more curious.

"You have killed the nobles," said Gabaiwei, and he became serious. "I know my crew, Mr. Savos. They may dare to educate some passengers who have lost the civilized behavior that mankind should do, and can maintain order, but most of them are civilians, so I know that they will never dare to shoot one, or even multiple nobles."

"But you and your friends dare, and I can be sure that when I see you, I need someone like you to be responsible for the security work in extraordinary times."

"As for what is going on," Gabaiwei said, and smiled bitterly, "I can tell you the truth that the ship is slowly sinking."

"What did you say?" Jia Baiwei's situation was beyond my expectations. I shouted out a little out of control.

"Although I don't want to admit it, the ship is sinking," Gabaiwei's smile once again made me confirm the bad situation. "Maybe it was hitting something that shouldn't have hit, I don't know, but my crew has blocked that area."

"Is that place already big enough to sink the ship? Can that area be blocked?" I asked unwillingly.

"Yes, Mr. Savos," Gabaiwei smiled bitterly for the third time, "that area cannot be blocked. I know you are a top student in the Comprehensive Academy, but you are not the only one here who understands physics."

"Sorry, Captain Gabaiwei. What are you going to do?"

"My crew members are arranging lifeboats. I plan to transfer everyone to the deserted island next to me. Unfortunately, there are only six lifeboats, each of which can accommodate eight to ten people. They are all prepared for such a situation of forced landing at sea."

"I understand," I nodded, "Once you declare that the ship is sinking, these nobles who are afraid of death will definitely fight for these lifeboats. You do need some people who can maintain order."

"That's it," Jia Baiwei nodded, "Would you like to help me?"

"Of course, why not?" I shrugged, "The last question, how long can this ship last?"

"My people are still scooping water there and three shifts. Including them, we can only last for more than ten hours at most."

"Then we probably have to act quickly."
