Chapter 1 Preparation before departure(2/2)
"Think about yourself, Hill," I retorted, "Serfire must go with you too."
"Oh no," Hickrad's face immediately became extremely bitter, and he grabbed his hair, "How did I forget this!"

"What!?"
Erin turned around and stopped tidying up the easel above the fireplace, but looked at me angrily, "Do you want to go to Chelfido?"
"Uh..." Her angry look made me feel guilty. I lowered my head and reached out to scratch my head. "I think yes, Erin," I said carefully, "After all, I have to deal with my injuries...you get it."
The word "injury" was like a bucket of ice water, which instantly extinguished the anger in her eyes. "Of course I understand, my dear," she sighed, took my hand, and sat next to the fireplace with me, "Just...I..."
She looked at me sadly, "I don't want you to take risks again."
"Dear," I held her hand and looked her seriously in the eyes. "If there is a choice, I don't want to...but this is something I have to do."
"Okay," Erin sighed again as if she had accepted her fate, "I know this is what you have to do," she said, "but I have a condition."
“What conditions?”
"You're waiting for me here, Savos," she stood up and reluctantly pulled her hand out of mine. "I'll be back soon, and you'll know when I come back."
She ran out quickly with her skirt, leaving me alone, staring at the gorgeous portraits and superb landscape paintings above the fireplace.
Not long after, a clattering sound came from outside. I had a bad premonition in my heart. As soon as I stood up, I saw Erin walking in.
She changed her former ladylike image and her complexly decorated skirt were gone, and replaced by a set of black and red leather armor. She carried a long bow on her back and a long sword hung around her waist.
"That's my condition," she looked at me excitedly, "I'm going with you!"
"What!?" I looked at her in surprise, "This is definitely not possible!
"How did you promise me just now, my dear?" Erin pouted angrily, "You said..."
"Okay, okay," I raised my hands as if surrendered, "You can follow me, but make sure to stay by my side at all times."
"certainly!"

Erin's movements were quick, or, with the help of a large group of maids... she quickly packed up her belongings and we left her mansion at 1:00 pm.
Hickrad was waiting for me at the meeting we had arranged in advance, and he was followed by Sefili's angry Sefili.
"Haha," I walked over to him and smiled gloatingly, "It seems you can't convince her either."
"Shut up, Sarah," Hickrad rolled his eyes, "Are we going to set out now, or do we prepare?"
"Of course you have to prepare again, you idiot," I pushed his head hard, "Eileen and Sephili don't have the right equipment. Do you expect them to fight vampires by relying on this?"
As I said, I pointed to the ordinary armor on them and those ordinary weapons.
"It makes sense," Hickrad nodded, "Ah, by the way," he seemed to suddenly remember something and looked at Erin, "Where are those two sisters?"
"They have returned to the Empire, and Schumat is with them," Erin said with a smile. "The Stranders are...anti-imperialism, you know."
"Ah, of course, of course."
We first went back to the Silver Blood Hotel. As I said, ordinary leather armor could not stop the vampire's claws and those evil magic. We had to prepare some more suitable equipment for the two ladies.
Fortunately, the arms dealers and boxers were there today, which made me feel relieved that I thought they were still avoiding the dangers brought by the war.
"You are not right, Mr. Saren," the boxer smiled at me, "we are businessmen. If the information is not well-informed, it means that interests are lost to us."
He looked at me and bowed slightly, "And I, the boxer, will never let this happen."
"Now, let's talk about business," he pulled us to a remote corner, "what is needed, Mr. Saren?"
"I need two sets of protective clothing of the highest level here," I whispered, "for these two ladies."
"Of course," the boxer laughed happier, "every businessman here knows, Mr. Saren, you have gold coins."
I laughed, "Can you report a number?"
"Three hundred gold coins, no double price."
I took out three gold bars as thick as an index finger and a thumb-length, and handed them to him. What he said was true. The guild seemed to regard calming civil unrest as a task.
As the person who contributed the most in this mission, I received a full 3,000 guild gold coins as a reward.
"Refreshman, Mr. Saren," the boxer took the bar with a smile, "as usual, when you leave, what you want is ready."
"That's all," I nodded, turned to look at Sefili and Erin, "Do you have any weapons you are good at?"
"Uh... Is the dagger count?" Sefili's face turned a little red, and she asked in a low voice after a while.
"Of course, I think you need a silver dagger to defend, where are you, Erin?"
"I've learned to stab the sword for a while," said Erin, "of course... I don't have any practical experience. I have only fought the sword with my coach, and with full protection."
"Well, I think you need a silver-plated steel stinger."
