Chapter 62 Goodbye Sebastian

Kalek is gone, and this old hunter has too much to deal with - Chelfidu's vampire threat has been uprooted, and he needs to seize this opportunity to let the hunters completely grasp the darkness of the city.

I believe in his abilities, but I am also worried about the threat he will face - if, as he himself says, those vampire marquis, dukes, and even princes will soon come to him.

"It's time to go, Mr. Saren," the servant of Viscount Templu brought us a carriage for us, and the coachman opened the door for us, "This carriage will take us all the way to the dock--your ship will be waiting for you."

"Please," Templu turned his hand and stretched out his hand. It seemed that he would not move until I got into the carriage.

"Okay," I shrugged, "to prevent you from standing here all the time, I think I have to go into the carriage first."

I held Erin's hand and got on the carriage with her.

Viscount Templu followed closely behind and got in. The coachman nodded at us, slowly closed the door, and then jumped into the driver's seat with agility.

"Da'er--------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------

Accompanied by a long shout and a crisp sound of a horse whip, the extremely comfortable four-wheeled carriage began to run forward, and we quickly drove out from the main entrance of the villa, and the landscape of the still-unrepaired street in Chelfidu swept through the car windows like silhouettes.

It was still early, and the sun had just poked its head out from behind the horizon. There were almost no people on the streets, and most of the residents who had lost their homes were sent to temporary refugee camps for unified resettlement. They would stay there for a while until the reconstruction of their residence was completed.

The carriage continued to move forward, and the empty streets allowed the coachman to run freely. The city of Chelfidu was not very large, even if it included the dock area outside the city.

The carriage stopped outside the dock, and compared with the city people who were still sleeping, the day here obviously started earlier.

The coachman opened the car door for us and the warm wind with the smell of the sea blew in.

What rushes into the car with the sea breeze is also the noise on the pier, and the melodious whistle sounds from the huge ship in the distance.

"Hey! Gentlemen!" As soon as we got off the boat, a young man came over immediately. He looked only twelve or thirteen years old, with a sense of shrewdness and cunning in his eyes.

"It looks like you're going to go far, right?" he rubbed his hands. "I've got five tickets for the Pearl Girl here - although it's a second class cabin, but it's a luxury steam cruise ship that will stop at famous docks around the world. No matter where you're going, it can meet your needs."

"Good salesman, boy," Templu smiled and returned the ticket he handed over. "It's a pity that you chose the wrong person. We have our own ship."

"Ah, okay," the young man shrugged, not looking too discouraged, "I wish you all the best, gentlemen."

He waved the ticket in his hand and jumped away.

"He's a clever guy," Templu smiled and watched the guy go away. "He's a tutor from major ship companies. If you spend a day watching the dock, you'll find that he always has those luxury cruise tickets on his hands."

"Good strategy," I exclaimed as I followed Templu towards the berth of the small ship, "he must have a good reputation in the dock."

"It's true, it's true." Viscount Templu nodded, "Don't behold he's just a child, he makes more money in a day than most people in this city."

"Ah, look, this is the boat I've prepared for you," he pointed to a streamlined boat ahead, "It looks really good, right?"

"It's very nice," I nodded with satisfaction, "Thanplu for your help, Viscount Templu, I will remember you."

"So too, Mr. Saren."

He sent us onto the boat, and the sailors and boilers quickly became busy under the whistle. As the chief of the engine pulled the switch, a stream of white smoke rushed straight into the sky, and the streamlined yacht slowly drove out of the port with the melodious whistle.

The ship slowly turned south after a period of straight journey, and after a period of sailing, it would sail into the port of Cabofis.

◇◇◇◇◇

After four hours of trek, the ships followed the somewhat majestic current and sailed into the dock of Cabofis.

The lighthouse in the dock area lights up and directs the ships to divert and transport them into berths in an orderly manner.

The "Templu", a cruise ship named after him, slowly sailed into the port. After a shaking, the ship completely docked next to the berth.

The sailors raised the landing gangway and created a path between the cruise ship and the dock at the fastest speed.

"Ha! Saren Nowes, our great hero, welcome you back!"

A person I could not have imagined appeared on the dock, spread his arms and gave me a big hug with a smile.

"Christo," I looked at him in shock, "Why are you here...I didn't say to anyone..."

"Yeah, but all over the world - well, at least the vampire hunter guild intelligence in Strand is common, right?"

"It seems Kalek told you," I nodded with clarity, "we dealt with a lot of things at Chelfidu."

"Yes, yes, I've heard that the great hero of Chelfidu calmed the joint attacks between vampires and the rebels."

"Come on, we're preparing you a welcome party," he waved to me, "and there's good news - Sebastian is back, I think you'll be happy to see him."

"Sebastian is back!" I grabbed his hand hard and looked at him in disbelief, "What you said is true, is that old man back?"

"Ahem, Mr. Saren," an old voice that I was familiar with and had not heard for a long time came from behind Christo, "It would be a bit rude to use such a name to an old man."

Sebastian smiled and stepped out, "It seems that the heart I asked for for you is useless. I'm glad you solved these problems yourself."

"People always have to grow, old Sebastian," I hugged him hard, "I'm so glad you're back."

"I'm back means another thing, I think you should understand, right?" He looked at me with a smile. "We've been delaying this matter for a long time, and it's time to set off."

"When it comes to this," I frowned, looked around, and shook my head, "Forget it, this is not a place to talk. Let's go back to the guild headquarters first and talk after we arrive."

"You do know how to think," Sebastian nodded with relief, "this is exactly what I want to see."

"Okay," Christo looked at us with disgust, "Let's continue your flattery when you return to the guild, but I can't wait to go back!"

◇◇◇◇◇

When we entered the guild, we were greeted with thunderous applause and smiles from everyone.

"The Silver Blood Hotel was held tonight," Christo smiled and approached me, "all came to hunters and industry insiders, and everyone knew what you did at Chelfidu."

"Good job, Salon, good job," Vic walked over and slowly clapped his hands with a smile.

"Things have changed a little, hunters," I raised the voice to the greatest extent to stop the hunters' applause and cheers.

Everyone stopped and looked at me with a serious expression. My frown and serious expression made them realize that things were not as simple as they thought.

"What happened, Saren?" Vic's face twitched slightly, "Your face doesn't look good."

"Yes, I have two bad news." I took a deep breath and told them what they didn't know: "Kalak took action, and it was the famous white blood nemesis on the list."

"In addition, all the evidence shows that the Lord of the Vampire is planning a new invasion - bringing his demon servants and vampire servants. We must prepare in advance."

Before I could finish my words, the sound of gasping in the field was heard in pieces. The hunters sat back in their seats, and their expressions became extremely solemn.

"Calek took action?" Vic's brows frowned even more, almost becoming a cross-straight character. "This is not his style... those vampire marquis will definitely know the news."

"It's not Kalek," I sighed, "You didn't see the tragic situation of Chelfidu. A large number of civilians died in danger and turned into brainless vampires by the plague. In addition, I doubt whether these vampires who are less than the Count's level can be remembered by the vampires above."

"No matter what, let's deal with it first, according to the rules," Vic sighed. "I will go back to the headquarters to announce this matter-I don't want to be the marquises and dukes who come in groups, we don't even have the strength to resist."

"Now, let's talk about the second thing you said," he looked at me, his eyes sharp like two long swords. "You said the vampire has a master, and he also ruled a large group of demons. Do you have any evidence?"

"Have you heard of the name Strad?"

"Strad, isn't that a character in the history book?" Christo looked over curiously, "In the story, he betrayed himself to the demon in exchange for terrible power. He was also cursed and became the legendary first vampire."

"What if I tell you, these stories you think are all things that have happened?"

"What did you say...it's impossible," Christo would have wanted to refute me with a smile, but looking at my extremely serious expression, he slowly stopped his smile and opened his mouth wide, "Oh my God, this is all true?"

"Yes," I sighed, looking at the other hunters who had not had much better expression in the hall than him, "I know you need more time to digest the news, but be prepared, it's just the beginning."

"In fact, I have repelled the invasion of his demons. To be honest, it was a terrible nightmare. All kinds of demons rushed to the city walls like a tide. The creatures that only appeared in your nightmare roared up the city tower, murdered your companions, and shattered their limbs."

"Wait..." Christo looked at me, his mouth getting bigger and bigger, "You mean the incident that happened in northern Valenlia, the incident that our guild still identifies as an unknown commotion?"

"If the incident you mentioned happened in Palik Town, yes, that's it."

"So that's it," Christo took two steps back with shock, "that makes sense, why did Valenlia firmly block all the intelligence related to that matter, even if my people and I were trying their best to get a code name - Lancelot."

"Lancelot, ha," I raised my head, as if I had walked through the wooden roof, saw the endless clear sky outside, and seemed to have traveled through time. The shouts of killing on the city walls and the hideous faces of the demons once again attacked me.

"Wait," the hunter among the crowd slowly raised his hand and pointed at me as if he realized something. "You won't tell me that you are the damn Grand Knight Lancelot!?"

"Ah. Yes, I'll just say Lancelot."

"Okay, okay," he smiled bitterly, and shook his head, and threw admiring eyes at me with the hunters around him, "You are really not showing off, man."

"This is not something to brag about," I smiled bitterly. "I have a falling out with Valentia. Maybe there are still crazy believers running around the world, wanting to take my life and head and please their fairies."

"Anyway," I decided to end the topic, "this is how it is, we'd better prepare early so we won't be caught off guard."

"So we should set out earlier," Sebastian stood up, "and must set out immediately. If Strad himself arrives, our weapons will not be able to hurt the butcher."

"Sebastian, you're talking...ah! I understand, you must have been doing research on this, right?"

Vic looked at him as if he had known Sebastian for the first time, and the three scars on his face were also wrinkled due to facial movements. He looked at Sebastian and stared at him for a long time, finally sighing, "Okay, I won't ask what you are going to do. In short, during the time you are leaving, I will try to unite all the vampire hunters and get help from every country."

"When I'm not sure if those in power will take our words seriously, this is too bizarre - if you hadn't come up with so much right evidence, I'm afraid many people here wouldn't believe you."

"If they don't believe you, then..."

I hesitated for a moment, then smiled faintly, "Then let's report the name of Saren Novez, tell Eindhoven, tell Valenlia, tell those who are hostile to me, this is my warning, and they will be serious, even out of hostility."
