37 Destiny

When Hoffa returned to the school hall, all the students were asleep here. Students from the four houses did not return to the common room. They got into sleeping bags and slept on the floor.

This scene is strikingly similar to the scene when Sirius invaded the school in later generations, but the nature was even worse than that time.

On the ceiling, dark nebulae rotate slowly, with some green lines shining like eyes.

The only light source in the entire hall is the Hogwarts Orb in the center of the hall. It rotates slowly, and its dim light seems to be squeezed by the darkness, making it dim and weak.

It offers no protection at all.

Countless Auror teachers patrolled back and forth around the tower and halls, and even the wandering ghosts remained alert.

But no one knew where that scary guy entered the school, and Hoffa couldn't figure it out at all.

There are sentries outside the school that even trains cannot enter. The entire Forbidden Forest is strictly guarded by Aurors. Even the secret passages inside the school have been sealed by the school teachers. This year, students are not even allowed to go to Hogsmeade.

How did that guy get in?

Hoffa used his ghost to stroll through a group of patrolling Aurors and came to his two friends. He walked very lightly and did not wake anyone.

But Aglaia was not asleep at the moment. Her blue eyes flickered in the darkness. When she saw Hoffa approaching, she immediately sat up from the ground and wanted to speak.

"Shh."

Hoffa looked at the sleeping people around him and motioned for her to keep her voice down.

"Have you asked about the results?"

In the darkness, Aglaia whispered with an exaggerated mouth shape.

Hoffa shook his head.

Aglaia was anxious: "How could this happen? Who is that? How could he know where I hide things? If it's not Slytherin..."

"Shh."

Hoffa shook his head and signaled Aglaia not to speak.

When she calmed down, Hoffa asked softly next to her ear.

"Is that a key too?"

"What are you talking about?"

Aglaia rubbed her hair, her chest heaved violently, and she looked very excited.

"Your bracelet?"

"What are you talking about? What key?"

Hoffa thought for a moment.

"nothing."

In the darkness, several Aurors passed by.

Hoffa pulled Aglaia down.

The Auror walked slowly on patrol, his eyes sweeping over the row of sleeping bags on the ground. The slender body slowly disappeared into the darkness.

When the footsteps disappeared, Hoffa turned his head and looked into Aglaia's blue eyes. She was also looking at him in the darkness.

"I'm a little scared, Hoffa."

she whispered.

Normally, Hoffa would have to laugh at her, but now, he patted the back of her hand.

"It doesn't matter."

Then he let go and sat up, getting up and walking through the sleeping bags on the ground.

The ghost wandered and disappeared into the dark hall.

...

...

Hoffa knew the location of Osilvia's office. Even if he didn't want to know, he was forced to know it. Because his roommate had already been familiar with the teacher's daily whereabouts, and they would talk about the female teacher for a while every night.

topic.

Her office is located on the ground floor, next to the Slytherin common room. Rumor has it that Dumbledore wanted to give her his sunny office on the third floor, but she refused.

reason.

Hoffa looked at his watch. It was almost one o'clock in the morning, and he was not sure whether Osilvia would be in the office.

He stood outside the door and hesitated for a moment, but then knocked on the door.

"Enter."

Almost as soon as he knocked on the door, a faint female voice came from inside.

The door handle on the office opened automatically with a creak, and Hoffa saw a spiral staircase leading underground, with the faint sound of water inside.

Hoffa walked slowly down. This was the longest spiral escalator he had ever walked, and it was still downward.

After walking up the ten-meter spiral staircase, the sound of gurgling water became louder in the darkness.

Her office is different from Slughorn's, it's a standard Slytherin office.

The office is dark and dull. The furnishings inside are simple.

The office has an all-glass wall. Outside the glass wall, there is a bottomless, black lake. The moonlight that faintly penetrates into the lake is the only light source for this underground office. There are some looming black shadows in the lake.

Swim in it.

After his eyes became accustomed to the darkness, he could see a huge snake-headed statue on the wall.

A spring of water gushes out of the statue's mouth and then drips into the pool.

Sitting on the snake's head, Osivia seems to have blended in with the black background. If it weren't for the faint green light shining in her eyes, Hoffa would hardly be able to identify any trace of her existence.

This water snake nest made Hoffa instinctively uncomfortable.

"I heard about your common room."

Osivia said softly, "It's scary to hear."

Her voice was a little blurred among the sound of the water spring.

Hoffa didn't speak, just looked up at her.

Osivia: "You come to me, does that mean you have made up your mind?"

Hoffa took a few steps sideways: "I can be your assistant coach. I'm not just a spectator, I also want to find that person."

"This is not the original intention of me looking for you." Osivia said calmly.

"This is my goal." Hoffa said, "Not only that, I also have a condition."

"What?"

"I want to know everything. I need you to tell me everything about the Half-Man King and why he appears in Ravenclaw Tower."

"Sorry, I can't answer your question. I don't know the so-called half-human king, let alone his identity."

"Didn't you fight before?"

"Yes, but I failed that time. I didn't get any information from that fight. But I am sure that he is not a wizard."

"Then what can you tell me?"

Osivia slid down from the snake eagle quietly, walked to Hoffa, and looked into his pale golden eyes close to her face.

"I can take you to find the Forbidden Arts Library. No matter what that guy wants to do, his goal is the Forbidden Arts Library. As long as you find the library and set up a dragnet there, no matter how powerful the opponent is, there won't be hundreds or even thousands of them.

Auror's rival."

Hoffa was silent for a moment.

"What will happen after you kill him? What will you do? Get the knowledge in the library?"

"I don't care." Osilvia shook her head.

Hoffa: "Do you care about those ambitious people in Britain? Do you care about what they will do after they get endless bans?"

Osivia shook her head: "I don't care. This world is chaotic and crazy. With or without a library, those ambitious people will not disappear."

"That's true."

Hoffa sighed and stretched out his hand.

"Hopefully this time our goals can be aligned."

Osivia's cold palm held Hoffa's palm, and when she let go, Hoffa felt that there was a hard object in his palm.

He lowered his head and saw that it was a silver sign, in the shape of a snake, with a row of small words engraved on it, "Transfiguration Assistant".

"I'll wait for you at the door of the library after school at six o'clock tomorrow afternoon," Osivia said.

"Which library?"
