34 Dark Souls(2/2)

Hoffa admired this old man a little. He built a tree house in a place like the Forbidden Forest and lived a solitary life. He was really a guy who could endure loneliness.

As soon as I opened the door, there was a squeaking sound in the air, and there were feathers and messy threads all over the place.

A group of chick-like creatures were frightened by Hoffa's arrival and huddled in a corner. They had two oversized eyes, smooth light gray skin, slender legs, and flat feet.

A group of Bowtruckles were lying next to potted plants and looking at him curiously. When he passed by, these creatures thought Hoffa had invaded his territory and began to smash small clods of earth on his head. Hoffa had nothing to do with them.

, he had not yet taken a course on magical animals. Fortunately, Joey arrived in time and whistled, and the Bowtruckles became silent.

As Joey walked into his tree house, those chick-like creatures lined up in a row and slipped out of the corner. They were very timid.

"Are you familiar with magical creatures?" Hoffa asked.

"Cooked? Of course, this is what I want to eat." Joey crossed his arms and said. "There is no animal in the world that I don't know."

After he finished speaking calmly, he put the baby bird on the table, took some herbs and a medicine bowl, and ground them.

"Help me take off the bandage and I'll put some medicine on it," Joey said.

Hoffa did as he was told. At this moment, the baby bird had calmed down and was looking curiously at the Bowtruckle above its head.

After taking off the bandage, Hoffa asked again.

"Then do you know that there is a kind of monkey with a shiny silver body and big eyes. It can always determine the location of the enemy."

"Phantom Monkey." Joey nodded, "Of course I know that it is a very rare and unique creature that has a certain ability to predict the future. Its fur can also be used to make an invisibility cloak. How did you know? Have you ever seen that?

A living thing?"

Hoffa quickly shook his head: "No, I just saw it in a book and was a little curious."

He didn't want others to know about his fight with the dark wizard.

Old Joey didn't doubt him, he handed the ground medicine to Hoffa.

"Clean the wound and apply it evenly."

Hoffa did as he was told. He got some water and washed the wound on the dodo's leg.

My hands were washed out blue.

Joey handed Hoffa a towel and sighed: "The blood of dodos is blue. They have certain spatial magic abilities and can move by flickering. It is of great use for the school to keep them here. Now

If something happens to them, I'm afraid I'll have to bear the responsibility."

"What?" Hoffa didn't expect this. "They were raised in schools?"

"yes."

"Why raise them?"

"Take their blood regularly." Joey said gloomily.

"Why do we need to take blood?"

"The blood of the dodo is an important ingredient in many teleportation spells and even floo powder. Without it, many teleportation spells cannot be cast."

Hoffa turned his head somewhat mechanically: "What did you say? What can the blood of this bird do?"

"The raw material of the teleportation array. The dodo is a magical creature that can transform at will. Many wizards cannot do this. Their bloodline contains magical space magic."

Joey said: "It is precisely for this reason that this kind of bird has been hunted in captivity and the number of existing birds is very small."

Hoffa's expression was a little dull. He immediately thought of the school's destroyed teleportation array. There was no doubt that the murderer who killed the Dodo was definitely the same person who destroyed the school's teleportation array.
