62. Moving into a new house 3

Liu Ge took a look at this home, and what she said made sense. There were not many pieces of furniture here, just one or two tables, a cabinet, and two beds. One of them was made later.

Get a new one.

He looked at her and nodded and said, "Let's do it! It's time to build a new house. This house is not far from the new house, so let's use this house to raise livestock!"

After listening to Liu Ge's words, she agreed very much. It was empty anyway, and it would be good to use it to raise chickens, pigs, etc. But there was no one to guard it at night, and thieves would not be immune to it. So she might as well buy a dog.

Okay. Thinking of this, she looked at Liu Ge.

"Liu Ge, let's buy a dog and tie it here to guard against thieves."

Liu Ge thought it was good and nodded.

Early the next morning, she and Liu Ge had breakfast and set off to the market.

When she came to the market, she wanted to buy a lot of things today, so she thought she should get a carriage.

"Liu Ge, where can I buy carriages?" She turned to look at Liu Ge and asked.

Liu Ge didn't understand why she asked this, but he answered her anyway.

"There is a market not far ahead, which sells cattle and horses."

With that said, Liu Ge took her there, and when they came out, they led a carriage out.

Liu Ge looked at the carriage and asked her puzzledly: "Why are you selling this carriage?"

She rolled her eyes at him: "You are stupid. We bought a lot of things today. How are you going to get them back without a carriage? Do you still want someone to deliver the goods to your door? Others are not fools. There must be a fee. We

It’s better to simply buy a carriage, it will be needed in the future anyway.”

Liu Ge understood, then nodded and said "Oh".

She sat on the carriage, and Liu Ge held the carriage while shopping. She first went to a furniture store and ordered two wardrobes, two large tables, two large beds, eight long benches, and a dressing table.

After looking at it, I thought it was about the same, so I negotiated the price with the store owner.

"Boss, please calculate how much it will cost in total?"

The boss took out the abacus and fiddled with it. After a while, the calculation came out. The boss looked at her and said.

"The total is seven taels, two hundred and twenty dollars."

She did the math, then looked at the boss and said, "Boss, what do you think of seven taels?"

When the boss saw that she was short of two hundred and twenty dollars, he waved his hand and said, "This is not okay. We are also a small business. You can see that it is only seven hundred and twenty dollars."

When she heard that she was only twenty dollars short, she thought, what can she buy with twenty dollars? A pound of meat is not enough, so she discussed it with the boss.

"It's only seven taels. If the boss doesn't want to do it, then I'll go somewhere else." After saying that, she pulled Liu Ge and pretended to leave.

The shop owner saw that she was about to leave, thought for a moment, and quickly stopped her and Liu Ge.

"Seven taels, just seven taels. I wonder when Madam will ask for it?" the shop owner looked at her and asked.

She took out three taels of silver and gave it to the boss, and then said: "These three taels are a deposit. When you finish the work, I will give you the remaining four taels. When do you want it? I don't know if the boss will be able to deliver the goods within seven days."

"

The boss took the three taels of silver and said with a smile: "Okay, we will definitely be able to deliver the goods within seven days."

"Okay, it's settled. I'll pick up the goods when the time comes." She believed that the boss was a trustworthy person, otherwise the business wouldn't be so good. When she first came, she saw a lot of people there.
