Chapter 11 Ghost Appears in the Middle of the Night

Liu Zhili was just about to get up when he heard the voice coming through the door.

"You bitch, how dare you instigate the prince to kill me? I won't beat you to death!" Chunxiang walked in and slapped Xiaoya hard in the face.

She gave a fake smile and said, "Aunt Chun, you must have heard wrong. Xiaoya respects you the most. How could she encourage the prince to kill you?"

As soon as she finished speaking, Qiuxiang slapped her again, but before this slap landed on Xiaoya's face, she was already frozen there, with her mouth wide open, trying to curse, but she couldn't say anything.

She looked behind Xiaoya with a pale face. Liu Zhili sat up straight and looked at her with cold eyes, as cold as a cold wind.

"Aunt Qiu, what's wrong with you?" Xiaoya was confused and looked at Qiuxiang intently as if she had seen a ghost.

Qiuxiang shouted, "Ghost--" and then ran away.

The other aunts also screamed and ran away.

Xiaoya looked back at Liu Zhili, with an ugly smile on her red and swollen face, "Miss, why are you up? If they find out that you deliberately scared them, you will be in trouble..."

"If you don't do anything bad, you won't be afraid of ghosts knocking on your door!" Liu Zhili snorted coldly, with a mocking smile on his lips. Are you afraid of ghosts? Well, tonight, she will pretend to be a ghost for them.

"Xiaoya, go out and buy some powder and white cloth for me -" Liu Zhili ordered coldly.

"Oh!" Xiaoya calculated her money. Fortunately, these are not expensive. There are some leftover from the bird's nests she bought last time. It will definitely be enough to buy these things.

At night, the spring garden was filled with smoke. It was already the third watch. Frogs were croaking outside and the weather was sultry.

Chunxiang seemed to hear someone calling her name, Huafang, Huafang...

There was a shrill sound, and it was long and faint, as if it came from hell.

She sat up irritably, then kicked the night maid who was dozing on the ground, "Go, get me some water, and open the window -"

"Yes, madam!" The maid rubbed her hazy eyes, walked to the window, opened it first, and then turned to the next room to make tea.

Outside the window, the fog was hazy, but the fog was a bit too big. She closed her eyes and shook her head to shake away the ominous premonition. She opened her eyes and saw the horrifying scene outside.

The woman in white had a pale face, her black hair was spread around her face, and she looked as if she had just been fished out of the water.

She looked at her with a sad smile, then exposed her scarlet fangs, and her long tongue reached to her chest. Blood oozed from her eyes, and could not stop flowing from the corners of her eyes.

"Ah, ghost -" Chunxiang yelled and then covered her eyes.

"Madam, madam, what's wrong with you?" The maid put down the tea set, stepped forward and stood there with a bow.

"There's a ghost outside, there's a ghost, it's Liu Zhili, I saw it, it's her!" Chunxiang covered her eyes and her body couldn't help shaking.

The maid looked outside strangely. Although the fog was a bit heavy, there was really nothing there.

"Go out and take a look, go out!" Chunxiang opened her eyes and saw nothing. She pushed the maid and said in horror.

The maid responded and immediately walked out. The smoke outside was a bit choking, but there was really nothing.
