Chapter 59

Fight for what you want.

One Sunday, it is rare to take a bus out of the city. I have been waiting for this Sunday because I want to buy what I want to buy...

And on the first two Sundays of that Sunday, I didn’t buy what I wanted to buy due to too many complicated factors. Finally, I waited for this Sunday, and I don’t know how happy it was!

However, I took me out two times before, Brother Peake, after all, I don’t know much about the roads in the city.

And the night before that Sunday, Brother Peake said that he would rather go out and buy it in the future...

At that moment, my happiness suddenly went out. However, I also understood Brother Peake's mood. He could sleep in every Sunday, but because of me, he went out with me twice against his favorite sleeping hobby. This time, nothing happened, and I finally could sleep in. How could he give up a good Sunday laziness because of some trivial matters? Huh... Brother Peake has been very nice to me, and it is supposed to be a good rest.

But my spiritual world really needed what I wanted to buy at that time. So, that time I chose to take a bus out of the city.

Because I want something, I have to fight for it myself.

Aren’t you afraid of getting lost? Well, fortunately, I have traveled a lot and I have the ability to recognize my path. Even if I may be lost, I can still find it back little by little!

This is also the reason why I don’t want to rely too much on others. If the person I rely on says "no", then I can’t do what I want to do?

So, the one who depends the most and feels most secure is yourself.

Huh, although I was ready for everything and was waiting for the car at the door, I had not arrived yet after the car had been driving for more than twenty minutes. No one knew when it would come.

I just waited like this, hoping that the car would come soon... but in the end, the car still didn't come, it didn't come.

Can't I go out in the city like this? Can't I still buy what I want to buy? I don't want it!

So, I went to take a tuk tuk with a few colleagues. Well, the so-called tuk tuk is a tricycle, but it has seats and roofs, which is not bad.

The road I was working on was too bad and the dust was so heavy...

After taking a tuk-tuk for an hour, I arrived at my destination Suriya, and then everyone went to their respective places... I was alone.

Suliya is a large supermarket that can keep up with the level of a big city, with five stories high. It is also a prosperous area in Phnom Penh, the capital of Cambodia. Although it is a bit different from the country, it is really good!

I am alone and not very familiar with the road there, but I still dare to go there.

Brother Peake told me before where there is a bookstore. We have never walked through it, but I went to find the bookstore based on the vague memory... I was not afraid of getting lost because I believed in my intuition. Sure enough, I found it!

That international bookstore has a lot of English books and the price is a bit expensive. There are some Chinese books, but they are not what I like to read. So after strolling around, I went to Suliya’s fifth floor to eat.

The first time I spent in a foreign country alone, it felt good, but the communication was too slow and even the waiter laughed... Oh, it doesn't matter, at least, I had lunch I bought with the US dollar I exchanged in my domestic RMB. That's enough.

I chose to sit by the glass window, and for a moment, I felt quite rich. Haha, just kidding, it was all an illusion...but, I like that illusion.

I bought a few big chicken legs and a pack of French fries, and a large cup of Coke. It was a total of five dollars, which was about 30 yuan in China, and it was acceptable.

What’s a bit special is that there are knife and forks for eating fried chicken legs there. I can pick them up and bite them like in China without knife and fork, but I can’t do it…

Influenced by the atmosphere, I still choose to cut the chicken legs with knife and fork. Of course, I also like this freshness.

As a result, after cutting for an hour, I finally finished cutting three big chicken legs and was full. Huh, I can set out to buy what I want to buy. Haha...

Actually, I just want to buy a desk lamp. Unexpectedly, I couldn’t see the desk lamp I wanted to buy after shopping for a long time. I only saw one of the desk lamps that were charging. But what I wanted was a plug-in desk lamp...

I just didn't give up and continued to look for it. Because I couldn't speak, I didn't know how to ask people. Fortunately, there was a street in China near the Central Market, where there were more Chinese people who could speak Chinese. I rushed over to look for it quickly, but there was no desk lamp, so I asked the owner of a small shop where to buy a desk lamp. Huh, fortunately, she knew...

So I looked for it in the direction she said, Huh, I still searched for a long time... I thought there was no. However, the goddess of luck still favored me, and I still bought the desk lamp I wanted. Haha...

I have worked so hard to find a desk lamp, but I feel thirsty when I think about it. I have to call a tuk tuk and go back to drink water because buying water is very expensive!

OK, I found the tuk tuk, but I won’t say the place name of the Cambodian language in the other place!

I have already asked Sister Lily about this question. She gave me a phone number for a local Chinese who speaks Cambodian language. After I found the tuk-tuk, I called the person and asked the person to negotiate with the tuk-tuk driver...

I called the person and asked the person to negotiate with the driver on the phone. In the end, there was nothing I could do. Although it was a little expensive, the road was really bad after all, and the driver also had to charge more fees... In this regard, isn't this the case for many domestic drivers carrying passengers?

So, how much is the price? Well, nine dollars, which is fifty-four yuan, which is also 36,000 Cambodia currency. After changing it to Cambodia currency, I suddenly felt that I was very rich...

Along the way, there were endless bumps and smoke and dust. Taking a tuk-tuk was not a pleasure, but a discomfort...

The first thing I did after returning to the accommodation, take a shower immediately! The dust with love has already covered me...

The last, that Sunday, although the cost may be a bit too much, I think it's worth it! The money spent is just to consider it as the tuition for me to study and live there...haha...

That day, I shopped alone in a foreign country and bought what I wanted to buy. Finally, I returned to the accommodation safely... Well, it was not bad!

I praised myself at that time! Because, this is a breakthrough! (To be continued)
