Chapter 147(1/4)

After finishing dealing with the two corpses on the ground, Furukawa Kumisa and Akai Shuichi then scanned the place where they came from, and finally found the cable channel hidden in the deep jungle.

After Furukawa Kumisa got on the cable car, he looked over and said, "Wow, such a thin cable is used."

Akai Shuichi had no reaction at all, "It makes sense to make way for concealment."

He was more concerned about another thing than this: "As for that person...are you sure he will come?"

Furukawa Kumisa smiled: "I was completely sure after seeing the bug last night."

She put her fingertips on the edge of the cable car and tapped twice, her tone was a little distant, "What Jiang Guling said before reminded me - it gave me a guess I had never thought of... But after all,

It's just a guess, everything is subject to change before the dust settles."

In other words, the guess itself is ridiculous enough.

As she said that, she turned back, looked at Akai Shuichi and smiled slightly, "You also said that I am a master at playing with emotions."

Akai Shuichi sneered and did not answer.

"Besides, the result of the failure of the plan is what you want to see, isn't it?"

Akai Shuichi still didn't speak, and he didn't know if it was regarded as acquiescence.

He cast his gaze towards the mountains below him and spoke after a while: "I will only help you this time."

Furukawa Kumisa nodded in understanding and added, "Don't worry, if he really doesn't come... I agree to your request and it will still count."

Akai Shuichi didn't like her talking about this the most. His eyebrows darkened and he glanced at her with a cold look: "If you can't speak, you can just kiss me."

Furukawa Kumisa laughed and suddenly thought it would be interesting to tease him at the end.

She raised her head and looked up along the cable. She could already see the rocks protruding from the cliff at the end and the gray steel gate with no gaps sealed on the rocks.

"It's a pity that we can only owe it."

They walked forward and, as expected, saw the palm print device on the door. Furukawa Kumisa took out a square-wrapped cloth towel from his pocket and opened it carefully.

She took out a piece of flesh-colored palm skin that had just been removed from Shrek's corpse, stuck it on her right hand, and pressed it on the fingerprint input box.

The word "PASS" on the screen glowed green, and the steel door opened in response. The thick and heavy door opened to both sides. The friction and movement were unusually easy, making almost no sound.

The most hidden branch base for drug experiments in this organization was quietly revealed in front of the two of them.

After entering the door, there is a path that is not too narrow, but not very wide. Above the head and under the feet are aluminum floors, surrounded by smooth khaki stone walls. The light on the road is not very bright, but it is.

A small red light flickered on the dim stone wall from time to time, which was obviously a camera.

After turning another corner, there was only a dead end. The stone wall in front of it was ground into a flat surface, but its former rugged appearance was still vaguely visible.

Furukawa Kumisa stepped forward without hesitation, reached out and groped twice on the wall, and pushed upward. A stone was pushed up, revealing an electronic display screen. Below the screen were square numeric buttons.

She entered the password with ease, and the stone wall suddenly vibrated slightly, then moved to both sides, revealing a square room, which turned out to be an elevator.

Akai Shuichi looked at her familiar appearance. Although he was slightly confused, he still worried about the surveillance cameras around him and did not speak.

——If it is understandable that she knows some of the mechanisms in the caves of this base, it is a bit strange that she also knows their passwords very well.

But he was very measured and didn't speak. He just followed her quietly into the elevator, pressed the floor button, and walked out of the elevator.

After the elevator opens, there is an endless corridor. Behind the closed doors on both sides of the corridor are the accommodation rooms for base personnel.

Furukawa Kumisa had synchronized the layout of this base with Akai Shuichi earlier. This floor is the dormitory for all mercenaries. Now it is lunch time. Except for a few patrols, there is almost no one on this floor.

Furukawa Kumisa moved his fingertips and secretly pointed to Shuichi Akai's dormitory door where he played "Mike".

Akai Hide glanced at her, silently gestured a "3" to her with his fingertips hanging by his side, then opened the door and walked in as usual.

Furukawa Kumisa casually greeted a few mercenaries passing by in the corridor. Apparently the "Shrek" she played was quite popular in the base, and one of them responded to her.

"Shrek, why don't you go have lunch? Danny should be here for a lunch meeting later."

I silently wrote down the name "Danny". Judging from the description, he was probably the leader of this group of mercenaries.

Furukawa Kumisa shook his head: "I'm not hungry yet, let's talk about it after the meeting."

With that said, she entered her room very normally.

It was a medium-sized single dormitory. The interior of the room was simple but well-organized. The single bed was covered with white sheets, and square quilts and pillows were placed at the head of the bed. There was a small table near the head of the bed.

The cabinet is right in the direct sunlight outside the window.

But these are not things she cares about. From the moment she walked in, her eyes were locked on the desktop computer on the desk.

The screen with the yellow indicator light on told her that the owner of this room, Shrek who had just been sniped by them, was obviously not a careful person. He only turned off the host before leaving but forgot about the display screen.

The smooth entry and unprotected desktop told her that Shrek was obviously not a very defensive person.

Furukawa Kumisa had already learned from the system that there were no cameras in this room. She dug into her pocket with relief and took out an ordinary-looking lighter.

She turned the lighter upside down, touched a small, slightly invisible button at the bottom, and flicked it.

The plastic at the bottom of the lighter slid in to both sides, and a USB port slid out from the opening.

With almost no effort, Furukawa Kumisa hacked into the entire base's LAN from this computer, scanned all the information, and packed it into a USB flash drive.

After finishing all this, and still 5 minutes away from the agreed 30 minutes, Furukawa Kumisa leaned back in his chair and let his thoughts go.

According to Akai Shuichi, their FBI undercover agents installed in this base will pick them up and take them away in 30 minutes.

This base has a very obvious "easy to enter but difficult to get out" style. The base is built on a cliff. Even if they can sneak in as patrol officers, after they enter, it is impossible to replace two people who will go out at the next time.

Patrollers can only use other methods to get out.

On this mountain wall with no way to the sky or any door to the earth, she was really curious about how that person would send them out.

Or...

She smiled, suddenly feeling a long-lost feeling of excitement and apprehension before the answer was revealed.

Don't let me down, Gin.

Ding ring ring ring——

The assembly bell rang, and it was stuck at the 30-minute mark.

Furukawa Kumisa followed the large army out of the door and gathered in the open space in front of the dormitory corridor. He watched the elevator slowly descend, the door opened, and a black figure walked out.

He was wearing a brown trench coat and a gentleman's wide hat. His short flaxen hair was piled bulgingly on the back of his head, and his thin hair hung in front of his forehead. The rhinestone on his right ear reflected the twinkling light in the dim corridor.

bright light.

His whole body exuded a sense of absurdity that was incompatible with the atmosphere here.

But a person who can show off in the base with such an inappropriate appearance is definitely not an ordinary person.

It wasn't until the "lunch meeting" started that she realized that this person was the "Danny" the mercenary had just mentioned.

His voice was a little hoarse, and it sounded muffled, like the noise of grinding glass, which made Furukawa Kumisa feel uncomfortable all over.

After finally getting through Danny's memorized lecture, she felt that the people in the meeting above seemed more impatient than them.

The crowd dispersed, and just as Furukawa Kumisa was about to turn around, he heard that Danny speak again.

"Mike, Shrek, follow me."

Furukawa Kumisa glanced at "Mike" without any trace, and when he saw him nodding slightly, he followed him with confidence.

This magical "Danny" seemed to have a lot of prestige in the base. No one questioned what he wanted to do by calling away his two companions. They all just looked at them casually and continued to work.

Furukawa Kumisa and Akai Shuichi followed him into the elevator. They watched him press "-8" for the elevator and knew exactly where they were going.

The "level 1" they entered was just a middle level, with 10 floors above and 10 below. The organization's base was built by hollowing out the mountain from top to bottom.

It's a good thing they carved a mountain into such a shape that it didn't collapse.

When the elevator door opened, Furukawa Kumisa clearly felt a gust of wind blowing towards him from outside the elevator.

With the dim light in the elevator, she could see that there was only a narrow passage ahead.

It was like a hollow iron bridge. As Danny stepped onto the bridge, she could feel the thin layer of hollow iron beneath her feet trembling slightly.

As they walked on the bridge, they felt that although there was no wind flowing in the air around them, there were bursts of yin energy.

In the dark, people's hearing becomes particularly keen. She could hear the sounds of surging water under this hollow iron bridge, and what kind of creature was unknown underwater - yes, it was a creature.

——whimpering lowly.

Furukawa Kumisa had already judged from Akai Shuichi's appearance just now that the "Danny" in front of her was the undercover agent they had installed in the base. Now that she had stepped out of the elevator and there were no surveillance cameras around, she spoke directly.

"This is the underground wildlife breeding ground of your base. Why did you bring us here?"

Danny led the way, his voice seemed particularly cold in the gloomy environment: "The way out."

Furukawa Kumisa was stunned for a moment: "...you don't want us to swim out of the living water river where they keep crocodiles, do you?"

Danny didn't speak, but silently guided the way in front of them. As he spoke, they could already see a guard box standing on the long and narrow iron bridge.

The two of them consciously took a step behind Danny, and Danny stepped forward and knocked on the window.

The soldier standing guard inside the window recognized the person who knocked on the window as Danny and opened the door.

Danny led the two of them into the guard box, and the soldier opened the door on the other side for them and was about to let them go.

Danny took advantage of him to turn around, stretched out his left hand from behind to cover his mouth, and wrapped his right hand around his neck. With a flash of cold light in his hand, he lightly and deftly scratched the soldier's neck.
