Chapter 43 Dinner

When he arrived at the charity dinner, Zell looked at so many celebrities in the main hall, and the social fear that he thought he had been cured was suddenly in trouble again.

He followed others' imitation to pick up a glass of wine, leaned the edge of the glass to his lips, and then quietly retreated to the corner.

It doesn't matter whether you drink it or not. What's important is to catch this move and tell others that he has no time to talk to him.

There is no such feeling in Poluo Cafe. Zell is not afraid of socializing with people, but is afraid of socializing with high-ranking people. These elites from all walks of life seem very xenophobic, and Zell never regards himself and them as a type of person. He feels that he is just a shoveler due to his interest.

It would be great if someone called him at this time, so he could walk out by taking the phone call. But this is just thinking about it, there is no cell phone in this world.

Just as Zell prayed that time would speed up, he gently patted his shoulder with one hand.

"Sister Kai?"

She was still tall after taking off her hat, and her dark blue hair smelled of shampoo.

"Go out and say?" She turned her head slightly and pointed it at the direction of the door, indicating it with a thumb.

"Save." Zel thought to himself, nodding without hesitation to follow.

When they came outside, people were scattered in groups of three or three in the courtyard, talking about private topics. The two of them saw a corner without a man and walked to a carefully cut ornamental tree to stop.

"Do you also like banquets? Zell, I was looking forward to your performance tonight. They were talking about your cafe, and you were hiding in the corner and drinking wine that you could never finish. I guess you didn't even know what the wine tasted."

Caitlin teased Zelle as soon as she came up, and her passion seemed to be annoyed from other places and deliberately came over to make fun of him.

The sheriff is the sheriff, and he sees it more carefully than others, so Zel doesn't make any arguments.

"There are too many rules for the banquet, not suitable for me." Zel looked at Caitlin and looked around, looking away from someone. "But you, it seems that you can escape at any time. What can make the sheriff so panicked."

"Stop talking." Caitlin said decadently: "I didn't want to come, but my mother insisted on introducing me... the subject. I finally got rid of their entanglement. Those people were not as interesting as the sect of the Justice Department in my opinion, and it was a waste of time."

"That's really hard." Zell couldn't help laughing.

He was sure that none of the other partners his aunt found for Caitlin could do it. How could he do it if he couldn't punch well?

However, Caitlin should consider this matter. She is two or three years older than Zell, who is twenty-four years old this year. She is the only daughter of the main family, and she is under a lot of pressure.

"I won't talk about this anymore, how are you doing today?" Caitlin just crawled back from hell, and she didn't want to tell others about her unlucky affairs.

"It's okay, where are you and Wei? I didn't see her when I was in the square."

"Does that guy Wei look like a person who can stand guard? She is itchy and goes to hit the underground black fist."

"I thought she would accompany you, but this is in line with her style." Zell had already imagined Wei's appearance as winning the championship. Will she buy herself wine with the bonus or invite Caitlin to have a small cake?

"And I, I can only say that Jinx is too lucky to not make a fuss at this critical moment."

"Are you lucky or she lucky?"

"Of course it's me, I don't want to see any files about improvisational crimes again."

Caitlin pressed her temples with a headache. When she talked about Jinx, Zell could hear a very special emotion from her voice, helpless and regretful.

"What are you two saying here?"

A voice that looked very similar to Caitlin but was slightly vicissitudes came from behind, and the two turned around at the same time.

The person who came was Caitlin's mother, the head of Gillamann's family, and the former Ms.

"Aunt." Zel leaned over to the lady to signal.

"I didn't say anything, I just talk about business matters. My cousin asked me to take care of his business more."

"Is that right?" Cassandra looked at the two young men with suspicious eyes. She didn't know when the relationship between these two men had become so good, "Katelyn, I have something to say to Zell."

Cassandra's answer made Caitlin feel a little redundant, and she voluntarily took a step back. Then she noticed that Zell was looking at her and shrugged her shoulders and said that it had nothing to do with her.

"Please tell me, aunt." Zell's eyes turned back.

"Did Roy Fillos work as a clerk in your store?"

"It's true."

"I see you are quite close to Roy Pheros, and I want to ask you where you have developed."

When Cassandra asked this, Zell could feel the enthusiasm in her words, and Caitlin next to her also cast gloating eyes. When a politician can no longer enter politics, the focus of her concern will shift.

"Just an ordinary friend."

"Just an ordinary friend, why should she work in your store?"

Zell began to feel Caitlin's pain.

"That's her business."

"It's okay, don't be shy, I understand." Cassandra looked like a person who had experienced it: "But my aunt still hopes you can work harder and catch the girl."

...

"Shopkeeper, what does Ms. Consul say?"

The next day, Roy heard about this from Zell. She put down what was in her hands and sat down with Zell for a discussion.

"Yes, I didn't expect that I would be urged to get married one day." Zel smiled self-deprecatingly: "My aunt doesn't really care about my relationship. She just wants to promote your and me marriage, and then get the support of Phiros through this relationship, and then return to parliament."

"It's understandable that political marriages are all wrong. People like us are born to serve the family. If we enjoy family resources, we have to pay the corresponding price." Roy sighed and then threw the question to him: "What do you think?"

"What do I think..." It's not a bad thing to be regarded as a tool for being a superior tool, but looking at Roy's conditions and thinking about it carefully, it wouldn't be a loss if this matter could be accomplished, so Zell was in a bit complicated.

“Either stick to your own choices or follow the family’s arrangements.”

Is your choice...

"To be honest, I haven't thought about it. This matter is a misunderstanding. Let's not talk about your and my opinions for now. Both families have not officially contacted each other. Is it too early to consider these?"

"Then be an ordinary friend, you said." After hearing this, Roy got up and went to work, and Ruzel was thinking alone.

After thinking hard for a while, Zer, who felt that he was wasting his time, simply walked out of the cafe.
