Chapter 88: The Death of the Mammoth
The hunter of Winter Claw dispersed his formation and surrounded the two sides with his spears, while the four main players faced the enemy head-on.
The giant beast dragged its wounds to charge, raising black stones and blood ice.
Sejonni and Urkas rushed to the side to avoid the trampling of the giant beast. Looking at Olaf behind him, Bron rushed to him and said with a promise: "You can trust Bron forever!"
As soon as Bron set up his shield, he heard Olaf roaring over his head and leaping towards the mammoth with his battle axe high.
His battle axe hit the mammoth's head, but only fell into it and deviated from the thick skull. The mammoth shook her teeth contemptuously and threw the berserker behind her. The remaining charge knocked the shocked Bronn away with the people and the shield.
Unfortunately, the end of the mammoth charge was where the two Poluo were.
Bron stood up and shook his sore arms, and raised his shield again. Olaf fell heavily onto the rock, laughing wildly, and a strong blood mist radiated from his body.
The two of them bought a chance for Se Zhuangni. She rolled in the snow for a week and gained a foothold. As the giant beast rushed past her, she swung her flail and swept her with all her strength. Zhen Bing's hammer head hit the mammoth's hind leg.
Zhen Bing's life-killing power froze the flesh and blood through the thick skin. His legs were out of control and his huge body lost balance.
The mammoth fell to the ground with a bang, slid along the downhill for a distance, and tried to stand up without one leg. The soldiers surrounded it and stabbed it with their hair, twisting it and letting it bleed.
The pain made the mammoth jump up suddenly, and one of its front legs trampled out, trampling a soldier who had not yet had time to evacuate the dangerous range into a meat paste, and he didn't even have time to scream.
Death stimulated Olaf. He was deeply trapped in blood mist and rushed towards the mammoth. The mammoth shook his head and picked it up, but he swung it on his back with his teeth, aiming it at his head and slashed it, just like a woodcutter cutting down the stubborn roots.
The mammoth struggled with his head tilted, shaking his body to throw the berserker down, but Olaf could ride a wilder monster and could not get rid of him no matter how hard he was.
While the beast was all focused on Olaf, Urkas wanted to use a fatal blow to end the mammoth. He raised the giant sword over his shoulder, rushed under the mammoth, and cut the thick skin under its heart with the blade.
However, the next second, Urkas was rubbed by the mammoth that was thrusting hard on his upper body and fell out. He broke one of his legs and staggered and crawled on the snow.
Mammoth's eyes were burning with pain and anger, and she roared and rushed towards Urkas.
Just when he thought he was going to be a piece of rotten meat under his feet, Bronn rushed out from the side with his shield and knocked the mammoth down.
Zell noticed that this time he did not use the ancient Ornn magic of the shield, but only used his own power as a human being.
Se Zhuoni rushed over with the Wrath of Winter, screaming and grabbing Zhen Bing at the end of the chain with her other hand, stuffing the whole piece into the wound cut by the giant sword. Zhen Bing ablated flesh and blood and emitted a blue and white flame.
The pain was unbearable, like inserting a hand into a fire. Se Zhuoni pushed Zhen Bing deep into the wound until her numb hands could not continue to hold Zhen Bing. She pulled out the hand, her bent fingers lost consciousness, and she was severely frostbite.
The mammoth paused, her huge heart was frozen in her chest, and the blood clotted into ice to pierce the blood vessels. Its eyes were blizzard-like white and turbid, and its movements became more and more stiff, but it still struggled to stand up.
"Olaf, come down!"
Sejonni's voice penetrated the blood mist in Olaf's mind. He stopped slashing wildly in his hand, shook his head and jumped out of the mammoth. The hunters surrounded him and stabbed the spear. Sejonni ordered them to stop. The hunt was over and the wolf spirit would arrive soon.
"It's over." Bron sighed, threw his shield and sat on the snow.
"Why don't you use Orn's magic on your shield? You're so sure you can knock the mammoth down." Zell's voice rang in his ear.
"One of its hind legs is gone, Bronn just needs to hit the other hind legs..." Bronn said as he said, his voice weakened, and even he felt that it was not convincing: "Okay, Bronn also wants to use it, but I don't know how to use it."
"That last time with Olaf..."
Bron scratched his head: "Bron doesn't know what's going on. He was knocked out on the shield by himself."
Zel remembered the thunder: "It may be that Wallybell's power caused the shield to rebound, and we all know that Orn doesn't like his stinky brother."
"The giant bear that has been subjected to thousands of guns..." Bron was a little puzzled: "Why does Olaf have the power of a bear man?"
"It's not the first time that Winter's Claws have encountered famine, and the last time they called the bears to slaughter a city before they survived."
"this……"
On the other side, Se Zhuoni pulled out her weapon to pay tribute to the mammoth who stood until the last moment.
The giant beast looked down at her, not caring about her posture.
It just took a step back and fell off the cliff.
Thousands of feet below the cliff is the largest inland lake in Frelljord, Laxtak.
"To die!" The crisp sound of ice shattering came into my ears. Se Zhuoni ran to the edge of the cliff and knelt down weakly. She clenched her fists and slammed the ground hard, no longer caring about the pain.
But the mammoth's corpse would not stop sinking because of her roar, and finally slipped into the dark water. In less than a day, it would be frozen in the lake.
Urkas looked at Sejonni, who was in a heavy mood, and a smirk appeared on the corner of his bloody mouth: "If my death could be exchanged for the corpse of a mammoth, I would jump from here."
"The wolf doesn't want you." Sejonni stood up and helped Urkas on his mount. "We will bring you back to the camp and you will survive."
"Why are you going back? Even if my leg is cured, I will be a useless person. Leave me here and you can still lose a mouth for eating." Urkas drove the mount to the cliff and looked at the village of Avarosa by the lake. "Instead of going back empty-handedly, I might as well break into the territory of the Avarosa people until I die."
"Are you infected by Olaf? Are you looking for death?" Sejonni actually liked the idea of leading the cavalry to break into the southern lowlands with his sword, but she had already agreed to Bron.
"Brother, don't say that." Bron immediately stopped this argument, and he shouted: "Don't be discouraged, Bron actually has an idea to let you spend this winter... or even every winter after that."
"What's the idea?" Olaf asked.
"Legendly, Orn has a big urn. The soup inside can survive a whole round of seasonal changes with just a sip of it. Orn uses the big urn to feed the furnace villagers in the Fun Township, but Wallybel thinks he is too kind to mortals. If the mortals can fill their stomachs at any time, they will become cowardly and incompetent! So they killed Orn's followers and moved the big urn to their mountain. The sky on the top of their mountain was dyed blood red by the divine power of the big urn. You know, that is Orn's craft. His magic is indescribable and cannot be hidden. Even those who lose can't hide such divine power!"
If this is said from others, Sejonni will laugh at him fiercely. This legend is not even mentioned. But if it is said in Bron, it is a bit credible. After all, he is holding a real masterpiece of Orn.
She tried hard to search for memories, and suddenly remembered that before she and Ashe broke up, they had poached together in the lost territory. There was a mountain with rugged black rocks, which emitted blood to the sky and dyed the sky red.
Se Zhuoni felt excited, but a question was immediately in front of her?
How would she convince her subordinates to move towards the Bear Human Realm and face the terrifying loser?
"Olaf, I know what we're going to do next, but maybe no one will like it," she asked.
Olaf shrugged, "They don't need to like it. You are the mother of war. They will do whatever you tell them to do, and don't worry about anything else."
"What about you?"
"I like it to death." Olaf's smile pulled as long as the horizon: "Since I've touched them once, why bother touching them again?"
Asking him is a waste of time. Se Zhuoni shook her head, but two pixels were raised on the corner of her mouth.
Whether you are starving to death on your knees or sprinkle blood in the south, it is better to give it a try.
As long as you win the bet, you will be worry-free forever!
Seeing Sejonni accepting the proposal, Bron next to him secretly breathed a sigh of relief, but then became worried again.
"Man, can your idea really lead to peace between the two tribes?"
"This is a wonderful opportunity. Except for Sejonni, Udir Olaf, most of the people in Winter Claws have succumbed to the horror of Woliber, and it is difficult to use all their strength when facing the Bear Man. Obviously, these few people alone cannot take the big urn from the Bear Man."
Zelton said, "But if Ashken brings the Avarosa people to support them, things will turn around."
