Chapter 365: My mistakes can be taken as a warning to you, master and disciple; this is not okay, that is inappropriate...(1/2)
The great sage touched his head, shrank his head and said with a smile: "Bodhisattva is joking, I dare not use my head to bet against the fate of a country."
"Hehehehe." The Bodhisattva smiled and looked at Tripitaka: "Those who use the Buddha's name to do illegal things in this country are subject to the national law, and those who deserve to be punished for their crimes are not allowed by the national law, nor are they allowed by the Buddha's law."
"The laws of the country cannot be trampled upon, and the Dharma of Buddhism cannot be desecrated." Master Tripitaka bowed to the Bodhisattva and said, "It's just that this king also wants four famous monks."
"Amitabha." The Bodhisattva said with a look of pain on his face: "In a country that has destroyed the Dharma, those monks and poor monks who have violated the precepts have been saved with their own hands. The monks who have done good deeds have been sent out of the country. At this time, there are no monks who have accepted the ultimatum and who violated the precepts and deserve to be killed."
"This is the Bodhisattva's fault." The Great Sage was still bold, "If you, old man, had left a few monks for the king who deserved to be killed, you wouldn't be in trouble now."
Wujing also asked the Bodhisattva, "Bodhisattva, which one is greater, the national law or the Buddhist regulations? If there is a conflict between the national law and the Buddhist regulations, which one should prevail?"
After hearing the words, the Bodhisattva also fell into deep thought for a moment. After a moment, he slowly spoke: "There are countless countries in the world, and Buddhism is also full of sects. Each country has its own laws, and each sect has its own precepts. Some sects rely on the destiny of the country.
However, some countries are established with the support of sects, so there is no definite number. If you really want to establish a charter, I'm afraid you have to look at other people's actions."
Wu Jing was thoughtful and stood aside quietly without saying a word.
Bajie spoke again, "Master once told us that the same was true for the countries of China back then. King Zhou divided the world, and the laws of each country were different. During the Seven Heroes of the Warring States Period, seven cultures were at their peak, and they were among the countries.
There are many kinds of sacrifices to gods. When the First Emperor unified the seven kingdoms, he not only unified the territory, but also made great achievements in writing, weights and measures, and Chinese culture."
Everyone looked at Bajie, you fool, you are bolder than a monkey, you can say such words without hesitation. Everyone saw that he still had something to say, so they did not stop him, wanting to see what else he could say.
Come.
When Bajie saw that everyone's eyes looked expectant, he swallowed his saliva, gave in, and hid behind his master.
Everyone thought it was boring, but they didn't force him too much.
When the Bodhisattva saw this, he said to Tripitaka: "The skills Tripitaka teaches his disciples are beyond compare to the poor monks."
This is true. Even a lazy person like Bajie can be trained by Master Sanzang to his current level. Sanzang can be regarded as a famous teacher in the three realms, not inferior to Master Yuding.
The Bodhisattva didn't stay long. He knew Master Sanzang's abilities very well. Even if he destroyed France, he couldn't stop him. It also added a difficulty to the westward journey. However, this matter was due to his own negligence after all, so he waited here.
He explained the reason clearly.
Before leaving, the Bodhisattva said to Master Tripitaka: "The poor monk has made mistakes in this matter, so Tripitaka took action to calm it down. However, all conflicts between wisdom and knowledge are caused by cause and effect. Even if the poor monk has been incarnate and walked in the world for a long time, he still made mistakes. I
If you make a mistake, your master and disciple can also learn from it."
"good."
Fahai nodded in agreement. Since their master and disciples are here, and the Bodhisattva has made a special trip here to wait for them, why not just take over this mess? Their masters and disciples are walking in the three realms, saying they are going west to get scriptures, but there are things everywhere along the way.
Practice, "Since my master and disciples traveled to the west, the Bodhisattvas have taken care of them everywhere, so I will leave this matter to the poor monks."
It's just that the ordinary ways of slaying demons and killing demons don't mean anything to them. It's just about exploring mountains, slaying demons, and saving the undead.
On the way back to the South China Sea, the Good Fortune Dragon Girl said to the Bodhisattva: "This Master Tripitaka is really extraordinary. His four disciples are also extraordinary people. They will definitely be the mainstay of Buddhism in the future."
When the Bodhisattva heard the words, he smiled and said, "This is a very good thing to say."
The Good Fortune Dragon Girl blinked and asked, "It seems that the Bodhisattva doesn't see it that way."
"You also listened to what Bajie and Wujing said just now. What do you think?"
The Good Fortune Dragon Girl thought for a while and said: "If Lingshan wants to unite with the Buddhist sect, where in the South China Sea can we do it?"
"What scripture did the poor monk teach you to practice?"
"Surangama Sutra."
"Do you know which sect or sect the Surangama Sutra belongs to?"
The good and wealthy dragon girl thought for a long time and then slowly said: "My disciple is ignorant and doesn't know the method."
"In my Shurangama, I have obtained the essence of the four schools of pure Zen and Tantric law. I can break the confusion and see the truth. I can cultivate according to my nature and see Bodhi." The Bodhisattva looked at the good and wealthy dragon girl and said: "Join the Buddhist sect into one family? Whose family do you belong to?"
"
The good and wealthy dragon girl took a breath of cold air and said, "We are together in the South China Sea?"
"False words." The Bodhisattva glanced at her.
But the good fortune dragon girl had already begun to have a strong desire in her heart.
Because of her great strength, she could pour water into the rivers and seas. Because she was young and ignorant, when she was making waves in the sea, she was captured by the Bodhisattva and kept under his command. After she transformed, she was included on the gate wall of the South China Sea and became a good and wealthy dragon girl beside the Bodhisattva.
Although I have subdued some of my stubbornness by following the Bodhisattva's recitation of the Buddha's name, my dragon nature is still there.
The dragon girl was thinking wildly, but the Bodhisattva didn't say much. She was definitely not at peace today, because the Eight Precepts and Wu Jing's words were definitely not tolerated by Buddhism at the moment.
Not all Buddhas and Bodhisattvas are like her.
Otherwise, why would Buddha be trapped in Lingshan Mountain and not come out?
Why are the dojos of Manjusri, Samantabhadra and Avalokitesvara neither in Lingshan nor in Xizhou Buddhist Realm, but in Nanzhou?
It seems that it is a continuation of the entanglement between the two sects of "Chanjie", but in fact it is not.
"Amitabha." The Bodhisattva recited the name of the Dharma and said in his heart: "Even if I practice Dharma in the human world, there are still some imperfections. Firstly, it is due to the high regard I have for being an immortal Buddha; secondly, I seem to despise all living beings in the world.
Already."
What about others?
The Bodhisattva's figure disappeared into the cloud road. The Great Sage showed a slightly sad face and looked at the Master with a little worry: "Master, I'm afraid the matter of destroying France will not be so easy to solve."
When the Bodhisattva Shicai arrived, he suppressed his emotions a little and pretended to be fine.
Now that the Bodhisattva had left, the Great Sage told the Master some practical difficulties, "Although thieves are using the Buddha's name to do illegal things, but in the position of the king of a country, it may be difficult for a Buddhist temple to operate again."
This chapter is not over yet, please click on the next page to continue reading! "The Bodhisattva is still soft-hearted." Bajie said softly, "Let me tell you, the reputation of Buddhist temples in destroying France has been ruined anyway, so it is better to tear them down.
, can be destroyed and then established. This time the Bodhisattva only got out the fake monks, but he himself punished the real monks who violated the precepts without letting anyone know about it. How can the king let go of such an act?"
Wu Jing also lowered his head and said: "Master, I'm afraid that the king doesn't believe that all the monks in the country are fake, so he deliberately named four famous monks. Then we bumped into each other."
"Ha." Xiao Bailong said coldly: "He only wants his famous monks. We are here holding the Tang Dynasty's national certificate. How dare he attack? Although he is the leader of the country, he cannot kill indiscriminately. Regardless of right or wrong,
As long as four famous monks are killed, let them try the Dragon God's wrath."
At this time, the Great Sage said in a quiet voice: "Amitabha, this benefactor is too murderous and does not act in the right way."
When Xiao Bailong saw his elder brother making trouble, he knew that he was deliberately teasing him, so he cooperated and said: "If you dare to be a master, what is the right way?"
The Great Sage's face became more pious, like an old monk who has experienced the world of mortals, and there was an aura of ancient simplicity in his body, "Amitabha, that country wants to kill living beings, and if he doesn't kill us, no innocent monks will be harmed by him."
, in this case, it is natural to sacrifice one's life to save others. This is the so-called "If I don't go to hell, who will?"
Snapped!
The great sage was hit on the back of his head.
Fahai almost laughed angrily at the monkey head, and said in a feigned rage: "If I don't go to hell, who would go to hell like this?"
These words are like this, but I can't help but think in my heart: If Ting Ting understands this and tells Ksitigarbha Bodhisattva these words, I don't know what his expression will be like.
The words of the great sage are naturally a negative example.
But I have to say that many monks have really learned Buddhism like this.
Some have purely evil intentions; there are also some honest monks who recite the Death Sutra too much and gradually become inflexible and even stubborn, and do not fundamentally think that this is wrong.
So much so that they do some stupid things that are incomprehensible. The most common one is to exchange their own lives for the lives of others. The end result is often that evil people do not keep their promises. The monk seeks his own peace of mind and does not do anything.
What a real thing.
Master and disciple Fahai are by no means honest monks, nor are they fanatical believers who stick to scriptures and Buddha's clouds.
In particular, the Buddhism practiced by Fahai seems to be a gathering of hundreds of schools, but in fact the core lies in a zen so that when Fahai taught his disciples, he never asked them to pray to the Buddha, but to understand their minds.
And worshiping Buddha is just a way of paying respect.
Even the Buddha is by no means omnipotent. The Tathagata appears to be Nirvana and transcendent, but in fact it is far from as grand as it is propagated in the Three Realms.
When Bodhisattva Shicai said that the Tathagata was sitting on the Lingshan Mountain, Fahai started to make all kinds of speculations.
What is Tathagata?
The Tathagata is the true Tathagata, and it takes the path of the true Tathagata to achieve enlightenment from cause and effect, so it is called Tathagata;
And because he came to the three realms and transformed on the way of the True Tathagata, he is called the Tathagata;
He also comes like all Buddhas, so he is called Tathagata.
There is nothing to come from and nothing to go to.
What happened to the Buddha in Lingshan? Fa Hai has never seen it with his own eyes, so he still doesn't know.
Just Guanyin Master
The king of France was going to kill 10,000 monks in front of him, but the Bodhisattva was here to protect him and did not stop the king from killing. This incident made Fahai a little bit unexpected.
Bodhisattva naturally saw Fahai's thoughts, but she did not explain, and some things did not need explanation.
Although Master Guanyin is compassionate, it does not mean that she really does not tolerate killing. Moreover, the Buddhist precepts are by no means as superficial as they appear on the surface.
The precepts themselves are just appearances. What is really important is why these precepts are established. If you just keep the precepts blindly and do not understand the true core of the Buddhist precepts, how can you see the right results?
So, why does Buddhism prohibit killing?
Its true origin is to persuade people to do good.
