Chapter 171: Battle Clouds (1)(1/2)
"I have a hard time denying that I have greed. But stop these whispers. You know that with your mana, I cannot destroy my will."
"The soul belongs to a precious collection, and you are especially precious. How could I give up trying?"
The mouse head, which had already appeared with a pink and purple smooth skin without hair, still had a charming smile.
"You are looking for death, clerk."
As Esky pointed his finger at Bissis, the dimensional lightning formed a hot plasma in the air and bombarded the demon's body. His abdomen was instantly melted into a charred hole on the edge.
"This way, can you remember to follow some rules here? Even if the demons can be resurrected, you have to wait for a long time to avoid being enslaved by the soul furnace."
As he said that, Esky lifted the clerk up with the vertebrae inside the burned hole.
"Can you still repair your body like this now? Or can you send you to the Chaos Demon Realm in this way?"
But soon, the sticky touch moved his sight to Bissis's wound. What did not conform to Esky's perception of ordinary demons was that in his hands, the sticky pink granulation had already wrapped around his claws.
Looking at the tentacle-like granulation that almost surrounded his claws, trying to break through the thin layer of dimensional force field isolated on it, Esky followed the direction of the flesh tentacles, grabbed one of them, and used his right claw to pull it off and grabbed it into the other claw.
"It can still be repaired. This is better than ordinary demons, clerk Mobrière."
"It is Bisces, who is blessed by the big horned rat, my master."
The clerk covered his wound and said gritting his teeth.
"Doess (Blessed by Big Horn Rat) torture, does this suffix mean that you are too shady and are treated like this by other demons?"
"Speaking of this, where are your pliers? Why didn't I see it? Is this hairless mouse look, is it your new owner guessing what I am interested in? This means that you can't see through my soul completely?"
The engineer's words showed more contempt for the Slaane Demon, and he pulled his arm back from the wound that was still squirming. Then Esky said.
"I don't care what you and your new master are planning, because I know you can never eradicate it."
"If you want to leave your new master's trash for me, then leave it, or leave my territory now, otherwise the next plasma will be aimed at your poor little head."
"Okay, OK. My master, don't mind me leaving."
With Esky's nod, the clan rats of the Mede clan gave up a path, allowing Bissis to slowly move towards the northern gate.
Along the way, the Slaane Demon looked back towards Eski in one step and three times.
He even caught a clan rat leader wearing obsidian armor sleeping in a shack on the road.
Bissis's tail hooked the lower limbs of the clan rat, stroked his chest, causing a feverish desire to emerge in his eyes.
Eski knew very well that it was not a charm spell or anything like that, because Bisces did not have the magic fluctuations he had when he whispered to him just now.
That is simply being inspired by Bissis's appearance, the most primitive desire was aroused.
In other words, can’t we see Bisces in his eyes in the eyes of other clan rats?
"Only a special group can see the original appearance of the Slaane Demon, which ordinary mortals cannot do, so they see even Scarven, who has the highest chaotic resistance."
Eski murmured, letting Riel's gaze on the side also turn to Bissis over there.
The "bighorned rat" is still there, and they obviously will not be affected by this. It is the fault of those ungodly heresy who should be sacrificed.
"What's this?"
Riel's eyes fell on the ground, and was trampled by clan rats, almost causing him to trip over a pile of paper-like things made of purple material.
"I really left his new master's stuff."
Esky walked over, picked up the things and flipped through them.
"Devil forging technology? Slaine Demon Engine? It's really some good things. Are the souls of another world so valuable?"
The technology must not be used directly, and can only be used with some of the principles, and even raw materials cannot be used.
But in this case, it would be the same as not getting these technologies.
"It doesn't seem to be certain."
Esky remembered the usual practices of rats.
"It's you, Akins, I can teach you a small class. It's really big-horned rats are favoring you."
About an hour later, Akins, who had officially become an apprentice of Esky, appeared in the Scurry factory in the underground fort with two large bags about the same height as them.
"Sure enough, the transportation capacity of this teleportation array is still too weak."
Eski complained.
The teleportation of people and things for such a long distance was not only exhausted the shadow wind he collected, but also consumed about one-eighth of the dimensional energy.
"Okay, my dear apprentice, let's start learning the engineering technology I've taught you here."
"Start with the rune practice, is that OK?"
"You are still so ambitious, Akins, I recommend you to start with the mechanical structure."
Esky stretched out his claws and pulled out a stack of rat scrub paper that Akins had hugged tightly, and turned it to the mechanical structure behind.
“If you want to raise your upper limit, it’s best to start with the manufacturing of these precision structures.”
This way, your broken time should be delayed a little.
Esky muttered in his heart.
He did not intend to send another spellcaster to Slaanes. As long as Akins showed signs of Slaaneism, he would be killed immediately.
However, before they could continue teaching and experimenting, a group of engineers broke into his factory.
"Vitrick, and everyone, I didn't expect you to be there too."
This chapter is not over, please click on the next page to continue reading! Esky looked at the guards outside the door in dissatisfaction, and soon looked away again.
It is still too reluctant to let the clan rats block the engineering warlock.
"Such obvious teleportation traces, aren't we blind?"
Vitrick spoke.
"What are you going to do this time?"
“Build a road.”
Eski said with a smile.
Slaanes' technology is very helpful for the early release of the Dimensional Stone generator, but this also requires Akins, a teenage mouse who is not white-haired, to try out the toxicity.
"The mines here are enough, but the food is still very tight. As far as I know, the transportation capacity of the slippery clan is already full."
"Another port in my southern stronghold can get enough supplies from the sea. As long as the transportation capacity can keep up, it is easy to supply hundreds of thousands of rats to consume."
"But I heard that the people of the slippery clan plan to connect your side with the underworld, which is another suspect of betrayal."
An old engineer asked, staring at Esky with the only one eye he had left.
"No matter how good the intelligence expert is, he can know the movements of the slippery clan faster than me. Why did he come here to be an engineer warlock?"
Eski sneered, then shook his head and made a look of regret.
"I really don't know what you are talking about. What betrayal? Is there any black and white agreement between me and the slippery clan?"
The group of engineers immediately became noisy.
It is not just because Esky's move may mean that there may be the same betrayal to them in the future, but also because they really signed a black-and-white agreement with Esky with their own blood.
"Quiet!"
Vitrick made a loud noise from the newly installed sound amplifier on the vocal cords that almost caused a group of engineers to tinnitus, and then he turned to Esky's direction.
"What are you going to do?"
"There are small clans everywhere here who are lacking in funds. Maybe I can transform them into our contractors."
As he said, Esky's fingers drew a small circle in the air.
"us?"
Vitrick asked.
"This is a big project, and it is impossible for an engineer to eat it all, right?"
Esky pushed Aigins and his rat scrub backwards, and the dimensional force field blocked the engineers from the inside of the factory, and Esky then realized.
"What's more, the engineering sages of the Skuri clan must be united. This is what the chief engineering sages and the supreme big-horned rat want to see."
Vitrick's eyes were cast on his former apprentice. It seemed that the things in the apprentice's hands were quite important.
He put on a kind smile and said to Eskid.
"Are the Skuri clans? Maybe, we can go to the territory of those small clans together."
Eski smiled back with the same smile.
"Of course there is no problem, my dear Vitrick Grand Warlock."
As both engineers, although the use of teleportation spells was uneven, it took less than five minutes to arrive at the dirtiest place of the underground fortress. The stepped rock wall was dug above the dock.
This is a large settlement for various small clans.
When the slippery clans don't have enough people to unload goods, they often go down and work hard to earn some of their own meals.
To be continued...
