last words
The final chapter was actually written three days ago, but I haven’t dared to post it yet. I was thinking hard about how to continue.
It's a pity that I didn't think of it.
This book is very short. It was originally expected to be five to six million words, but it ended up being reduced by one hundred thousand words.
The reduced content of 100,000 words is about some experiences from the trip. It was originally planned to be completed at the opening of Yuanjia's psychological counseling agency. After thinking about it for a long time, I decided to leave it blank.
After all, this book is based on the emotional line, and by the last chapter, Yuanjia and Gardenia's emotions have reached their peak, and the main line is basically finished.
So far, Mo Mo has talked about about ten case studies and dozens of answers to small questions.
I encountered a writing bottleneck. What I fear most when writing professional articles is that I can’t hold back the professional content I should write.
After all, the case that was written last time cannot be written again, and the next one must be more difficult than the last one, so that everyone can experience the feeling of "upgrading".
Psychological counseling is not popular. I consulted a lot of information, and there were few similar works to draw inspiration from. In the later period, it was especially difficult to write.
On the one hand, it was due to Yuan Jia’s ‘upgrading’ too quickly, and the most important reason was my lack of knowledge reserves.
Ordinary people cannot imagine or feel things they have never experienced before. Moreover, everyone is very busy and no one cares about the pain of others. This is also the reason why psychological novels are not popular.
Furthermore, I am not following the traditional cool writing route. I originally imagined that Yuanjia would work as a psychiatrist in a hospital. This way, there would be many conflict scenarios, such as patients who cannot be solved by others, Yuanjia can pretend to be cool, and then
The colleagues in the department exclaimed that it was awesome, and there is also a clearer promotion and growth system in the hospital. There are more patients, doctors, hospitals, academic conferences and other similar conflict scenes. Such a main line will be quite easy to write.
But similarly, a large part of the daily life in this book will be discarded, including the delicate emotional development.
How should I put it? I had thought about it at the time, but the reason for writing the book was actually a flash of inspiration: 'The protagonist became a psychological counselor because of her high school classmate and healed her throughout her life.'
[Recommended, Yeguo Reading is really easy to use, download it here www. Come and give it a try.]
This was what I had in mind when I started the book, and finally decided on the current writing method.
As mentioned in my book, the pursuit of each protagonist is related to his family background and life experience. If the theme is career line, then Yuan Jia will definitely not be as gentle and indifferent as he is now.
Personality, he may be more cheerful, and the rhythm of the story is more in line with the taste of current Internet literature.
But I still chose the writing method of daily prose, abandoned dramatic conflicts, and used slower and more detailed language to write about the growth and psychological state of the characters, including the visitors in each case.
It has really high requirements on writing. If the emotional state cannot be accurately written, readers will not be able to substitute it and will feel confused.
I think the better-written cases are Gardenia, Wang Yalin and Jiang Shiyun. After all, to a large extent, I have real feelings that I personally experienced, so I can express those emotions better when I write them.
Only in this way will everyone feel that the writing is more exciting and have some feeling.
When I was writing about Cat King, I concluded that everyday writing is actually about writing about characters.
Just like everyone can always see in daily life, the bond between the characters' previous relationships becomes stronger and a certain relationship becomes clear due to the occurrence of certain stories.
That is, the emotional main line and the career line can be summarized as the logical main line.
The advantage of the emotional main line is that it can make the character's presence stronger and more eye-catching, making everyone unconsciously look forward to the occurrence of delicate emotions in daily life.
When writing The King of Cats, I said that if everyone can remember characters such as Sika, Qiqi, Qing Ning, Milly, Bai Ling, Hongxiu, Little Goldfish, Little Garlic Miao, etc., then the characterization has been successful.
The same is true now. If everyone can remember Yuanjia, Gardenia, Huihui, Sansan, and Yika, and an impression will come out in their minds, it is also a success.
Well, it's just me being lazy. In fact, the same actors were used in both books, and even the set of Su Nan was not changed.
Recommend a book "I am the Cat King"
Very cute and warm.
I have to say goodbye to everyone for now.
Maybe a month, maybe two months, maybe longer...
These days when I stop updating, I don’t dare to send out a request for leave. Seeing that so many book friends support me, and then I still write so poorly, I feel very sorry.
If there is a next book, I will choose a happier theme like Cat King, but I don’t have much confidence that I can write it well now.
I quit my job and want to go out for a walk. I will come back when I am about to starve to death.
Thank you all.
Thanks!
love you~
