212 Canuck(1/4)

"Man, you're just going to let us drink beer?"

Rumlow said to Steve while holding a can of beer on the table.

The table was covered with barbecued meats. As we all know, the food culture there does not eat offal very much, so except for large pieces of barbecued meats such as ribs and legs, there was nothing else on the table.

"I think it's pretty good."

Matthew picked up a piece of smoked ribs and stuffed it into his mouth, chewing heavily.

There aren't many changes that can be made in the heat of American barbecue. On the contrary, each store pays more attention to the sauce.

This street shop is not as high-end as paying attention to the taste of heat.

Steve's salary in a high-end store is not enough.

“By the way, can this store bring its own drinks?”

Jessica poked the barbecue on the plate with her fork. She was not used to drinking local beer. Jessica, who was used to drinking strong liquor, had little interest in the beer itself.

"After eating these, I realized what was missing in my life in the Holy Mountain."

Luke's mouth was full of words, and his body was still shaking as he spoke.

He has quite a black style, and his previous stability is not visible at all.

"Speaking of which, I just want to know why there are black bread everywhere on the Holy Mountain. Not everyone likes the taste of that thing, right?"

Rumlow poured a sip of beer into his mouth, and then spoke enthusiastically to the people present.

"Who knows, on the other hand, every time I go to the blacksmith shop to find Bulcasso, my staple food is black bread. But I have never seen that milk elsewhere."

Jessica took out the wine that Orak gave her from her backpack. This large can contained at least five or six liters. Even if she was an alcoholic, she couldn't drink it all at once.

"Which ancestor's collection is this?"

Rumlow smelled the aroma of wine, stuffed a big mouthful of meat into his mouth, grabbed the wine Jessica took out, and poured it into the glass.

Jessica took back the wine can angrily and filled a beer glass for everyone present. She then shook the can and confirmed the inventory before speaking.

"Ancestor Banar, congratulations to Orak on getting an heir."

Jessica put the jar back into her backpack and picked up the cup in front of her.

"Come, to Harrogath! To Bulcaisel! Cheers!"

Jessica held her wine glass high and said words of celebration that outsiders couldn't understand.

"For Harrogath! For Bulcaisso! Cheers!"×4

Steve also joined the cheers without any surprise.

The moment the wine entered his mouth, the burning sensation like a flame made Steve unbearable.

It's not that he has never drunk strong alcohol before, but even the strongest alcohol he has ever drunk does not make him feel like his whole body is on fire.

"This wine is different from the collection of Madoc's ancestors. It's a bit rough."

Luke let out a long breath with his mouth open.

"What treasures does Mardoc have? Didn't he drink all of his treasures before he died in battle? Most of the 'treasures' he mentioned were taken from other ancestors."

Rumlow savored the taste of the wine and said quietly.

"The wine Luke drank last time was from Bulcasso's collection. I heard it was the original version. Later, Bulcasso's technology became better, so he gave that batch of wine to the ancestors."

Matthew, who had heard a lot of ancestor gossip from Leike, put down his cup and said.

Steve looked at the people in front of him with a smile, and he couldn't join in the conversation about the Holy Mountain of Harrogas.

It seems that he is about the same age as several people here, but Steve, who has been sleeping for nearly fifty years, is an out-and-out old man.

But my mentality is still the same as when I was young.

"You are different from me. I saw Orak pass by."

Jessica swallowed the wine in her mouth, made an exaggerated voice unique to drunkards, and then spoke.

Among this group of barbarian recruits, only Jessica is the chosen heir, and she is the only one who does not have to figure out how to understand her leader.

"Aurark in the picture is really wild, and his posture of killing demons wantonly is quite handsome!"

Jessica's words made Luke a little tasteful.

"Speaking of pictures, except for Jessica, what everyone sees is basically the picture of Bulcasso, right?"

Matthew stuffed another piece of meat into his mouth. Although he didn't stay on the Holy Mountain as long as Rumlow and the others, he was still a little greedy.

"Speaking of Bulcaisso, what will the successor he chooses see? Will he see the general process of the Bulcaisu battle like us?"

Rumlow clinked glasses with Steve and then said.

"Who knows, I think it might be different from what we saw."

Luke took a big gulp of wine, and then spoke vaguely.

The drink he drank just now was a bit violent, which made his tongue numb.

"That's true, but it has nothing to do with us."

Jessica glanced at Steve, who was a little embarrassed, and planned to change the topic.

"It's surprising that Captain America is still alive."

"Indeed, I was also surprised."

Nick Fury pushed open the door to the private room with some difficulty, walked directly to Steve and sat down.

Rumlow looked at Nick Fury with disgust.

"This is?"

Jessica took a sip from the wine glass, and the private room was completely enveloped in the smell of strong liquor.

"Nick Fury, the director of S.H.I.E.L.D. is so ruthless that he could even kill me, a hero, just to maintain stability."

Rumlow picked up the glass and took a swig.

"You're the one who asked Bulcasso to punish you personally? I have to say that this is quite impressive."

Matthew picked up a piece of steak and stuffed it into his mouth.

Nick Fury was indeed a big shot in their eyes before, but not now.

"SHIELD is actually not as bad as Rumlow said, but its purpose is good."

Steve glanced at Nick Fury with disgust, and then explained.

"The purpose is good, but you can use shady methods to do things? The purple man's body is still in SHIELD's research room."

Rumlow said with some contempt.

If it weren't for the Purple Man's ability, Bucky Barnes would have blown Nick Fury's head off.

"boom!"

The sudden loud noise was when Jessica smashed the wine glass on the table. Although the purple man was no longer a nightmare for her, that guy could still make Jessica angry!

"You didn't destroy that bastard as promised, and you're still researching it!?"

Jessica had already taken out the handaxe.

No one here knew about Jessica's past, maybe Nick Fury knew a little bit.

After all, he personally issued the order to investigate the news about the Purple Man.

"Jessica?"

Luke stood up and looked at Nick Fury with eyes full of hostility.

Although he didn't know why Jessica was angry, he knew that as a barbarian he would not release his anger for no reason.

Coupled with his good impression of Jessica, he stood up immediately.

"It seems like this 'Purple Man' is not a good thing. He is really troublesome."

Matthew picked up the cup and drank the strong wine in it, and then a mace and a hand ax appeared on his waist.

The two-handed giant hammer belonging to Rumlow also appeared at Rumlow's feet.

"I think this is not the topic we should talk about, but it seems that Nick Fury's research is a very dangerous thing."

Rumlow didn't stand up, but his attitude was already clear.

His attitude was evident in his tone of contempt and disgust.

Steve drank in silence. Although he didn't like Nick Fury's style, it was a bit reluctant for him to express hostility directly.

Anyway, when Nick Fury appears, he is basically a stand-in, so missing one or two does not seem to be a big deal.

"That is research that can reduce agent casualties and is very useful in maintaining peace."

Nick Fury didn't do anything special. He picked up a steak from the table and ate it.

"Who knows if you will do something disgusting with that ability? Who can guarantee it!?"
