Chapter 26 Dragon Egg(1/2)
Chapter 26
The Weasley brothers made jokes and quickly returned to the lounge.
Harry suspected that the secret passage might have a few more years of life left - if the two of them could walk peacefully.
Ron squatted eagerly at the door, waiting.
"Harry, have you bought anything?" Seeing a few people coming in, he couldn't wait to ask.
Harry showed no expression as he handed over a large bag of candy: "Here, here it is."
Ron reached out his hand and took it blankly.
No…
That's not what I'm talking about.
George teased: "Our little Ronnie is still a little baby who loves desserts."
"Have you bought anything?" Harry asked as he hurried in the door.
"Wait a minute." Hagrid suddenly became panicked in response. After a while, he opened the door and let them in.
"Are there any other effects?" Harry asked again.
As soon as Friday's class ended and they had lunch, they hurried to Hagrid's hut.
"I remember he is not a qualified wizard?"
"Harry? Why are you here..." Hagrid was a little surprised, "Oh, it's not that I don't welcome you, I just didn't expect you."
Hagrid welcomed them in: "What's the matter?"
Hagrid pushed the money towards Harry again: "I also have an idea for bicorn horn powder. There are some in the Forbidden Forest, but they are a little naughty."
Hermione glanced at Ron in surprise - she didn't know this, but Ron, who only slept in the History of Magic class, could speak so eloquently.
"I remember that the sword oil was wiped clean."
"Hagrid, raising dragons is illegal! As early as 1709 at the Wizards' Conference, individuals were prohibited from raising fire dragons."
"I need bicorn horn powder and African tree snake skin, do you have any?" Harry asked.
Harry felt the majestic breath of life and magic in the dragon egg, a very high-quality material.
"My brother Charlie raises dragons in Romania." Ron scratched his face.
A muffled response came from the room: "Who is it?"
When he almost reached the house, Harry stopped and frowned.
"How long will it take for Hagrid to get it?" Hermione held the book and read the information about the bicorn, "This is a four-level 'X' dangerous creature."
"What's wrong?" Hermione asked.
The Christmas holidays are coming to an end soon.
Harry knocked on the door, and Yaya jumped out first. When he saw who it was, he immediately tucked his tail between his legs, howled, and hid back in the house.
Harry knocked on the door: "Hagrid, are you home?"
Harry pulled out his wand and said, "Something's not right."
The Sorting Hat glanced at him, waiting for questions. The tip of the hat was drooped, warming itself comfortably by the fire.
The Sorting Hat thought for a while: "Ten years, maybe twenty years, I haven't seen this effect take effect for a long time."
"Dumbledore also likes candy." Ron did not deny it and casually grabbed someone to block the gun for him.
What a fairy tale experience.
"Don't worry, Hagrid can handle it." Harry waved his hand, "He is very strong. At least the giant monster I dealt with was no match for him."
Harry also moved a chair over and sat down: "I found a problem today."
Harry was a little surprised. The best weapon he had ever used could only increase the effect of Alder's Seal - it was a gift brought back to him by Lambert.
Harry couldn't wait any longer and planned to ask in person.
Harry shook his head: "That's the last option."
"And it's snowing a lot now, so it might not be easy to find them. I need some time."
"Where to go? Hogsmeade?" Ron was a little excited.
Harry stood up and patted Ron on the shoulder: "Come on, let's go out."
Hagrid shook his head: "Why do you want these things? They are all contraband."
Harry took off his hat and placed it on the chair by the fireplace: "Just wait a moment, I have something to ask it."
Those two hateful brothers, why didn't you bring yourself along, otherwise you would be Harry's thigh pendant now... Oh, no, he would be one of the brave little wizards.
"Isn't there one in Hogsmeade?" Ron followed Harry, "How about sending a letter to Hermione to try?"
Until the end of Christmas vacation.
Ron waved his hand and strode to Harry: "Harry, I mean, our one..."
Chatted with Hagrid for a while again.
"When Dumbledore pulled out this sword, he was already over sixty years old, but he had never used it."
Hagrid was stunned: "Harry, you should smile more, you look so much like your mother when you smile."
"A stranger came up to me to play cards and within a few rounds he took out the dragon egg as a bet - to be honest, the man was just dying to get rid of it."
The Sorting Hat said proudly: "Of course, it can cut through water and fire, and it is also immune to some magic spells. After all, Gryffindor also used this sword to fight wizards."
Come February.
"Thank you, Hagrid." Harry looked serious, "Half of the trouble has been solved for me."
Harry ignored him and walked straight to the fireplace and stopped: "There is an egg in the fireplace, Hagrid, is this your lunch? This is really rough."
Hagrid tugged at his beard: "No, I was drinking in Hogsmeade a few nights ago, and I wanted to help you ask if anyone has bicorn horn powder in their hands."
Hagrid then owled a message to Harry.
The effect that satisfied him most was undoubtedly the ability to absorb sword oil.
Harry took out the money from his pocket, twenty galleons, and put it on the table: "Thank you, Hagrid."
"No, no money." Hagrid blushed and waved his hands.
George chimed in: "And you're just a Flobber's Caterpillar-level baby Ronnie."
Dong Dong——
"That's great." Ron's eyes were full of envy.
Hagrid hesitated and pointed to the table, which contained a wooden box, eighteen gold Galleons and a pile of silver Sickles: "I only bought the skin of the African tree snake, not the powder of the bicorn horn."
"Oh...this, um...the egg of a very cute creature." Hagrid hesitated and said in a panic, "I'm trying to hatch it."
Hagrid reluctantly nodded, raised his hand and patted his chest loudly: "Okay, don't worry, I will definitely help you get it at the most reasonable price."
Harry didn't hide anything, he was very sincere: "You need this thing in the first level of Gryffindor's trial."
A simple little wizard who went out to play met a cruel and vicious dark wizard. Finally, with the wisdom of the little wizard, he successfully defeated the dark wizard.
"Just like your sword oil."
"You didn't tell me." Harry dug into his hat and took out another bottle of ogre oil - he had re-boiled it, but now he felt that it was a loss.
There has been no news from him.
Fred shook his head: "But he is Dumbledore."
The Sorting Hat lazily said: "It can absorb some liquids and the magical effects carried in the blood."
"The man whose hands I cut off had the effect of the sword oil on the wound." Harry said, "It's just that he is a human and the sword oil has no effect on him."
Harry glanced at him: "Go to Hagrid. I didn't get what I wanted."
Harry shook his head: "This is not for you, but for those who sell these things."
"The Trial of Gryffindor?" Hagrid's eyes widened, "Oh, yes, you drew the Sword of Gryffindor when you entered school. I don't have these things in my hand now."
How long can I harvest Hagrid's wool by myself? Up to seven years...
"She comes from a non-wizard family." Harry crawled out of the lounge, "The gold galleons that can be redeemed each year are limited."
"A dragon egg?" Hermione said suddenly, "I read in the book that only some types of dragon eggs need to be hatched this way."
It's hotter inside, and the fire in the fireplace is brighter than in winter.
Harry picked up the box and opened it. He saw that the snake skin was green and black. It was very fresh. It was less than a month old.
The friendship of friends should not be mixed with money. No matter how good the relationship between the wolf factions is, the entrustment should be clearly considered - drinking and drinking does not count, that is another matter.
"Thank you, it's really cold outside." The Sorting Hat shivered, "This will make it much more comfortable."
Hermione and Ron didn't dare to speak. They held their breath and followed Harry slowly to the door.
To be continued...
