Chapter 56 The Secret of the Chamber of Secrets~

Chapter 56 The secret of the secret room (please read~)

The man who left the writing and petrified Mrs. Norris must clean up all traces of himself.

Not even a suspicious magical aura was left behind.

Secret room...

The word weighed heavily on his mind.

Filch pushed through the crowd and squeezed in. When he saw the hanging cat, the magic effect seemed to be contagious. He froze and stared blankly.

The chatter of discussions in the crowd turned into a burst of harsh, sharp, hazy tinnitus.

After a while, he staggered a step forward, but the strength in his body had long been drained.

He tripped his left foot onto his right foot, tied it into a knot, and with a snap, he fell heavily into the water. He didn't struggle, he only half-raised his head in confusion, staring at his cat's vertical pupils that still retained fear.

"Mrs. Norris!"

"If I were there, I could save it. I happen to know how to break the curse..."

"Does a savior need to step in to resolve the incident?"

"The little snake in the painting is Slytherin's Animagus." Harry explained.

Harry couldn't hold it back and interrupted him: "Professor Lockhart, maybe you have used your kidneys too much recently, and your eyesight has also become poor."

Filch was startled and turned his head quickly. A look of luck and expectation flashed in his eyes. He looked at Harry with a pitiful tone and begged: "Oh, Mr. Potter, Loris...she is really alive."

?”

Lockhart volunteered: "I can. I must have prepared this potion more than a hundred times. I can even cook it while sleeping..."

Lockhart smiled even brighter: "I think Mr. Filch can..."

Harry glanced at Snape and moved closer to Dumbledore: "I stole the painting in the Slytherin common room."

"More than that, be more patient." Harry shook his head and continued, "Actually, it's a Gryffindor trial. The first level asked me to steal Slytherin's portrait."

"But why does she seem to be frozen and motionless?" Filch cried, his emotions finally rolling down like a torrent, unstoppable.

"Performing such an unforgivable prank that he must be hung up and beaten!"

A request that cannot be refused.

Lockhart took everyone to his office.

"Mrs. Norris is indeed not dead."

The crowd parted silently to make way for them.

"You can trust him, Filch." Professor McGonagall glanced at Lockhart casually, waved her wand, lifted Filch up, and used a cleaning spell to clean his robes, "Potter is very keen."

"Following Professor McGonagall, Professor Flitwick learned so many spells, but finally couldn't suppress his eagerness to act, and became arrogant, feeling that he had to solve everything by himself?"

"In his mind, these professors at Hogwarts are all idiots."

"Mr. Lockhart, are you ready to exchange teaching positions with me?" Snape interrupted him coldly.

Dumbledore nodded without refusing.

Before he spoke, Dumbledore understood. With a wave of his wand, all the portraits and photos were covered with a layer of white mist: "Now you can say it with confidence."

Filch lay on the ground, turning his head and scanning the faces of the little wizards with resentment and hostility, trying to find the murderer, but no matter who he looked at, they all looked alike.

"Argus, maybe we should go to the office to talk." Dumbledore kept staring at Loris before speaking, waving his wand and taking it off the shelf, "Minerva, you can bring Lolly

Send Mrs. Si to Poppy, she might be able to do something."

"And I, because of the fragment of Voldemort's soul, have the ability to speak Parseltongue."

He left with Filch.

"Harry?" Dumbledore, Ron, and Hermione were all surprised. Harry didn't seem like someone who liked to join in the fun.

"He must be in great need of your care." Dumbledore interrupted, "My dear Gilderoy, would you please send Filch to Poppy's?"

Lockhart walked at the front triumphantly, as if everything that happened just now was directed by him. Snape also followed in silence, his face so gloomy that it could drip water.

Harry followed.

It's a request.

"She was just petrified." Dumbledore comforted, "But..."

"Which of you harmed her!"

Dumbledore was also slightly surprised and tilted his head back.

Filch shook his head and gritted his teeth: "Thank you...I mean, thank you for your kindness, Mr. Potter, but I want to know who killed Mrs. Norris!"

Each of these...

"Starting tomorrow, I will provide you with some potions for digesting fecal stones." Snape said with a sneer, "My dear Headmaster Dumbledore."

"Gryffindor may have wanted me to read the school history and think that the snake running away from the school represents Slytherin." Harry continued, "But he may not have expected that a Gryffindor can snake.

The ability to speak loudly."

Harry comforted him softly: "I don't know who it is now, but you should believe Dumbledore. If Professor Snape hadn't stuffed a few more bezoars into his head, he would have solved it quickly.

.”

Snape's expression changed, twisted and ferocious.

Snape, who turned around to leave, paused and stared at Potter, whom he hated the most.

Dumbledore said: "Then let's go together."

"Someone killed this cat." Lockhart looked very excited. "It was probably the transformation torture curse. I have encountered this kind of curse many times, but now it is too late."

"Professor Dumbledore." Filch looked pitifully at the old man who was nearly twice his age, "Loris, what happened to her?"

They had just taken a few steps up the stairs.

Snape was stunned, holding his wand and narrowing his eyes: "Is this what you want to say?"

Snape waved his wand and the whole room lit up.

They all wished they could be kicked out of the castle.

"I might know something." Harry lowered his voice.

Dumbledore rubbed his face: "Harry, you shouldn't say that to an old man."

"The cat is still alive."

Each of these...

"who!"

Lockhart froze and closed his mouth.

Snape narrowed his eyes: "If I remember correctly, what was stolen was a landscape painting."

"When they mature, we can prepare a resurrection potion that can lift most of the transformation curse."

They all wished that something happened to Mrs. Norris who could only catch them at night.

"You can go to my office, it's upstairs, very close." Lockhart said eagerly.

Lockhart's smile froze and he nodded with difficulty: "Okay, since it is your order from Principal Dumbledore."

"Poppy may have some ideas, and Pomona just asked the second-year wizard to plant mandrakes."

Snape looked at Harry: "If Professor Lockhart just wants to show off his abilities, why is our Mr. Potter here again?"

Lockhart went to find matches and prepared to light the candle.

Harry raised his head and looked at the portraits: "Professor Dumbledore, maybe you can cast a spell..."

The pink-toned background was decorated with photos of himself. When Dumbledore and others came in, those portraits and photos fled in panic. In a hurry, they could be seen holding curling irons, facial masks and the like.

"She was petrified by a very profound black magic. It will be difficult for me to unravel it for a while, but Harry is right, she is not dead yet."

Professor McGonagall nodded seriously.

Harry shook his head: "Perhaps our Professor Lockhart should send Mr. Filch back. He probably needs a rest now."

Lockhart stiffened and smiled dryly: "I think so too."

"This makes it easy for me to find the painting."

"And the portrait speaks a snake language, and the content is about the secret room."
