Chapter 65(1/2)

He is the pile driver! (Please read~)

Dumbledore nodded dullly: "The elves searched every little wizard's dormitory, but they couldn't find the wordless book."

Harry was about to speak.

"Including yours, including Ginny's, including those who left school." Dumbledore immediately added.

Harry asked: "What about the professors?"

"Are you doubting Lockhart?" Dumbledore was surprised.

Harry nodded: "It can't disappear out of thin air. Lying in a stinking ditch doesn't look like lying...it doesn't look like a choice that Tom would make."

"But they are professors." Dumbledore shook his head, still hesitant.

Harry glanced to the side and saw the empty place: "You should be glad that Professor Snape is not here."

"Severus is different." Dumbledore said meaningfully, "I watched him grow up, from the eleven-year-old little boy who just entered school to the age he is now."

"Harry, do you feel anything?" Dumbledore asked after he was far away.

"He will create more and more fear."

"I am Lockhart, an honorary member of the Anti-Dark Arts Alliance, and the Defense Against the Dark Arts professor at Hogwarts. If I find a dark magic item, I will give it to you long ago!"

"Voldemort at his peak might have been able to hide it from me, but in this... it's impossible to hide it from me in this state."

Dumbledore said nothing, he understood what Harry meant.

"Minerva, please send the Weasleys back to the common room. I'm afraid Harry will have to follow me for a while." Dumbledore nodded apologetically at her.

They then went to other people's offices.

"Have the magic power of the two people who were attacked for the first time also dried up?" Seeing that he didn't speak, Harry asked a new question.

He hesitated: "He is the kind of...very exaggerated person."

Harry also met many professors he didn't know yet, including Trelawney from the Divination class and Kettleburn from the Care of Magical Creatures class.

"Minerva, let's start with you, okay?" He raised his head and looked at the serious lady standing next to the Weasley family.

Harry narrowed his eyes, the expression in his pupils was extremely serious.

"Every time something happens, he can't wait to get involved, but not this time. He wants us to leave."

"People who hate you will not sit idly by."

"I also tested it with magic power, but it's nothing ordinary."

Even Lockhart's clothes were lifted up.

All drawers open automatically.

Mag immediately expressed his position: "For the safety of students, I am very willing."

Lockhart breathed a sigh of relief and smiled dryly: "Professor Dumbledore, although I understand your mood very well, I have to say that you have suspected the wrong person!"

"What you want to protect..."

She was the one who least doubted it, but since he decided to do this, Dumbledore checked it very carefully. With a wave of his wand, everything in the office flew past his eyes, and then returned to its original place after he examined it one by one.

He tried to look surprised.

Dumbledore remained silent.

Dumbledore nodded: "Yes, they all - Tom is drawing their magic?"

Dumbledore knocked on the door.

I have no idea why I suddenly asked such a question.

Dumbledore frowned.

"How's it going?" Lockhart couldn't hold it back and asked with a bit of anxiety.

"He looks a bit old." Harry waved his hand, "Age doesn't matter."

"All professors." Dumbledore smiled slightly, "Minerva, Filius, I have checked their offices."

Dumbledore sighed: "I will let the elves pay attention to him."

Lockhart backed down half a step and said in a long voice: "Okay, Professor Dumbledore, please."

"What opened the secret room was a dark magic item." Dumbledore explained briefly, "But it disappeared from the hands of the little wizard. We checked the students and it was not in their hands, so I thought it might be someone

The professor picked it up."

"Then Lockhart must have watched him grow up." Harry said expressionlessly, "He is not much older than Professor Snape, at most twenty years older."

"It seems I can rest assured." Professor McGonagall smiled knowingly.

No matter what happens in the castle, he, the principal, must bear the heaviest responsibility.

It took him a moment to react, "Are you doubting me?"

Three students have been attacked...

"Lockhart is four years younger than Snape." Dumbledore corrected his mistake.

"Nothing strange." Dumbledore shook his head and put everything back in its place.

After checking the offices upstairs one by one, it was Lockhart's turn on the second floor.

"Of course, you're welcome." Lockhart walked around them eagerly and opened the door enthusiastically.

Dumbledore was also a little surprised. He waved his wand again, and every book, every notebook, and even every letter in the office stopped in front of his eyes, allowing him to quickly flip through the pages.

Harry interrupted: "What is your status at Hogwarts?"

As he spoke, Harry paused, took a heavy step, leaned forward slightly, and spoke like a sword, poking at the old man's chest: "That's Tom, a man who is good at playing with fear. Think about the words in his name."

magic."

Mag nodded: "Of course, I am willing to cooperate."

"Remember the first few times?"

Dumbledore was stunned.

Harry raised his hand, pointed at his own eyes, then turned it around and stabbed Dumbledore's eyes fiercely from the air. The cat's eyes were illuminated by the candlelight, and there was a faint chill: "Kick you out of the castle.

Everything is convenient.”

Harry shook his head vigorously in denial: "I hope you take action, the elf is unreliable."

"It seems that there is one?" Harry thought thoughtfully, "Then you should think about how to protect yourself, how can you stay in Hogwarts shamelessly and solve this matter."

Harry shook his head and said hesitantly: "No, but something is very wrong with Lockhart."

"He wants to gather strength."

Just walked out of the office.

"You are right, Harry." Dumbledore exhaled, nodded heavily, and stood up, "I should take action myself."

There is no wordless book.

Dumbledore waved his wand.

"Maybe it's too late?" Dumbledore said softly, "At least I didn't find anything weird. I checked everything carefully."

All kinds of strange things appeared, but there was no book that looked strange.

Harry was stunned.

"Of course I believe you, Gilderoy." Dumbledore smiled, "There are other professors whose offices have not been checked, so I have to continue working."

Still very attentive, everything in the office flew past his eyes - bombastic biographies, letters in various pink backgrounds, and even a piece of lace underwear.

"If given the chance, would anyone want to kick you out of Hogwarts?" Harry asked in a different way.

"After you, there is Severus, Filch, Rubeus and I will not be left behind."

Harry narrowed his eyes and stared at him.

With a bang, the door was slammed shut, and Harry could even hear the sound of a chair being dragged against the door.

Biography, novel manuscript, and even a bound volume of love letters.

"I'm just investigating the professor's office. I think they will be very willing to cooperate with you." Harry struck while the iron was hot.

"Really?" Lockhart coughed twice.

But there was no such emotion in his eyes. Instead, he was beaming with joy and high spirits - a bit more high-spirited than his usual posture.

"Obviously." Harry shrugged and nodded slightly, "He is very weak now. I guess there is a high probability that he will not kill anyone recently, or even avoid killing people."

After speaking, his tone became confused.

After a while, Lockhart came over and opened the door, wearing a gorgeous red robe, as if he had just gotten out of bed, and hurriedly buttoned his buttons: "Professor Dumbledore, why are you here?"

"I will protect the students..." Dumbledore looked serious.

"Ordinary families, mixed-race families, pure-blood families..."
