Chapter 569 Qin Shihuang's Oral(1/2)

Chu Tian was puzzled and considered the throne carefully.

The texture of this throne ink jade looks a bit familiar.

But for a while, I couldn't think of where I had seen this kind of black jade material.

So I had to shake my head.

"Then do you know...why I hate crows?" Qin Shihuang asked again.

"Crow..." Chu Tian pondered for a moment.

Looking at each other, I thought of the records in history.

During the Spring and Autumn Period and the Warring States Period, hundreds of schools of thought arose, and cultural development accelerated.

Various cultures and ideas collided with each other, various academics communicated with each other, and many academic schools emerged one after another.

Among them, the more famous schools of thought include Confucianism, Mohism, Legalism, Taoism, Yin and Yang, military strategists, etc.

Qin Shihuang recruited alchemists from all over the country to refine the magic elixir that could keep him young and immortal, and spent a lot of manpower and material resources on this.

In 219 BC, Qin Shihuang spent three months on a boat in the Shandong Peninsula, and they were drifting on the sea.

Qin Shihuang heard that there were three fairy mountains in the Bohai Bay, namely Penglai, Fangzhang, and Yingzhou, and each of them had an immortal with the elixir of life.

Qin Shihuang was greatly tempted and began his pursuit of immortality.

The person who told Qin Shihuang this story was called Xu Fu.

Xu Fu was an alchemist from Shandong. He told Qin Shihuang that he had seen these fairy mountains with his own eyes, and promised in front of Qin Shihuang that he would find fairy mountains, immortals and elixirs for him.

However, there is another folk legend.

According to legend, it was when the Qin Dynasty had just unified. Qin Shihuang was still young at that time. How could he think of not letting himself die of old age?

It is because of a legend that in ancient Fujian, there were many dead people. These people either died in battles or starved to death without having anything to eat.

At this time, a crow flew onto the fallen body, but a piece of grass accidentally fell off the crow.

Unexpectedly, the corpse actually came back to life. The soldier saw it and reported it to his superiors.

This was passed on level by level, and Qin Shihuang knew about it.

He sent many people to look for the crow and the sacred grass on its back.

I don’t know who first said that the crows came from the Immortal Island, but after that, they actually started sending people to search for a way to live forever.

Could it be that this is why Qin Shihuang in front of him hates crows?

Chu Tian tentatively recounted this folk legend.

Sure enough, Qin Shihuang responded.

"The crow...was transformed by Xu Fu!" As soon as these words came out.

Chu Tian was not too surprised.

Since his rebirth, he has encountered too many strange things.

It's not surprising that a magician can turn into a crow.

"Is it true that Xu Fu took 3,000 boys and girls to Dongying?" Chu Tian asked again.

Qin Shihuang looked at the dome, as if he was remembering through time.

"This is indeed true. Damn Xu Fu, he will never come back... He came back five years later, but he was the only one who saw him!"

When Qin Shihuang said this, he paused.

There was a haze in his eyes, filled with hatred.

"He didn't bring back the elixir of life, did he?" Chu Tian asked.

Whether it is legend or history, it is said that Xu Fu did not bring back any elixir of immortality when he returned from his first trip to Japan.

He only brought back news about the gods, and also said that he wanted to talk about the so-called gods.

The gift he brought this time was too meager, not enough to exchange for the elixir of immortality.

If you want to ask for medicine, you need more boys and girls.

So, Xu Fu went to Japan for the second time.

However, after Xu Fu left for the second time, he never came back.

Qin Shihuang waited for a long time and knew that he had been deceived.

So he continued to search for the way to immortality in Kyoto.

In 215 BC, Qin Shihuang traveled eastward and met the sorcerers Lu Sheng and Hou Sheng.

First, Lu Sheng said that he knew the way to seek immortality.

Qin Shihuang treated him as an honored guest.

Then Lu Sheng found a 'fairy book'.

He wrote a sentence: "Hu Ye is the one who destroyed Qin".

Because of this sentence, Qin Shihuang sent troops to destroy the Xiongnu.

Later... Lu Shengyou said that the whereabouts of Qin Shi Huang should not be known to anyone.

Otherwise, you will not survive until the elixir appears.

So Qin Shihuang began to waste people and money to build and restore the corridor.

Curtains and curtains and drums were also set up in the palace.

As long as someone approaches, it will wake up.

Qin Shihuang began to live randomly in various palaces so that no one would know his whereabouts.

From then on, he never went on tour again.

I don’t know why, but over time, Qin Shihuang became more and more violent and cruel.

As time passed, I began to have doubts about Lu Sheng and Hou Sheng.

Moreover, Qin Shihuang established a cruel staff, which could only be dispatched by him alone.

Lu Sheng and Hou Sheng began to panic. Seeing that the matter was about to be exposed, they were afraid of being persecuted by Qin Shihuang and fled!

However, they escaped.

But it aroused Qin Shihuang's anger, and he began to hate all Confucian scholars!

The result was the incident of burning books and harassing Confucians.

Books were burned and more than 460 people who violated the ban were killed.

However, when Qin Shihuang burned books, he did not burn books on medicine, agriculture and animal husbandry, and other technical and practical books.

This can be seen from the Qin Shihuang who is locked here by someone unknown in front of him.

Still very wise...

Chu Tian looked at the person in front of him and didn't know how to feel about him.

After all, historically, he was considered a tyrant.

During his reign, the people suffered, the people were in dire straits, and too many things were done that wasted people and money.

"No...he brought it back! That night, when he came to Gu's bedroom, the strange thing was that the curtains and drums didn't sound.

He just appeared in front of Gu's bed like that!

Xu Fu told Gu that Lu Sheng and Hou Sheng were swindlers.

He also gave Gu Gu a pill and told Gu Gu that this medicine must be taken before Gu Shan died, so that he could be brought back to life and become immortal.

After saying that, Xu Fu turned into a crow and flew away!

Suddenly he remembered what happened before when the crow carried the fairy grass. This Xu Fu went to the land of Japan.

He actually became a disciple of an immortal and could turn into a crow and fly..."

This is Qin Shihuang's slow narration, as if coming from ancient memories.

Chutian was also fascinated by what he heard. There were indeed some fragments in the historical records.

But listening to the person involved, it feels like the sky is lifted.

As a listener, Chutian asked questions that interested him from time to time.

When he asked about Qin Shihuang's burning of books and humiliation of Confucians, what happened?

But he was greeted by Qin Shihuang's arrogant smile.
